Very nice hotel. Very clean. Nice employees. In walking distance to downtown shopping. Highly recommend.

Very charming place. Can’t wait to come back.

Just a weekend getaway to Ocean Springs. First time in the area and enjoyed how close the Roost was to the beach and shopping.

Great property. We are fans! My wife and I were able to walk to both the beach (amazing sunset) and to dinner in town; it seemed equidistant to both. Just several blocks to each - very doable.

Great stay, nice boutique hotel within walking distance of beach and village. Unique and well maintained. Would stay again!!

The hotel is located in a lovely neighborhood. The interior design tops the experience.

This is an adorable place to stay. So comfortable and convenient to everything Ocean Springs has to offer. The staff is second to none. We will be back for sure!

We enjoyed our stay and relished the small and quaint surroundings.

Our stay at The Roost in Ocean Springs was just as charming as the quaint and welcoming town of Ocean Springs itself. Nestled in groves of centuries old live oak trees, The Roost Boutique Hotel, provides all of the amenities you would expect in a luxurious getaway stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the many comfortable sitting areas on the porches, patios, balconies, and even the pergola in the private pool area surrounded by a lush garden. Additionally, our room was well appointed in every detail. Lastly, the close location to the Ocean Springs historic shopping district and food eateries made for a perfect short stay to celebrate my birthday! Many thanks to The Roost for paying attention to details that make special occasions truly special!!

Loved the property. Beautiful grounds. Perfectly warm plunge pool, lovely fireplace to sit and enjoy the outside space. Right down the road from the beach so you could walk along the beach in the morning. They observe a quiet time from 9 am-9 pm. Beautiful room. Extra towels. We would love to visit again!

Very unique Resort with lots of character. Each room brings in a special flare. Great pool and outdoor fireplace too. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

The pool and backyard area really looked amazing.

Beautiful setting but room wasn’t very clean

This is a beautiful place to stay. Very convenient to everything in Ocean Springs. A short, walk or drive to shopping and restaurants. We walked to breakfast. Unfortunately, we had no heat during our stay. A couple of people, including the bartender, were sent to help, but there was no resolution. Thankfully, it was not terribly cold. Also, the Wi-Fi login we were given was not available in our room. But these minor inconveniences will not keep us from coming back.

Had a Wonderful Stay

This is definitely a welcoming place to stay - the rooms are clean, they had the BEST coffee, & there is a bar - literally where I had to pop by & everyone was so friendly - I was welcomed on the spot! I stayed in the Islander suite & it was wonderful - the added touch of the swing outside, the pool view, the huge king sized bed and amazing shower was such a blessing after a long 8 hour drive from Texas - I frequently travel back and dirt from Texas to Florida and this is definitely a hidden oasis! The pool is gorgeous and the grounds are so impeccably kept! In a beautiful safe neighborhood with welcoming locals! Their response time was always prompt, customer service wonderful. I now have a few places of rest to choose from when I make that long 16 hour drive & I will definitely book again!

spacious, clean and well appointment room.
One thing I did not like was there virtually no counter space in the bathroom. it was a. challenge to navigate your toiletries out of the bag I brought them in.

This property is stunning. The room was clean, comfortable and the grounds provide multiple areas to relax. The pool is small yet luxurious. Lovely craft cocktails at the Wilbur. Great location to walk two blocks to the beach or a couple of blocks into downtown.

We had an amazing time at The Roost. The staff are phenomenally helpful; the property is gorgeous and it is in a wonderful neighborhood close to town. We had a wonderful time and I can’t wait to return.

Loved that it was in walking distance to many shops and restaurants!

The property has a very serene environment overall. Our first night was spent in the Islander suite and the bed was very uncomfortable. We were told we could move, then told we could not. Eventually they did move us to the Tallon suite which was very nice and comfortable. Getting the staff to move us was a challenge. Decision makers are absent from the property, and the staff on sight, although very pleasant are basically powerless to effect change, make decisions, or solve problems.

My home away from home! We absolutely love The Roost.
4.7
I felt like I was home. I will stay at the Roost again!

The weather was cold, the room was 60 degrees. The heating unit would not raise the temperature more then 2 degrees. Our entire stay was in a 62 degree room. I complained and was told an electric heater would be furnished but was not. I would not return and am considering sharing my disappointment on social media.

A great area and every little detail is there to make you
feel right at home.
Very quaint and quite.
Highly recommend this beautifully stylish place for your stay in Ocean Springs.

I was excited to stay here and visit Ocean Springs for the first time but quite honestly was disappointed.
Check-in process:
What is the intention for sharing the door access code before arrival? To allow people to navigate to their rooms without checking into the front office? That’s what I tried to do but had a heck of a time finding my room (the Islander) and went up and down two flights of stairs in two buildings with my luggage before becoming frustrated and checking in with the gal in the front office. If you’d like for your guests to find their rooms on their own, perhaps indicate more details in the email i.e., building name or number, floor level, etc. I was frustrated and sweaty (it was so warm and humid in late December) by the time I found my room.
And while in my room, I was disappointed by several things:
1. Spots under the fitted sheet on the bed. After further investigation, it was likely just lint, but it was visible through the sheet and should’ve been removed and cleaned before making the bed!
2. The ice bucket was broken and missing a handle.
3. There was no measuring device for the coffee and nothing to stir the coffee with.
4. There were no bottled waters and nowhere on property to purchase water or to-go snacks given that Eat, Drink, Love was closed due to it relocating.
5. I was surprised to find only glassware in the room given Covid. I expected disposable, or something covering the glass indicating it was clean.

The Roost gave my friends and I a great get-away. The place was clean, classy, and the check in experience was so easy. We can't wait to go back and loved our suite.
4.7
It was a really wonderful experience. This property architect deserves an award, and it’s walking distance to downtown Ocean Springs
4.7
Great place to stay. Discrete, off the beaten path yet near everything. We will visit it again.
4.7
Amazingly beautiful hotel. Only complaint was the pool wasn’t ready, but hotel let us use nearby pool at another hotel. And we weren’t made aware that the on-site bar would be closed on a Sunday. Also, no food was available Sunday or Monday morning. That was disappointing, but staff gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, which was nice. Beautiful grounds & rooms & common areas to hang out with friends tho!
4.7
Every thing. Great place to stay.
4.7
Great place to rest and relax! Beautiful hotel with perfect spots to sit, sip, eat and relax. The Wilbur Bar serves great cocktails and food! We loved it!
4.7
Such a beautiful and unique hotel! Comfortable bed and great room with Coast Roast coffee to brew in the morning and a good size mini fridge. Felt like luxury-especially with the incredible craft cocktails and snacks at the attached bar. We loved the open common space upstairs.
4.7
It was peaceful and fun with live music on Saturday night. Everything was quiet after 9PM and the property is lovely
4.7
We loved the keyless entry, the immediate attention we received when we called for assistance and the safety. We felt very safe on the property and in the town!
4.7
Uniqueness of the suite. Shops in walking distance. Beautiful area.

A fantastic place to stay in the heart of Ocean Springs.
