THE PROPERTY: This home’s Key West charm and modern amenities make for a wonderful stay. From the Adirondack chair front porch to the private backyard pool, you will quickly fall into the island vibe in this home. A mix of historic Dade County pine and gentle white walls adds to the allure of this home.
As you enter the first floor and look beyond the rich staircase, the contemporary kitchen with butcher block island is sure to catch your eye. Stainless steel appliances and open shelving keep this space bright and airy. You will find all the equipment you need to prepare your meals, as you enjoy conversations in the open concept layout. The cool and comfy living room with large TV and plenty of seating for family and friends, leads to your private pool. Enjoy a dip or keep an eye on the kiddos from the covered gazebo. With sunshine and loungers, you are sure to enjoy this backyard oasis. A gas grill is available for your use, or you may walk to the many restaurants in the neighborhood.
The first floor also includes a convenient half bath as well as a sunny king bedroom with ensuite bath and walk in shower. A dresser, nightstands, closet, ceiling fan and TV will make you feel at home. Follow the Dade County pine staircase to the second floor where you will find the remaining three ensuite bedrooms. The twin bedroom with ensuite bath and vaulted ceiling is charming and has plenty of space for your family. The beds cannot be joined to form a king, but your children will enjoy having their own beds. The other two king bedrooms have ensuite baths with walk in showers, bedside tables, lamps, and natural light.

The pool is heated seasonally (November through April) for an additional fee which will be assessed at the time of booking. A comfortably furnished outdoor gazebo and gas grill are available just steps outside the double sliding glass doors. In addition, enjoy coffee on the covered front porch or people-watch from the second-floor covered balcony.
PARKING: There is parking for one car however, from this convenient location, you may find yourself touring Key West on foot.
LOCATION: The home is on the southern end of Duval Street near cafes and night clubs. You can walk to many attractions including the Southernmost Point and the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory.

House was beautiful, big and best location on Duval Street! Kitchen was fully equipped- we made a huge buffet breakfast one morning- pool was beautiful and perfect size for our group. My only regret is that we did not stay longer!

It is hard to believe but this house is even more beautiful in person than it is in pictures. Close to everything, responsive management, clean, and comfortable. Maintenance was there within the hour when we contacted them for assistance and dealing with the office managers was a breeze - as simple as a text message to get what you need. They arranged our bike rentals for us for the week and left maps of the island along with coupons and suggested places to visit. This was our first family vacation and it was a huge success which was made possible by having a PERFECT home base. We will be booking this house again when we return!

This place is amazing- absolutely what we expected based on the photos. If you are considering this spot- book it! This place deserves a 15 on a scale from 1 to 10 for its location! literally a few feet from the Duval strip, the home is spacious, comfortable and clean. The beds are comfortable, the outdoor pool and terrace were very attractive, the Bbq is a plus.However, we didn’t give a five star because, unfortunately, it had zero kitchen or bathroom basics! Most of us arrived from an international location and honestly, we didn’t appreciate to be told to go to the nearest supermarket upon arrival to buy salt, pepper and olive oil. This property is not on a cheap side, You would think, they would have minimum basics available.We have stayed in a lot of cheaper homes with a few and sometimes a lot more of basics for guests to enjoy, especially the international guests.It also lacked of communication with the rental company, we called several times to find out how to turn on the outdoor fans and only received an answer the next day. So, overall, this was a great stay and perfect on the location side and the quality of the home, just make sure to travel with sugar, salt & pepper, oil, body soap and shampoo. Should you have any questions, relax, the company will call you on island time.

My initial reaction upon entering this home was that it was far lovelier than the pictures online portrayed. This was a pleasant surprise because the pics online were quite good. The house interior was very clean, bathrooms, kitchen etc. The outdoor space of this house is exceptional and clean as well and we spent most of our time on the back porch lounging and enjoying a dip in the pool. The landscaping in the back yard was beautiful and pool towels were included for our use. The kitchen was well stocked, however we ate most of our meals out. We only used the kitchen for morning coffee, afternoon snacks and drinks and take out pizza one night. There is not a kitchen table in this house, but the kitchen island has seating with barstools for eight. This worked perfect for our group of eight on pizza night. We had breakfast each morning directly across the street from Grand Maison at La Grignote Bakery. It was beyond excellent and I would highly recommend. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had its own bathroom. Bathrooms included plenty of towels, hand soap and bath soap. Check-in was easy at Historic Key West Vacation Rentals and we were able to stow our bags there as we arrived earlier than check-in time. This allowed us to enjoy a nice lunch and walk around town a bit. We did not rent a car. Key West is very walkable and Uber is readily available if you get tired of walking. Some of the fun things we did in Key West; a trip to the Dry Tortugas on the Yankee Freedom, Fort Zachary Taylor State Park where we snorkeled and spent time on the beach, Ernest Hemmingway's house, Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, Mallory Square for watching the sunset, dinner at Latitudes on Sunset Key and we ate Key Lime pie at every restaurant and rated them to see which pie was the best - our winners were the Key Lime pie at La Grignote and the Key Lime pie on a stick (dipped in dark chocolate at Kermit's). We all loved staying at Grand Maison and will definitely stay again in the future.

What a great house! It is decorated like a Fixer Upper house which is gorgeous. We loved the layout of the kitchen, great room and covered porch leading out to the deck by the pool. It was clean and well maintained. The manager, Phil was very accommodating and friendly. He gave us great restaurant tips, like the great bakery across the street for breakfast and the Banana Cafe for dinner across the same street. We didn't need a car, as we were right on the main street and it is the quiet end of Duvall Street which is a positive. It was fun to sit on the front porch in the Adirondacks and watch the world go by.

First of all Historic KeyWest Vacation Rentals are amazing! They reserved golf carts, booked a boating trip, and had drinks waiting on us when we arrived from the airport! They honestly were the nicest people! They even mailed a charger that had been left behind in the house. The house was perfect! We had 4 couples so everyone had their own space/bathroom. The house was clean with a great location. We really enjoyed the pool in the afternoons and the 2 restaurants across the street where we had breakfast every morning. If we return we would definitely book this house again!
