Our stay was amazing. The cabin is beautiful, has a very cozy feel. The owners were great with communication. The only complaint we have was the driveway, it was very difficult to maneuver.

It was the most awesome experience they went above the best experience they made sure you have everything you needed. It was my 60th bday have a bouquet of flowers. They took of everything. Beautiful cabin. So clean. Information that we needed. I would highly recommend staying. We are gonna try and go back in fall with the leaves change. This is the place to stay. The river out your balcony seen a beaver 2 mornings in row and in evening 11 geese going down river. Highly recommend

Very peaceful cute little one room cabin overlooking the river. It was also very convenient to both GSMNP and Harrah’s. Day was super helpful and communicated often. I will definitely be back.

I attended the national convention of American Indians. Therefore, I had work to do on a computer during my stay. I sat on the balcony overlooking the river, and found it to be the ideal place to do a bit of work. I took a few minutes on my first night there, walked a few steps to the river, and caught a trout.
very close to the cherokee nation and the conference center at the casino hotel. It was wonderful.

My wife and I needed to unplug for a few days and decided on Cherokee, NC. We are from Kingsport, TN. We found this cabin and absolutely loved it. It's so cozy and secluded. Yet, still very close to everything Cherokee has to offer.
The cabin is very comfy and perfect for couples. It has enough room to stretch and has all the necessities. At the same time it's cozy and comfortable. It's on the river and has an awesome back porch/deck for sitting, viewing and listening to the water. We spent most of our time there. It also has a dock on the water, which is nice. If you wish to unplug and not be bothered, this is the place.
Day was very helpful and attentive. We appreciate her very much. She checked on us everyday through text. This experience was so refreshing. We will definitely go back in the future and we decided we will stay no other place. We really didn't want to leave but ya gotta adult. Thanks so much.

Great location- easy drive into Cherokee.
Cabin was beautiful and very clean. Loved the porch overlooking the river. Would recommend and hope to stay at this cabin again.

The view from the deck over the river is fantastic. Very cozy but perfect for just two people that will not be spending much time inside. The driveway would be the only concern. If it had been wet I don’t believe our rear wheel drive vehicle would have made it out.

Nice clean property I definitely would recommend

We had a great time! The cabin was so cozy and the private dock was awesome and Day was very accommodating. We look forward to visiting again.

Loved it

It was okay cabin was very clean. I have to say it was not what we expected was very small no table, no couch no where to put anything in the bathroom, it looked bigger online but overall the cabin was great, we did leave a day early to do some traveling.

The property drive is so narrow it’s dangerous…mountain on one side and drop on the other with just a decorative fence. You CANNOT walk to river it’s too steep and dangerous. Also it’s at a river location where it’s deep not babbling and looks swampy. Did I mention we had to go back into town and buy toilet paper as there was none. There’s nowhere to sit except on the bed. I could go on and on. We started to just go get a hotel but did stay albeit we left a day early because I hated it so much.

Contact property owner a week ahead of time to tell her about an emergency situation and that I know we could not have a refund but if we could change our dates. She never acknowledged or answered my request. I paid for this trip completely in July. My son almost cut off all his fingers on his left hand and we were in Grady emergency room said I would send pictures or doctors info. NOTHING from her.

Small, quiet getaway good for a couple to send some time together.

Loved the privacy very peaceful easy to relax and enjoy nature. The only disappointment was the website said there was a hot tub we really looked forward to that but no hot tub

Parking hard for a big truck. Didn’t realize no washer and dryer. Overall very cozy quiet location

I loved staying here… Day was amazing with communication! We woke up one morning to the power out and we had already received a text from Day explaining a limb had fell on the power line and a time when the power would be back on. It’s a great place if your looking for a small romantic get away. I will definitely stay here again!

Very peaceful and quiet!

Very clean, small, unit but perfect for our needs and the location central to access to GSNP. Got to see 33 elk just barely inside the park and one in Cherokee roaming around. We ate at a local mexican locale, very nice and once in Bryson City at the Iron Wok. Between the two go for the mexican, but the Iron Wok close runner-up. Would rent again.

Perfect location, precious atmosphere. Will definitely return!!!

Miss Day is a thoughtful person - her property reflects, no doubt, her good attributes. The cabin was welcoming and her communicating in checking in on us, from to time, felt sincere. Upon arrival the rain was pounding, the Oconaluftee River was high and beautifully raging. What a view from above the river under the covered porch! Evening prayers seemed more meaningful. Next day the sun was out - fishing and visiting the center of town was perfect. Evening was spent in prayer and watching so many fireflies. If you're looking to run away from chaos and such, contact Miss Day.

We were very pleased with cabin # 75. Great location and plenty of privacy. The cabin was clean, neat and beautifully decorated. Loved the fishing dock that was located just steps away from our cabin! We will definitely plan a return trip in the future. We would highly recommend. Our host Day, was easily accessible and very friendly 😊

Definitely smaller than I expected and could more accurately be described as a studio. It was cozy and comfortable for the two of us for two nights, but an extended stay would have been challenging. We enjoyed having easy access to the lake/river. Very conveniently located.

We were pleased to find how secluded the property was despite being close to other homes. It was wonderful being on the river and having the opportunity to fish whenever we wanted. This property was closely located to Bryson City and Cherokee which was ideal for dinner plans and souvenir shops. This was such a charming place and we will gladly visit again!

This rental cabin is a single room plus kitchenette and bath. There is a back porch overlooking the beautiful Oconaluftee River. On Friday night/Saturday morning the porch was really pleasant, all we heard was birdsong. Saturday evening/Sunday morning the house across the river was occupied and the sound really carries. Future visitors may want to be aware that the bed is full-sized and has a very soft mattress.

Property is a quaint small cabin for couples.

The Love Nest proved to be the perfect getaway for us! The cabin is absolutely charming in every way and we loved the porch overlooking the beautiful river. The property is conveniently located almost precisely between Cherokee and Bryson City with each being a short drive away.
Day was a wonderful host who communicated well and was very helpful.

Enjoyed the cabin. Midwinter not a good time to be there. I think it would be excellent in spring, summer, or autumn

This was an easy rent. The homeowner made it very nice and easy for us .
Well located for our Smokey visit

Must needed time away, exactly what my husband and I needed.

Loved the cabin! Super cute and the location is great. The host is great.

The cabin was described accurately. It was smaller than I thought it would be, but perfect for a couple. The river view was beautiful and it was very private.

The wildlife was amazing: elk, beavers, duck , geese, white squirrel! I sat on the floating dock every morning and it was so tranquil! The leaves had barely started to turn when I arrived but by the time I left 5 days later they had turned enough to make a beautiful scenery no matter which way I looked. One thing, if you wear make-up bring a lighted mirror with you. But I couldn’t have asked for a better place you stay !
