This was a fun little place with lots of character. We had fun having a slumber party up in the spacious loft! It's on a very pretty lake.

Overall Nice
Very nice, very safe, simple older lake house. Husband freaked out about the arsenic in the water, but relaxed enough to not get a hotel. Culligan name showed up and fresh water to cook/eat was plentiful)
We enjoyed out stay. Very quiet, Very peaceful. Fire pit was a huge hit.
Things that could be better:
-One pillowcase was soiled,
-1/2 the towels were dingy or had marks/stains on them
-A few dead bugs on kitchen window sill
Neighbors seemed cool and property manager was easy to get a hold of with fast responses.

Loon Landing was the perfect place for relaxing on the lake! We enjoyed being close to the Paul Bunyan Trail and watching the sunsets from the back deck. So many entertainment “extras” were provided: kayaks, bikes, yard games, books, puzzles, etc., no one ever got bored! The extra bathroom in the bunk house added convenience. Although our group was small, this would be a definite bonus for larger groups. Although the kitchen area was small, it was very well stocked. Loon Landing is definitely a gem!

Perfect getaway
My husband, teenage son and I had an excellent stay in this lakeside cabin. This was our first VRBO experience, so we weren't quite sure what to expect. It was exactly as stated in the listing. The cabin had everything that we needed and then some, it was clean, quiet and relaxing. The lake was calming and enjoyable, with spectacular sunset views. It was exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day work, school and activities.

Beautiful spot on Lake Bimidji
Loon Landing is a beautiful spot for a Minnesota getaway. It is right on the lake and feels remote, but the conveniences of downtown Bimidji are minutes away. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock; I revelled in sitting on the deck, listening to the water, and reading a good book; and we both enjoyed close proximity to the bike path for walking and biking. (And no bike rental necessary, as there are quality bikes available on the property!) The owner was very accessible and helpful, and the property was well supplied with towels, linens, and kitchen items.

Great location
We had an great time. Bemidji and at the lake. Perfect location. The bikes and floats are ready to use.

It was really spacious and cozy!
We had a wonderful time at this cabin. We didn't get to enjoy the lake for to the rain and cooler weather, but we had a wonderful time paying board games inside and spending time with each other. The only problem was figuring out the car situation as they're are only two places to park.

Super sunsets
Great location. Close to biking and jogging paths. For kayakers, easy access to Mississippi River. Great screened porch to view the lake and lake birds. Cabin was well supplied for our needs.

Nice Place, Great Price
This is a lovely and comfortable cottage on the eastern shore of Lake Bemidji. Spacious yet cozy with plenty of spaces to relax together or apart. A nice TV but a bit disappointing that there was not a DVD player so we bought a cheap one of our own, which with 4 kids did save the day. A movie at the end of a long day outdoors is a good way to wind down. Two kayaks and bikes available with nearby paved trails that you can ride for miles, literally. A quick and easy ride into Bemidji for supplies. Clean and quiet. Laundry on site. Separate bunkhouse with two beds for your older kids. Very reasonably priced. The owner was easily accessible and responsive throughout the week. The permanent neighbors on either side were friendly and helpful. Beautiful sunsets.

Nice cottage for family weekend
The house and amenities were as described by the owner and in other reviews. The house provided a comfortable place for our family. The location is beautiful - right on Lake Bemidji. We enjoyed playing in the lake and watching sunsets from the dock and the sunroom. Kelly was also quick to respond to questions in the booking process and during our stay. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

Nice home
Taking a vacation Up North for Memorial Day weekend is always a gamble with the weather. We were delighted the temps were warm enough to not require the heater which we had to turn off due to a propane smell (leak was fixed on Sunday morning). The dock was not put in yet so our entrance to canoe & kayak were challenging. Fishing did not happen but the water was too shallow even if dock was there so not really needed. Rooms were great & space was adequate for our large teen family needing space and grandparents wanting their own. The loft was not really suitable for sleeping as there was no way to put clean linens on the large (non regular size) foam mattress. We did not use but wasn't needed. Kitchen was good with most things we needed, except a toaster. Again, nothing we couldn't live without. the location was great for our purpose, the fulltime neighbors were pleasant and Kelly was very responsive to our concerns at checkin. I would stay here again while visiting my family (only 3 miles away) and the bike trail being 100 feet away. It was a good first time user experience.

Beautiful lake views, and a nice lake cabin
Had a great stay at this location. Nice lake views with a dock to walk out on and enjoy. Cabin was cozy and kept us dry during the rains we encountered. Front glassed in front room is perfect for watching the lightning across the lake at night (or anything during day as well). Plus a large outdoor porch to sit on in nicer weather as well. Bedrooms were as listed, no issues with water pressure, heating, etc.. We were quite pleased with it, especially given the pricing.
The bunkhouse isn't winterized, so while it wasn't really that cold when we were there, and there was an electric heater that seemed to work VERY well in the bunk area, the concrete floor in the bathroom may be a tad cold in the colder months. Being from Phoenix, I actually enjoyed it being cooler for our visit.
It matched our "lake cabin" expectations very nicely. I'd recommend it highly, and would stay there again.

LOVED IT!
This cabin was as advertised and better. In addition to what was published, we had kayaks, bikes and other outdoor equipment for our use. The lakeside fire pit was used almost every night we were there, it was so peaceful! There is a great trail that surrounds the whole lake - 17 miles in all I think, there's the state park just to the north and my 7 year old and I rode our bikes to town for ice cream and the park - really a great location. We also made a stop at the local brewery and tap house which had great food too. Kitchen was well equipped, to include actual non-stick pans (not the cheap kind that will kill your over-easy eggs) and sharp knives! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars - we didn't have a supply of cooking/drinking water available when we arrived, and had to make a trip into town to pick some up. Kelly was super responsive and helpful, if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be looking to stay here again. Great time!

Loon Landing and the 85th. Birthday Celebration was outstanding.
This was a very special weekend stay for us at Loon Landing...Aug 5-8, 2017. We were able to have our three kids and three grandkids all together to celebrate their Dad/Papa's 85th. Birthday. The cottage was perfect and well equipped and at no time did we feel crowded...great when there are eight people. The bunk house really helps for extra space and washroom facilities. Our son brought his boat and sea do, so the dock was perfect, we also enjoyed having the two kayaks. Thankfully we had beautiful weather so the large deck was perfect for our group. We would not hesitate to have another family get together at Loon Landing. Special thanks to Kelly for sharing her home and a very special thanks to Lecia for saving the day upon our arrival. The perfect 'up-north' cabin experience!
Darling little cottage with brand new bath, carpet, paint. In kitchen dining and nice, new deck on lake side. New charcoal grill and plenty of kitchen equipment for your use. Recommend bringing extra bath towels, tissue, paper towels, and deck chairs. The sleeping loft is perfect for kids and their sleeping bags!

Wonderful place!!
The property and cabin were amazing. Only not giving it 5 stars because of weather and nuisance/uncontrollable issues.

Stunning sunsets
We were the very first guests on this lovely property. The quaint little cottage with much attention to decor had surprises all over from art on the walls, coasters with clever sayings and adorable pillows. Sleeps more than the recommended 6 easily because of the loft for 'kids'. My big kids fought over that space! Right on the water, we were able to take beautiful photos, access the bike trail just steps away, and host Kelly was just a text away. We will seek this property out again when we visit the area.
