About this house rental
Our cozy Cannon Beach house, in the presidential area west of Hemlock, has a small peek of the ocean . We have a back yard with a bar-b-que and small sitting area. The front deck just right for reading a good book, eating, or or having a cup of coffee. and has a table with chairs. There is another table outside close to front door. The beach is at the end of the street.
We have a king, queen, and a bunk room with 3 beds. Living room has a beautiful new gas fireplace , flat screen TV, WI-FI, DVD and VHS.
We are walking distant to town for shopping, galleries, treats ,bookstore, dinner, or your favorite coffee shop.

We loved our stay here! The house is even better than the pictures. It has everything you could possibly need for a great vacation. Lots of fun and useful beach stuff in the shed. Comfy beds, plenty of towels & blankets, nice washer/dryer, detergent, dish soap, etc... Truly everything you need. Nicely updated. Very pretty, quiet, and relaxing back yard. Front porch is perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks.
The location is absolutely perfect. Very near the beach, and right in the middle of everything. Nearly the whole town, with it's great restaurants, breweries, shops, galleries, etc, is within a ten minute walk. Stock up on groceries at Fresh Foods just a short drive down the road (or just walk there on the beach!)

Our family of 5 stayed here for 5 nights. It was perfect for what we needed. Cozy (we used the gas fireplace every evening), comfortable (beds were great and the living room couch and chairs were all spacious and comfortable for lounging), plenty of room for everyone to have their own bed (kids loved the bunk beds) and dining area seated everyone. Kitchen is small but has everything you need. Having a washer & dryer was really helpful too. Amazing to be so close to the beach and also the town shops and restaurants.

We have stayed in many homes over the years for this holiday. It was a real treat to stay on a one level property with 2 bathrooms, secure off street parking for 2 cars and the beach Right There! Our group of 6 was comfortable and had all we needed.

This vacation rental really exceeded expectations. I didn’t realize we would only be 6 houses away from the beach! My kids went crazy over the opportunity to spend the night in a bunk bed, but in the end, one slept on a single twin, the other slep with me in the king size bed. There were so many amenities!!! I forgot to bring beach towels (if all things!) but there were towels to borrow in the laundry room. I wanted to build an epic sand castle. There was a beach shovel to borrow for that. My husband was craving pork chops. There was flour, salt, pepper, and oil so we didn’t have to go out and buy full sized containers of items we only needed a little bit of during our vacation. The living room was spacious and relaxing. There were so many options to sit and spend time outside. This was truly a perfect vacation! My only regret is that we never made time for my son to try out the scooter he spied in the shed.

This was our 2nd time at this cozy cottage and we will be back again! Can’t beat the location, easy walk to beach and town. Great set up for family, feels like home, and appreciate all the thoughtful extras like sand toys, marshmallow roasters, firewood for beach bonfires. Thank you Kathy!

Lovely little cottage near Haystack Rock
This cottage punches above its weight. This is our third stay at Cannon Beach, the first two at a nearby hotel. We have our daughter come over from Portalnd & this is the first time that she has her own bedroon away from our snoring, & her own bathroom.
I had my priorities taken care of with an easy chair, gas fireplace, & a distant water view.
The kitchen is well stocked. The washer & dryer work & it is an easy walk to the restaurants, grocery shopping, & heart of the village.
Kathy was easy to contact for any questions & quick to respond.
We will definitely return if the cottage is available.

Cozy house and kind host
We had a wonderful experience with this house! It is cozy and just as listed! Very clean and comfortable and SO close to the beach. I was also very impressed with the owner, Kathy who was so kind to us. Unfortunately our 3 year old got very sick and had to be taken by ambulance back in Portland. Kathy was so helpful and understanding. We had to leave the house dirty just so I could pack up my youngest and follow my husband and daughter as quickly as possible back up to Portland. I really appreciated her kindness given the situation. I would definitely book this house again. Thanks Kathy!!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving visit to this comfortable and well furnished Cannon Beach cottage. The beach and town are short walks away. The cozy fireplace was welcome during the windy and rainy days. We look forward to staying here again in the future, hopefully bringing our children and grandchildren along.

Perfect Spot!
We loved everything about our stay! Kathy was easily accessible for questions and the place was spotless! We used the provided bikes, beach toys, wagon and my 7 year old loved the scooter and bunk beds! Being 5 houses from the beach and walking distance to all the restaurants made getting around easy. The fireplace was great to have on the rainy nights and the recliner got a lot of use. Five star stay!!!

Best hidden gem in Cannon Beach
First of all, Kathy the owner is such a delight. The booking and check in process was clear and simple and our arrival was perfect.
Next the house, in the ideal spot on the President streets in Cannon. I forget that you don’t really want to be on Ocean Ave facing the water because of the wind so her placement a few houses down is ideal. Ample parking for 2 vehicles and their home was just the right size for our family of 4 + grandma. The house has great front and backyard spaces for our children to play while we dined al fresco.
Feeling pretty confident we used every thing the house had to offer and found it to be well-stocked for our needs. From a wagon and firewood to haul to the beach for bonfires, bikes to use on a jaunt to town, a small tube TV with VHS tapes for our kids to watch classics and the most charming croquet set that we enjoyed at length (especially grandma). The kitchen and bathrooms were extremely clean and the house was well organized.
We had an incredible time and we cannot wait to come back! Thank you Kathy for a great escape.

After a difficult year and a half of going practically nowhere, spending a week in our much beloved Cannon Beach was sorely needed and this house was a great host for our stay. It is very clean, homey, and the very epitome of a beach house. We all felt very comfortable there.

Perfect location
So many good things about this place. The bunk beds for the kids, the king bed for my tall husband. It was cozy and clean, and steps from the sand. We especially love the electric recliner, would love to know where we can get ourselves one of those! Thank you for renting us this wonderful place.

Fantastic cottage is steps from the beach. Well apportioned, clean and cozy. Fireplace was fantastic for the colder days. Very convenient to shops, restaurants and Haystack rock. Everything that we could have wanted was provided including bikes, yard games, firewood and roasting sticks for beach bonfires. Highly recommend!

This is a great find within walking distance of downtown, south beach amenities, and close proximity to the beach. The home was nicely updated without losing the Cannon Beach charm! The garden in the backyard is lovely. Lot's of room and ever so cozy! We plan to come back soon!

Another lovely stay
We chose to return to this property for our annual vacation during the pandemic knowing it would be a very different visit to Cannon Beach than in a normal year. We felt very comfortable having stayed in this home in the past and having had a good experience with the owner. She very clearly communicated months ahead of time how things were changing because of COVID, and made us feel comfortable knowing solid cleaning practices were in place. This property is sooooooo close to the beach and makes it so easy to pop down to the water for multiple visits during the day, while being close enough to run quickly back "home" if a kiddo needs the bathroom or a snack. We love it here, and can't wait to return again next year!

Great home super close to beach!
We had a wonderful stay on this property for our annual trip to Cannon Beach. Kathy was extremely responsive throughout the process, from booking to check-out. The outside of the home is beautiful, with multiple areas to sit, eat, and enjoy the blooming flowers. Inside, we had more than enough room for our family of 4, and everything we could need during our stay, including books and games for the kids. We loved the cozy beds and couches, the tasteful beach art, and fully equipped kitchen. Super close to the beach with lots of sand toys/chairs/etc. to use, and still just a short walk to town. Quiet and friendly neighbors plus dedicated driveway parking all cap this off as a near-perfect rental. We would definitely stay here again!!

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and comfortable and had every amenity we needed. We loved the different seating areas outside and felt that the house could definitely handle our two families. The shed out back was beyond helpful as we were provided a wagon, bikes, buckets, beach toys and even supplies for a bonfire. The location was also a major plus. A few mins walking to both towns and less than a minute to the gorgeous beach. . Thanks for a great stay!
