Very good

A great place and beautiful, comfortable apartment with all the amenities one might need, including sauna. Checking-in and out was super convenient. The grocery store and several walks are a short walking distance away, and the gorgeous Saana river is right beside the housing complex.

The accommodation is in a duplex (a house with two apartments). The next-door neighbour has two dogs that barked one night almost incessantly (I assume because the owner wasn't at home). This woke us up several times that night. It wasn't an issue for the other two nights of our stay.

Exceptional

The kitchen was equipped extremely well. Even with the apartment on the main road and all the trucks using this road, it was exceptionally quiet. Wi-Fi was excellent. We came to see the Northern Lights, but it didn't happen while we were there. We definitely would come back to this apartment.

Truly an apartment for aurora viewing

I have stayed for more than a week at different areas in Lapland but this is the only place I saw northern nights. the highway E8 to Norway is one of the best places for Aurora viewing. The duplex apartment is new, modern, spotless clean, and comfortable. floor heating worked well. welcome Finnish chocolates, and very friendly owner. we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future. highly recommended!

Heaven

Everything. This place is amazing, will surely be back for longer stay. Location is excellent, apartment is excellent and list goes on as such. I extremely recommend to everyone to go and see, absolutely lovely place.

All the equipment were best quality. Apartment is nice and modern. Included Netflix and HBO access was a nice suprise.

Excellent apartment and value, clean and well equipped. Makes a positive difference with fresh style to traditional "Lapland cottages". Stunning wiews.

Very comfortable apartment near everything in Kilpisjärvi

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The beds were very comfortable and the temperature could be adjusted for each room separately. It was nice to use the sauna and go to the balcony to cool down. The place also had 4 pairs of snow shoes and we used them go up the Saana fell. There were also other trails starting nearby. The communication with the hosts was easy and timely. Overall the place was even nicer than we thought based on the pictures. We would be happy to return.

Exceptional

Lovely location plus the apartment is beautiful. Easy to use sauna, large comfortable bed and a grill outside. Everything you need for a short or long stay. We went on a tour of Northern Norway and tried to book this again on the way back but someone beat us to it :(

Your absolute best place to stay when in Kilpisjaervi!!!

The super well equipped apartment, the excellent instructions by the owner, the high quality and super comfortable beds, the wonderful kitchen, the in-house sauna, the cleanliness of the place, the magnificent veranda to watch the Northern Light.. In short, wonderful!

Nothing; all was picture perfect!
