Tuck yourself away in the beauty of Bay Creek - a gated community. This spacious and charming, three-bedroom, 2.5 bath carriage house is located in the quiet village of New Quarter.The community has a private beach and pools. The golf course is private.

It has been furnished with everything you need to feel right at home, including a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen, vaulted ceilings, jacuzzi tub, washer and dryer, sunroom, semi-private patio, and professionally landscaped yard. There is plenty of room for friends and family with ample space for eight people.

Tennis courts and outdoor junior Olympic community pool and kids pool is within a five-minute walk or ride the one mile to the beautiful sand beach on the Chesapeake Bay. The tennis courts are fenced and available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Visit the Cape Charles Coffee House and shops on Mason Street and at the Marina. Biking, kayaking, and paddle boats (rentals available at the marina). The town has a 200-foot fishing pier for fishing, crabbing, or watching the world's most beautiful sunsets.

Two new attractions in Cape Charles include brewery and Cape Charles Distillery. The Irish Pub is a favorite spot for sipping your favorite ale or eating fish and chips. Join the locals on Monday night for a friendly game of darts. The Brown Dog Ice Cream shop serves home made ice cream all summer.

Travel up Route 13 to Onancock and take the Ferry to Tangier Island.Visit the National Wildlife Refuge in Chincoteaque and see the wild ponies. Other activities include harbor parties, decoy carving events, craft fairs, and pony penning. kayaking, ecotours and local events.

Take a 30-minute drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and enjoy such attractions as the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and oceanfront, golfing, the Marine Science Museum, MacArthur Mall, the Chrysler Museum, Nauticus Maritime Center, Harbor Park, and Waterside. Busch Gardens or Colonial Williamsburg are wonderful day trips from the shore.

Very lovely home and community, but after staying in this community for three years in a different house, this couldn’t compare. We felt like we were being watched by a neighbor or neighbors. First, we knew we couldn’t have our dog with us, so we had him boarded 20 minutes away, but wanted to have him with us at the beach some times during the day. Stopped at the house briefly (he was in the yard only) and one neighbor must’ve spotted him in the yard and reported to the owner and we were charged an extra $500! Upon talking to the owner, we got that straightened out when I told him our dog was being boarded. Another time we simply wanted to move our vehicles around, as the limit is three vehicles, with one fitting in the garage and two in the driveway. While shifting our vehicles around, we parked one vehicle in the neighbors driveway for a few minutes. Well, we again were told about that and explained the situation. And finally, we were accused of having a golf cart and canoe in the yard, when in fact, we don’t own one! We felt like we were being constantly watched and harassed, which put a damper on our vacation for sure. We were only there a week and to have to deal with this! Otherwise, we love Cape Charles.

Great location and property in Cape Charles. Lawrence was very responsive with a few questions and his place was great with everything you need. The one bedroom upstairs without a fan can get pretty warm compared to the house, but other than that it was perfect. We even rented a golf cart for the week and they were able to deliver and pick it up right at the house.

I have rented the Saratoga Charmer over several years. Lawrence’s home is warm and full of love. My family and I love its simplicity and beauty. It is open and just elegant. It is also spacious, comfortable and practical allowing for everything you need. I have recommended it to others. We hope to rent it again sometime in the near future. Greta

Had a wonderful time in Cape Charles with this rental! Downtown is a quick golf cart ride away and staying in Bay Creek was a wonderful experience! Host was very attentive and communicative ahead of arrival. Clean and lovely home.

We have stayed in Cape Charles often and this is our favorite place so far!! The pictures do not do this place justice- it is so nice!!! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. We did a puzzle on the big dining room table, worked remotely from the sunroom, and read a book on the back patio. Lawrence is an excellent host and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

This rental provided my family with everything we could have needed for a great getaway! The proximity to the pool and private beach were ideal! My kids loved being able to go between the two with ease! The amount of beds, TVs and space allowed for everyone to also have their own space when needed! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Due to sickness and family emergency, we had to cancel the morning of the trip. Our host Lawerence was very responsive and helpful. He kindly offered us another date later to visit. We appreciate his flexibility and look forward to our visit in September. We are very grateful!

Our stay at this spacious, well-equipped home was comfortable and quiet. Beach exceptional. The mattresses were largely unusually hard. The front door older digital locked failed while we were there. This was communicated to the owner who stated the neighborhood was safe and that the lock failure was an issue the prior week as well. We had to prop a chair under the front door handle to safeguard our belongings and protect their home. Additionally, we could not go to a planned nice dinner out during our last evening because of this issue and the owner’s inability to correct the issue. Little concern for this was extended, and I feel like a day’s refund should have been offered.

Very roomy and well-maintained home in Bay Creek. 6 adults and one toddler had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Great location with access to the pools and private beach. The host was very quick to respond. Pickleball lines on the tennis courts too! Will definitely stay at this property again!!

This was a great place to stay. It was about a mile drive to the beach but the beach was well kept and easy to reach. There was a flat walkway which made it very easy for one of our family that had just had a knee replacement to access the beach. The pools looked wonderful even though we spent our time at the beach. The property is closely located to Cape Charles downtown as well as Rt 13. Food Lion is only a few miles away for groceries. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The bedrooms were very clean and a good size. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Every review I read about this property was accurate. Allow me to elaborate with a few unexpected perks of staying here... They had extra twin mattresses in the (huge) closets. When my child got scared and wanted to sleep in our room, it was an easy decision. Great neighbors. We got to know the permanent neighbors and loved running into them on morning dog walks and in town. They were so welcoming. A GREAT back yard. We have stayed in a dozen Bay Creek properties, but the grill and patio combo was perfect. This will sound silly, but the ice maker could keep up with our needs. After filling out day time lunch cooler for the beach we could still make Margaritas at night (to take to the back yard and hang with the neighbors). We stay in Bay Creek a few times a year. This property has allot of space and is nicely appointed!
