Great small cabin

Beautiful Cabin with alot of privacy we enjoyed the squirrel and bird food, very clean and everything was in working order.

Property was clean, spacious, and came with full kitchen. Huge downstairs bedroom. Steep driveway! Close to Bryson City and Cherokee shopping. Plenty of hiking and waterfalls nearby. No signal but Starlink provided. Would suggest installing a dead bolt on door to make guests feel more secure. Lastly, the email I recieved did not have pin for key lockbox. I contacted owner through phone number and he provided the pin.

2 couples enjoyed a week in this cabin. We found the location to be convenient - within 45 minutes of Fontana Dam, Bryson City, Joyce Kilmer Forest, etc. (remember it’s mountain driving). Cabin itself is isolated, and quiet. Owners provide clear instructions about what they do and don’t provide - take note! We appreciated the firewood and bird seed, little touches that made things pleasant.

Really needed to recharge. This was the perfect place for that. Loved the seclusion. If you're looking for privacy this is the place!

Well equipped, super private, clean, comfortable. Good for a family or just a couple. Hotop works great. Master bedroom have everything you need for a peaceful morning including coffee maker, mini fridge and a microwave. The house have everything you need to get away from the hustle and bustle. Driveway is pretty steep but doable, we hauled a motorcycle trailer and it was ok.

We booked this cabin for our fall vacation to the smokies... all of the communication was perfect, and when there was an issue with the electricity on site the owners were extremely accommodating and proactive in making our stay there the best it could possibly be! All amenities available were exactly as described, and the cabin was super clean. Certainly one of the absolute best cabins (and renters) in the smokies!!!!

Although there are other homes nearby, we felt we had the whole wilderness to ourselves. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful area. Lots of things to do in whichever direction you choose to drive! Had a wonderful honeymoon!

Very clean. Basement living area was very nice with the hot tub on the deck. We enjoyed the morning sun and the quiet wooded surroundings. Accessing the property was daunting at first, but quickly becomes familiar. Great location and area.

Loved the cabin, did not like the road leading to it.

The property feels remote but definitely is located in the perfect location! The wrap around deck is beautiful & makes you feel as if your sitting in the tree tops. The cabin was very clean & had everything we needed & more. The driveway is a little tricky but well worth it! We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone & would love to come back.

Our annual stay was once again amazing.. looking forward to next year already what a great Cabin with all the amenities. Thanks Tom and Faye!!!

Private location. Nice cabin interior style. Will return!
The hill IS steep, even for experienced riders (I'm guessing parts are greater that 10 deg slope). The more you ride it the easier it gets. There is parking at the bottom if it's too much for you. (Note; UPS truck driver brought his truck all the way up to the door for a delivery)

Cozy cabin in the hills, perfect for quiet nights to enjoy the smokey mountains and all they have to offer.

The cabin was isolated and clean, very pleasant stay. The only concern is the driveway is a little steep in a couple spots, we were in a Camaro and made it up but it was a little tiny scary, but again we made it up several times so just be prepared. The owner does recommend showing up the first time before dark because of this, and I thank them for that. The view was pleasant, plenty of room. The hot tub was different, I had never been in one like that before. Not bad, just different. Overall good property.

Let’s see, how many years now? Six years? Something like that… One of the best VRBO’s we have ever had. The driveway is steep, but if I can make it up there in a Mini Cooper you can make it. Always clean, always ready, the hot water is hot, the cold water is cold, the air and heat work, and the beds are comfortable. Be sure to read the lease agreement, guests are asked to bring their own paper products, so do come prepared. Wonderful place, great hosts.

All things about the house were great. It was clean and well cared for. It was lovely on site, lots of greenery, wildlife, and not much people activity. The road to the house is very steep, but the owner give very specific instructions on how best to negotiate it. Overall very nice

Driveway was part of the adventure. Overall great cabin for motorcycle trip. The driveway was steep but that’s how a lot of cabins in the area are. If experienced on a bike it’s no problem. Would leave trailer at the bottom parking area if I stay again.

This was a great spot to get away. The hot tub and fireplace were our favorite parts. Speakers were a great surprise! This cabin seems to be a place the owners use and care about and it shows. It was a great spot with fun roads to get you to the Tail of the Dragon or the Cherohala Skyway. We look forward to coming back if it is available!

Amazing cabin. Quiet area. Beautiful views. Clean and perfect size. So nice.

Tucked in the mountains, this property did not disappoint. Two fireplaces, one was propane run and the other wood. Plenty of firewood was provided. Perfect for a family get-a-way. The owners provided lots of instructions for what to expect, things to do and their expectations. The views were beautiful with plenty of windows. The hot tub was perfect for cold winter nights. Definitely recommend!

The cabin was wonderful with beautiful views all around. It was clean and had everything that we needed. Quiet and peaceful!
You can smell nothing but the fresh air and the sound of the nature all around. Staying in the cabin makes you realizes that's what life is supposed to be about quality time together and breathing fresh air. Thank you.

Very good experience with this rental, I have been coming to the area a few times each year since 2016, and this is likely my favorite rental house yet. Very clean and well kept, with good size rooms/beds and clean linens. Highly recommend it, i’m looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful, spacious home. Very clean & well stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Comfortable beds. Access road sketchy. Steeper than it looks. Stay to center of road & avoid shoulders. Secluded and super quiet.

We had a great time at this property. Check in process was easy, and the place was super clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and loved the location!

A clean organized vacation getaway that has about all one needs for an extended stay in the NC mountains.

Great little community, nice getaway retreat up among the trees. thank you Tom and Faye!

Nice, quiet cabin in the woods at the top of the mountain. We had a nice time and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit.

Beautifully furnished cabin
Go up a winding narrow road filled with rhododendrons to the top where the cabin sits. Easy access to both floors. Cabin was thoroughly clean from top to bottom, with every amenity, including a large supply of birdseed and corn for strategically placed feeders, also hummingbird feeders. We enjoyed watching the squirrels fight for the corn, and the variety of birds. It is secluded and quiet, ate at Lynn's Place in town, which was very enjoyable. Beds were comfortable, and overall we enjoyed our stay except for the power outage and loss of electricity, internet and phone due to thunderstorm.

Beautiful mountain getaway
My family and I had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and accommodated all of our needs. The owners were responsive and gracious hosts. Thank you for sharing your home!

Excellent cabin on top of the mountain
One of our best booking ever! The owner’s description is modest compared to what you get. The driveway is part of the fun—what an adventure. We had everything we needed and then some. Great location to explore the Smokies. The one regret is that we did not just spend a day at the cabin and kick back and enjoy the place. The owners communication was excellent. Thanks so much to them for sharing their cabin!!!

Great place to stay and close to Tail of the Dragon

We've stayed at this VROBO a number of times for over a decade, and keep coming back. Easily one of the best, if not THE best, VRBO properties we've visited. Clean, modern enough, capable internet in case business beckons, comfortable and peaceful. A wonderful retreat, and great hosts with prompt communication. 5/5 would recommend. Again. We will be back!

Great cabin
This cabin is well taken care of and has great amenities the drive up the access road is doable even in a lowered car

Beautiful view. Driveway was tough
The cabin and hot tub were amazing. Everything was very clean. We did notice that who ever used the pots and pans last did not clean them well and they had yellow crusty food on them( wasn't that big of a deal we always wash every dish before we use them anyway). Be aware that the Master bedroom is in the basement so steps are involved each time. I really wish the glass doors in the master had some sort of curtains you could pull I felt like someone could of been watching us at night and we would of never knew it. Also the first night we kept seeing a red flash outside of the master bedroom doors which freaked me out but my husband checked it out and it was just a thermometer. The worse part of the trip was the driveway it is very steep in the day time its not bad. I would not suggest coming up it the first time in the dark like we did. This cabin is also the 2nd to last on the mountain so you are on top of the mountain but the views are amazing. Overall amazing cabin
