Nice clean comfortable home with great views of the lake from the pool deck. The owner was friendly and helpful in all the communications.

The house, for us was good value A good location, Lots of living space, especially the master bedroom and ensuite, with a wonderful pond full of wildlife in the back. The house was quite dated, not good for children as it has light coloured carpets, no heat in the pool and the pool decking was tough to walk on. For 1 or 2 couples it would be a lovely, quiet get away

Great place to stay center location and very clean and convinient.

We stayed at this property after hurricane Ian, what a relief to have Air conditioning in a hot shower. The owner was super accommodating and always responsive. The Lake outback and all the wildlife was serene and wonderful! Nice neighborhood and great neighbors.

Great location, good value
We enjoyed our stay! The pool is great and the backyard overlooking the pond/lake is so serene and there are so many types of birds, it was fun to relax outside. The proximity to downtown was really great too! The house is well maintained but not updated/modernized, enabling it to be rented at a reasonable rate and making it a good value for Naples.

Nice home
The hone was very nice, clean and affordable. The pool and Patio area was our favorite place to sit, eat and relax. The owner did not communicate well. We had no instructions as to how to get in. We stopped when they were cleaning to get some direction. The owner finally got in touch after I emailed and after I talked to the property manager. Very few instructions as to how to leave the place when we departed.

Cute house, great location. Pool is nice but not heated. The lake is very nice. House needs some improvements but a good value

Peaceful stay
We had a lovely time here. We were able to eat on the patio and watch the ducks and birds swim in the lake and walk up to the back of the lanai. It was big enough for us and our 4 kids. We were just a short drive from the Delnore-Wiggins State Park beach and the rest of Naples. We will definitely be back!

Everything was OK except there was no heat in the pool and I was really looking forward to doing in a pool that wasnât ice cold.

Outdated, nonfuntioning, and dangerous
Broken ottoman, (owner blamed us though obviously repaired previously), nonfunctioning dryer, icemaker, garage opener (asked to park in garage requiring opening and closing from interior; new battery not the issue), cooking pans broken or scratched beyond use, nails sticking out of carpet (owner requested we not wear shoes in house; child requires tetenus shot), no toilet paper or soap. Bugs. Tiny stone surface around pool are lifting and in the pool. All appliences are original from when house was built ('80's) except stove. Most bath towels thin & torn. No wash cloths. Pillows flat. Pot under bathroom sink. (Leak?) MORNING OF DEPARTURE, MET CLEANING SERVICE MANAGER. SHE CONFIRMED THAT ALL DEFECTS HAVE BEEN RELAYED TO THE OWNER NUMEROUS TIMES. Photos & video proof available.

Awesome stay!
We really enjoyed our stay! Nice home in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Short drive to the beach and downtown Naples! Couldnât ask for a better stay! Owner was so kind and quick to respond.

Lakewood house
Close to everything! Beach, shopping, restaurants all convenient, but in a quiet neighborhood.
Needs a few repairs. Garage door opener didnât work. Sliding doors out to pool difficult to lock.
No trash bags provided or dish cloths or towels for kitchen. Other than that that, great vacation spot.

Nice and comfy stay
Appreciate all the help that Carolyn gave us since we arrived late. Enjoyed the pool especially during rainy days we canât go to the beach. The house is situated in a very quiet neighborhood. My kids had so much fun with our stay. Weâll do it again.

Good home for the price
We are from Naples but moved away 2 years ago. We were familiar with the area which is close to everything. The house doesnât not have any of the essentials- dish or hand soap in the bathrooms, toilet paper etc. Also, you have to purchase your own gas for the grill, which Iâve never heard of. Been renting many homes with VRBO and that was a first. The house is older/outdated but very comfortable. In the third bedroom is a smaller bed and only one adult would be able to sleep comfortably. One recommendation I have is to have a book available for guest so you can see the check in and check out procedures and expectations. I was told an email was sent with that info but I never received it. Also I wasnât able to contact the owner with the email from the website. Good house for the price.

What a great stay we had in your great home!!!
The house was roomy and clean in a great location! Close to Naples pier, 5th Avenue and Marco Island!!! Publix is a mile up the road and the beach is 10-15 minutes drive Away. You cannot beat the price and the care the owners give to be sure everything runs smoothly! We will definitely stay again!!!

Very cozy home with a great view!!
After reading some of the reviews I was very much nervous for my trip. Arriving at the home it was clean and as advertised. My communication with the owner has been spot on,
She was very responsive to all my questions and concerns.
Once I was at the home I realized most of the reviews are people nit picking and being petty wanting a million dollar home on a malt beer budget. I will stay here again. I completely recommend this home for families with kids of all ages and adults who are just wanting to relax.
It was so peaceful.

Below Expectations
- [ ] Thermostat needed batteries. It took us 2 hours of no A/C to figure out the issue. Property manager was not returning calls. When I finally reached her she had no idea what I was talking about.
- [ ] Ice maker doesnât work. Property Manager is going to have it fixed after we leave. They knew this from previous renter.
- [ ] Garage door rarely closes first time
- [ ] No washcloths
- [ ] No kitchen towels
- [ ] Screen door locks need oil, they stick badly. We almost got locked out of the house.
- [ ] Sliding glass door in small sitting area doesnât lock at all
- [ ] Faucet in small bathroom has no aerator, so when used the water splashes all over you.
- [ ] Pool had a note that said cleaned on 5/6, but it was full of bugs when we got here 5/7.
- [ ] Notified Property Management of medicine left by previous tenant
- [ ] Notified Property Management of brand new empty purse left by previous tenant
Check in process not intuitive to first time VRBO renters
Inconvenient to have to put car in garage without garage door remote
House is fairly dated and appliances are outdated. Price per night was somewhat high for outdated residence.
Third bedroom has no closet. No place to hang clothes!

Average/Do-able
Not much updated in interior. Very old and out dated. Smaller bed and no closet in 3rd bedroom. Cleaning service needs to do a better job. Ice maker didn't work, garbage disposal didn't work. The front door lock is outdated and you need a key to get in. All the door locks are outdated. No garage door opener or keypad. The screened in pool area is always nice and the nature pond behind. Garbage cans have no tops on them. It just seems there hasn't been any money put back into the place for quite some time. Owner has German contact number, no U.S. contact number.

It was lush it was tropical it was Florida and I felt very comfortabl
I saw reviews that complained that the house was dated. If you want the taj Mahal go somewhere else and pay the price. The house was perfect for our trip. We had an 8 year old that could watch TV we could have privacy. Only less than perfect comment I can give is... The owners should add something like a solar blanket for the pool. It never warmed up enough for the adults to get into the pool. Even the 8 year old would get in but he wouldn't stay long. Temps were in the mid to upper 70s, 80 the last day we were there. I would definitely rent this property again, good value for the money.
Ps. Owner is in Germany and was a bit difficult to get ahold of prior to our stay. We had one question while there and she answered immediately.

Comfy and quiet
We were so comfortable here. The house is much larger than it appears in the pictures. Their is three sliding glass doors out to the lanai, made it so open and airy. The two living rooms are unique. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The pool was cool, as it is not heated. Warm weather will help Iâm sure, we had some cold nights. We brought our keurig coffee maker because we prefer it. It doesnât have a smart TVs though, so if you need that, your on your own. Thatâs anything negative I had. It was a very nice vacation here. The location is Awesome too. Quite close to downtown. We loved it!

Family vacation
A person came knocking on the door wanting personal information and asking who we were and why we were there, we gave him no information he called the police, as if we had no business there we gave them our information and they left. Also we forgot our Karaoke machine I brought it to the attention of the owner and got no response

Getaway vacation
Before we arrived, we were informed the prior guests had partied too much and had the police called on them and were warned to not be problematic. Warm welcome indeed.
Upon arrival noted stained carpet ( due to prior guests?) and little wall damage...took pictures in case to show not due to us. .
Pool is nice, beds ok.
No toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap...so bring your own.
TV did not work but internet did.
Forget about getting any support from host. She is in Germany and does not respond or care.
Near the beach (7 minutes) qhichcis very nice and publix and restaurants are not far.
My son, who has slight allergies/ asthma, had a case of asthma due to carpeted house which tells you how clean the carpet is.
In a COVID world, this did not meet our standards, but it is not a bad place either. Will never come back, but it is cheaper than other houses with a pool.

Great location and setting
Place was as advertised

Unable to use pool because of duck feces.
There was no screen above the pool allowing the large ducks roosting over the pool to use the pool as their toilet. The beds were hard and we had to sweep all the cobwebs off the lanai before we could use it. The gas grill was thilthy and the LP tank was empty. The home had good location and a fairly good layout but could you some updating.

Not like the pictures... there is no mosquito net around the pool so its full of mosquitos
The house was not clean at all... we had to get there and vacumm ourselfs with a vacum cleaner we had to clean of how dirty it was..
Be carefull for this is false advertising.. there is noo mosquito net around the pool it is all broken so its full of bugs. They had clearly not had pest control in months for it was unacceptably full of spiders and we even had a fight with a rat when taking the trash out..
The owner didnt care she kept saying it was normal.. would not recomend this house at all!!

We felt right at home. Great location, clean and comfy. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful vacation home, new refunished, new pool, great location, close to the beaches and 5th Avenue, nice contact with owner. We have booked for 2018.

The house was lovely and we enjoyed staying within a ten minute drive to the beach.

Beautiful location
My wife and me, we have been coming to Naples for the last 15 years, over this time we have had stayed at different places. Lakewood seemed very secure and the regulars that lived all year round were very friendly and helpful. The ground itself is lined with hedges and trees, and kept meticulously clean.
The owner, Carolyn, had refurnished the vacation home and was very modern. The pool deck was very comfortable, also the pool room with two nice sofas to relax in after your day out to look forward to. The master bedroom was humungous and the massive new bed was so comfortable.
All the comforts you need, bit like home from home. If you are off to the beach there are chairs that you can use. Don't forget the amazing pool and I mean amazing

Do not go here
House on busy 'rat run' road.
Owner typically takes one week to reply to emails, if ever.
The emergency contact person was away on a cruise.
There is only one house key. We did ask for another but owner did not reply and emergency person....see previous note.
There is no,............
DVD player, (only one TV),
CD player,
Mop for kitchen and bathroom floor,
Iron,
Ironing board, (suppose you do not need one if there is no iron!!).
Information pack with details of doctors, churches, TV instructions etc.
Cushions for sun loungers,
Cool box,
Cleaning products.
The master bed is bouncy, so if one of you turns over the other one feels the shock waves, and our sheets were frayed.
My deposit was kept until the very last day of the one month required.
The kitchen and dining rooms are dark. It is designed that way to be cool in the summer but you still need to have the lights on all the time.
One of the table lamps was so old that the shade collapsed, we replaced it from a thrift store, I wish I had not bothered.
