Spent a week here with my wife and little dog. Nice, quiet neighborhood, with easy walk within the village to grocery, bars, wineries, restaurants and Leelanau Narrows. Property was clean and functional; fenced yard was great for the dog and us - we enjoyed mornings on the patio with coffee and spent an evening by the fire pit. Didn't use the upstairs - stairs are kind of steep. Location was great for visiting the wineries in Leelanau, and short, 5-minute drive to Sutton's Bay and Leland. Drove five minutes in the morning to Thompson Beach on Lake Michigan for morning walks with the dog. Overall, I would recommend this property, and will likely consider it again when visiting the area.

My mom and I had a great time staying here. The cottage is in a perfect location, in a small village that is walkable with a few restaurants and wineries you can walk to. Also, a grocery store down the street too that stays open until 8 pm.
Plus, near a bunch of beaches and not only Lake Michigan, but Lake Leelanua too. Lots to do in this area.
The chihuahuas enjoyed the vacation too -- they loved the big backyard.
We definitely plan to visit again and stay at this property.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage!! Full kitchen, large bathroom, and short walk to grocery and restaurants in Lake Leelanau Village. Perfect for our family and teenager. The owners are very hands-on and responsive. When I left an article of clothing behind, they graciously offered to mail back to me. We cannot wait to go back again!!

Lovely backyard with fire pit that we used every night. A very large bathroom and 4 bedrooms. Lovely kitchen and living room. Just perfect! We hope it is available next year!!!

Great location with easy trips to glen arbor, maple city, Leland, Sutton’s bay, and TC. Lake Leelanau
was nice too. House was adoptable, clean, and had everything we needed for a weekend fall color getaway.

We had a lovely stay at this property. It was so clean and very comfortable. Location was perfect for us. Quick and easy walk to Lake Leelanau restaurants and little grocery store. Super close drive to Leland and Suttons Bay. It was colder than usual for our trip, but the cottage was warm and cozy. Communication with the owners was great too. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying in this home. there were plenty of bedrooms for all of us to sleep comfortably. We are a party of Mom, Dad, 3-year-old, 1-year-old, Grandma and Josie. I slept upstairs, it was very comfortable, just be aware of the low ceiling coming up and going down the stairs. The kitchen was well equipped, and the house was very clean, and that trick bathroom door handle provided for lots of laughs. ;) The host is reachable if you need anything and will respond promptly to your questions or concerns. This house is located close to several wineries and just a short drive to Suttons Bay, and a 30-minute ride to Traverse City. Your greatest selection of restaurants nearby will be in Suttons Bay. If you stay at this house, I will only caution you about the strip of wood that transitions the kitchen to the living room, it's like a tiny ramp and it's very slippery. It didn't matter if I had socks, bare feet or rubber soled slippers on, I slipped on it several times and even fell once. The owner may want to think about some sort of gripping strips there, it may not be aesthetically pleasing but may help prevent others from falling and getting hurt. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and we would love to come back and stay again! Great property!!

The home was clean and well stocked with necessities for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the fenced in back yard for our small dogs to play and run off some energy.

This was a really nice place to stay. We have 3 kids and a dog and it worked out perfectly, we didn’t even use 2 of the bedrooms. Plenty of sleeping space. Cute little town but we found out the hard way that you need reservations at Nittolos so plan ahead if you want to eat there. House was well equipped with everything we needed. Would stay again for sure.

Perfect Location
Perfect location to get around the area. Fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Only minor complaint was that the living room furniture could/should be a little more comfortable to sit a night watching TV. Greg was a great host and made our stay a 5 star!

Unbeatable location
The house was perfectly located to access plenty of what the area has to offer. An easy drive to places like Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City, and an even easier five-minute ride to Sutton's Bay and Leland. It was our home base for a week of exploring the area. And, the dogs loved the big, fenced-in yard. Can't recommend it enough.

Provemont cottage.
All was well, only problem we had was the volume on the TV, and the dvd player was missing the remote control. nothing we could not live with though.

Nice spot
Great spot in town, close enough to walk to coffee shop, dinner and grocery store. Loved sitting by the fire out back at night. Across the street was a park that was perfect for the kids. We even had room to set up our pickle ball game.

Cute cottage
We thought that the cottage was prefect for the two of us with our 2 poodles. The place is an older home but has been modernized to the best standards. We liked the fact that the owners welcomed our dogs and the cottage has a fenced in back yard. Doug was available to answer any questions . Highly recommend Provemont Cottage.

Provemont Cottage
Awesome cottage in the center of the Leelanau Peninsula. Close to several wineries, beaches, and restaurants. The cottage is very clean and comes well equipped with everything you need for your stay. We've stayed multiple years now and it's been the same experience every time. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

Great stay
Convenient to many neat spots in northern Michigan (within ~10mins driving), but most of the restaurants and shops within walking distance of the house close around 6pm every night, so plan for that. Huge open yard was great for the dogs to play and relax in.

Family week away
What a wonderful week spent at Provemont Cottage. We had everything we needed to make the stay suitable for our family...plenty of space and right across the street from a park which was perfect for our toddler. Just a short drive to many of the area attractions on the peninsula, including wineries and beaches. We look forward to returning next year!

Leelanau get away for me and my dog, Oakley.
Cozy, charming home with a beautiful fenced yard for Oakley to enjoy. Went to Sutton’s Bay, Northport, Grand Traverse Lighthouse. Enjoyed Leelanau, Leland, Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear. Took some long walks/hikes, had beautiful weather and really enjoyed our stay. This home is a perfect up north get away for a solo traveler or a family.
