Come make memories at the 6,600 sq. ft. Lakeshore house! Our spacious yet intimate, bright and modern home on the North end and East shoreline of Gull Lake is uniquely equipped to handle your large family, or multiple families, in a single house.
MAIN LEVEL
A welcoming foyer and a functional mudroom (off the garage) greet all who enter, but the expansive views of Gull Lake really steal the show. Everyone seems to gather in the kitchen, and you will love the hub of our home. Double ovens, double refrigerators, double dishwashers and a 10 foot island help this kitchen handle everything a big-group can throw its way. With an adjoining screened-in porch as well as a sunny great room with electric fireplace and 65" television, there is plenty of space for everyone. A TV/exercise/playroom is just off the great room, but still private with its frosted-glass French doors. Grab a book and enjoy the gas fireplace in the reading room/office, also off the main-level great room and separated by frosted-glass French doors. Both the great room and the reading room access our Westerly-facing deck. Step outside to fire-up the BBQ or just enjoy a beautiful up-North sunset. The half-bath rounds-out the layout of the main level.
UPSTAIRS
The "treehouse" with its two ensuite bedrooms awaits those who enjoy the perch. Our roomy primary suite overlooks the lake but is a private sanctuary. An additional ensuite with two twin XL beds is down the hallway and enjoys a view of the wooded East side of the property. A storage closet with washer and dryer complete the upstairs level.
LAKE LEVEL
This is where the fun is! Our convenient lake-level walkout lets you stay close to all the action of the lake. Facing the lake are three (3) bedrooms - 1 king, 1 queen + 1 California king. The California king room in an ensuite, while the other two share (along with the bunk room) the hall bathroom and the shower room. The interior bunk-room with its walk-in closet is the perfect place for those late-sleeping teenagers. Cards, dice, board games, and a television are available in the wet bar/game room for those late summer night gatherings. The unique shower room with its double sinks is the perfect place for a quick shower after a fun day in the sun. Throw your suits and towels in the laundry room right next door and enjoy the evening. The lake level sunroom is spacious enough to store all your water and sand toys.
OUTDOORS
Feel free to take out our two paddle boards and explore the bay. Plenty of parking is available in the driveway at the mail level with additional parking in front of the road-side garage. The gentle elevation of the lake-side of the property makes it easy to get back-and-forth from the dock to the house when necessity strikes. Our little sand beach and gently-sloping, sand bottom swimming area is perfect for all ages. Ample dock space is available to tie-up your boat or other water toys. A rock fire-pit with Adirondack chairs is the quintessential way to end those long summer nights.
100' lake shore with long, private dock
walk-in swimming area with gradual slope - perfect for little kids
we have a crib (easy assembly) with all bedding as well as a high chair and booster chair
We're sure your family will enjoy the Lakeshore house as much as our family has for the short, yet memorable, time she's been ours.
A Rental Agreement requiring signature will be sent upon booking.
As per Lake Shore city ordinance, our home can only be rented six (6) times a year at a minimum of one (1) week each rental period.

Our extended family of 12 spent a week at the cabin over the 4th of July and had a wonderful time. The cabin was big enough for all of us, and we especially liked that there were bathrooms for all of us. The kitchen is quite large and handled our group just fine. We enjoyed the fires at the fire pit in the evenings, although the fire ring does need enlarging which we understand is going to happen. Thanks for letting us share your lake home for the week!

Jenn was an excellent host, keeping us up-to-date and very responsive to questions we had prior to the visit. Great house layout and wonderful for children. Playroom was a big plus; sunsets were beautiful and the screened in porch was a great place to spend evenings. Fun for the entire family ages 18 months to 68.

We had the best time at the Lake Shore cabin! It was exactly what we hoped and were able to make amazing memories with our family and friends. Jenn was so easy to work with. The house is beautiful and set up perfectly to enjoy time by yourself or with others. We cannot wait to come back!

We had a such a magnificent stay at this property. The owners were kind and responsive to any questions that came up. The house is absolutely gorgeous and just as pictured. There were 5 adults and 3 children staying and we had more than enough room for us all. We had fantastic meals in the beautiful and plentiful kitchen and really enjoyed the open floor plan of the main floor. The basement was perfect for our kids and guests and the master suite was just perfect. There's really not a space in the home you won't love. Outside we enjoyed spending time in the screened in porch and played by the hour down by the water.
The property was conveniently located close to a public water access and just a short boat ride to Zorbaz and other fun establishments along the water.
This rental was everything we could have wanted and more. Most definitely an absolutely wonderful vacation full of memories that will last a lifetime.

Amazing House on Gull Lake
We stayed with two other families and this house on Gull Lake is by far the best spot we’ve ever rented from up north! Absolutely beautiful property and the layout was perfect so every family had their own spot in the house. Jenn and Tony (the owners) were great to work with and we can’t wait to come back next summer!!

Land-of-lakes paradise
This house is large, beautiful, modern, updated, and comfortable and, best of all, is right on the shore of the gorgeous and huge Gull Lake. Most rooms have a panoramic view of the lake as do the decks. The open air deck is best for the day and to bbq, and we loved the screened-in deck, with its comfy couch and chairs, to watch moonlight on the lake water. The two-fridge, two-sink modern kitchen has everything you need and the largest kitchen island we had ever seen. The beds are super nice and there are two sets of washers and dryers. You have a private and shaded small beach, an outdoor fire pit, and a nice and sturdy private dock. We had a fantastic time with our family - can't wait to return!

Wonderful home and location for a big group
The house is gorgeous - clean and tastefully decorated throughout. The photos on the listing are true to life. It has a giant kitchen with two fridges and dishwashers, a huge center island, and is fully stocked with all the pots, appliances and utensils you will need. The house is designed so it’s easy for people/groups to find space for themselves. The screened in porch is perfect and we spect lots of time there. The deck has a big outside dining table and a nice gas grill. The western exposure offers beautiful views of the sunset every night. The surrounding woods are filled with deer for viewing on your evening walks. The dock was easily big enough for our pontoon and jet ski. The water off the dock is weedy so we took the pontoon out to swim. The house is minutes from a grocery store and from downtown Nisswa, which has lots of nice shops and restaurants. The owner, Jenn, is very responsive, professional and friendly. The place was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again. My one suggestion for improvement would be to make some mattresses toppers available as our group found some of the mattresses a bit too firm. Book with confidence — you won’t regret it!

Perfect house on Gull Lake
Our family had a fantastic week at the Lakeshore House. The house was in great condition and the layout was perfect for the twelve of us (three generations), providing many different spaces to gather together or get away for some quiet time. The house is situated perfectly towards the end of a beautifully wooded and quiet lane, on the Northern end
of Gull Lake, looking West to take in the incredible sunsets. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We hope to return in the future and would definitely recommend this vacation home to our friends.

Lakeshore House
The house was excellent and everything we expected. Perfect location on the lake and plenty of room for our family. Swimming off the dock isn’t really feasible as the entire thing is surrounded by very tall dense weeds. This wasn’t really an issue for us as we usually took our boat out on the water for swimming anyways. Everything about the house was perfect. We had a minor delay in getting into the house at check in but this was quickly resolved. Overall a great experience.

Dream house on the lake
This home is absolutely stunning with its updated decor. The owner Jenn was super easy to work with - she responds almost instantly and is very helpful on any questions. The home is huge and had plenty of room for our entire family to spread out. I rent a lot of homes, and this one is better equipped with anything you need than almost any other one, particularly in the kitchen - whatever utensil or appliance you need, it's there! (even spices!) We rented a boat and wave runner and were able to keep it at the dock. The air conditioning had a little trouble keeping up at times, but it wasn't a major deal to us. I think the one thing that could make the home better would be a big outdoor dining table. Our favorite part of the home was the screened in porch, where we spent a ton of time! Thank you Jenn for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Gull Lake Family Fun
This house is absolutely amazing. It was the perfect size for our group of 11. All the amenities were just as advertised and then some. I highly recommend this house if you are looking for a great place for a large group. There is even a play room fully stocked with loads of toys which our 5-year old played with non-stop. There are hand weights and yoga mats which we used almost every day for family workouts. The owner was extremely responsive and the property manager lives right next door which was convenient. You could not go wrong if you choose this home for your next vacation at Gull Lake.

A little piece of heaven!
This lake home is absolutely gorgeous! My family (husband and 3 boys) favorite spot was the screened in porch overlooking the lake. It's a perfect spot for morning coffee or card games after dark. The boys loved sleeping late in the bunk room together. I actually enjoyed cooking in the stunning kitchen. This lake home has a perfect, central location on Gull Lake. Easy boating to resturants like Ernies and Zorbaz and the boys favorite the Chocolate Ox at Grandview. We rented our pontoon from Lake Fun Rentals, I highly recommend them. Just south of the lake home are some back channels that are perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. We saw tons of deer, loons and a bald eagle! The location is also perfect for swimming off the dock during the day and fishing early morning or late evening. We will definitely be back!!!

Great family reunion spot
My extended family spent last week at Jenn & Tony's home in Nisswa. We had a wonderful visit and thoroughly enjoyed the home. The house has been recently renovated and looks like an HGTV success story--a truly gorgeous home, especially the kitchen! We really appreciated the kids playroom and kids accessories (high chair, crib, utensils, etc).
I think the downside for us was the lack of a large, flat backyard. The hill made it a little hard for outdoor games but our little ones were on the beach and in the water the entire week. The fire pit could be bigger/smoother as well. However, the long dock made it possible to tie up two boats which was awesome.
The home is enormous but unfortunately due to some local city laws you cannot have more than 12 people stay in the home. The rules are quite strict on this point.
If you're looking for a beautiful home close to everything Nisswa/Gull Lake has to offer, I think this home is a great choice for you.

Perfect fit for our family gathering
Our family of 8 adults and 6 little kids all enjoyed our stay at this spacious, nicely decorated home. It has a clean, crisp, uncluttered ambiance. All the amenities we needed were there and then some. Having 2 dishwashers was unexpected but proved to be very handy.
The shallow water and beach play area were perfect for our little ones.
We’ve rented quite a few vacation properties over the years, this one was our favorite ! We hope to be back next summer.

Beauty and serenity on Gull Lake
The house was even better than expected! It was very comfortable, beautifully designed and newly refinished with thoughtful details throughout that made a big home feel cozy and warm. We loved the decor and style. The convenient location was an added bonus. We felt like we were at a secluded retreat, yet we were 10 minutes from adorable downtown Nisswa and great restaurants on the lake. Jenn and Tony were great hosts and quick to respond to our questions. We will definitely return and highly recommend!
