A nice place in a great location! The place is a bit dated but we knew that going in. Everything works, it was clean and David was a pleasure to deal with. Had a memorable stay. Thanks David!

Awesome Gull Lake location.

Very clean and great location on Gull Lake. Close to Nisswa, Zorbaz, Bar Harbor. Calmer part of the lake makes docking the boat less stressful when there is weather.

Excellant spot as this is our 2nd time staying here. Flat lot and minimum steps helped me and my 2 brothers have an easy time of it. Loved it!

Great location, loved hanging out by the water. The inside is a bit dated but everything was fully functioning. Also we spent most of our time outside.

If you own a boat and are looking for lakeside property with a dock this is it! Boat launch walking distance of property. A short slow boat ride to Zorbas and a steakhouse. Upper part of Gull lake which allows you to take the relaxing boat ride through several smaller lakes on your way to the Roy Lake sandbar which is more calm and less windy than the main sandbar on Gull near Ernie’s. Kids loved it both caught several 2-3 on bass right off the sandbar which has crystal clear water.
The property itself is older and has that cabin feel which was great. The backyard butts right up to the water and has a great level spot to play bags right along side the lake. The water off the dock is soft sand with a few weeds but nothing sharp and feels good on the feet. It stays pretty shallow for several dozen feet off the dock perfect for kids swimming. We mentioned we liked having a lot of fires and David stocked up the wood rack with plenty for the whole week!
Also good location for boat watching as they come in and out of the main part of gull lake. During the weekend it seemed almost nonstop boat traffic which is fun to watch and hear.
Dock posts have rubber padding to help protect your boat from all the traffic. Tie it up correctly and with bumpers in the right spots and you’ll have no issues.
Will definitely stay again in the future! The best family “cabin” lakeside vacation we’ve ever had. The only part we didn’t like was leaving.

Property was perfect for our family as it was my wife and I and our 10 year old son. Son was able to fish off the dock. Our friends were able to boat over as well and hang with us. Older home, but we loved that!!!

This is a great property and great location. Dave is a nice and responsive host. My wife always says that no bedroom or bathroom pictures is a red flag, but this was a guys family fishing trip so we risked it. All were clean and comfortable and commensurate with a well-maintained home built in 1973. Planning to go back next year

Great location!

We had a great week, the location is perfect, neighbors were very friendly we would and will stay here again. One improvement would be to add a boat lift as the larger boats coming out of the channel can create some large waves and the boat rocking against the dock is about the only thing I didn't like.

lake life
This is a great location on Gull Lake, lots of wildlife, quiet neighborhood. The home is older and could use some updates, but has a very cozy, cabiny feel and was very clean and well equipped.
