Property Manager was very prompt and responsive in communicating. Overall the cabin met all of our basic needs and we enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival, the basic up keep of the outside needs more attention to detail (knock down the cob webs, broom & weed eat) and the inside floors, windows, and kitchen simply need cleaned. Bathrooms, Linens and bedding were very clean. We enjoyed the beautiful lake and peaceful setting. Washer and dryer are on premise but tucked away in the basement. Overall, it meets the basic needs but could use some attention to small details and updating to bring it up to a 5 star.

The view is great - excellent location. Good for families. The home is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you!

This was an adorable house, in a good area, easy to get to everything and the back view of the lake was wonderful! The responsiveness of the owner/main contact, Paula, was very quick to respond which was appreciated. We all fit comfortably and it worked just fine for us. The only main issue we had was the cleanliness. While the house was clean as far as the bathroom and kitchen goes which is huge! The outside just needs a good pressure washing and the inside ceilings, walls and floors need to be cleaned of the spiderwebs and bugs. The bugs are everywhere. All and all it worked for us and we appreciated the view of the lake very much!

Our family enjoyed the time spent together. We visited the zoo, water park, and a hotel waterpark. The children enjoyed playing outside. Unfortunately, the only fish that someone caught was a big carp!

Property worked out great for us. Everything was well supplied and suited our needs.

The facility was fine. Excellent upstair bedroom arrangement for family with kids. Parking was good. Dock was good. Furnishings were good.
My only and major complaint is that the evenings and nights were so pleasant that I wanted to sleep with the windows open. Somewhere, relatively close to the east, a dog barked ALL NIGHT LONG!
If I wanted to spend the evenings/nights with windows closed and air conditioning running, I would have stayed in Texas. Not fair to the hosts, I know.

The property/house was perfect for our family vacation. The dock to the lake was a kiddo favorite for swimming and fishing. The owner was great at communicating with house details. We’d definitely go back again!!

The rental house was just what we wanted to relax by the lake. Everyone liked the casual feel of the house.

Nice place on the lake. Served us well as we were in Watertown working-mainly at night and sleeping during the day. Roomy and comfortable. Good alternative to a motel/hotel. Exterior of house needs some attention to all the cobwebs/etc. and tree limb trimming. could not sit outside and eat due to hordes of flies- maybe that time-of-the-year thing. Could be a really nice place with a little more TLC.

If internet isn’t important to you, then the spotty use of the neighbors service will be fine. Fortunately no one in our group had any work issues requiring their use of the service though WiFi was advertised as available.
Would also recommend a little deeper cleaning, but I understand that spiders are pesky at Lake Kampesky (pun intended).

This place had an amazing view while sitting outside on the lake side. Beds were a little small and hard but over all a good place to stay if your looking to be on the lake.

Great Stay at the Lake Kampeska
Our family had a very nice stay at this property. We were in town for a family reunion and had a total of 8 people in the house (5 adults and 3 kids) WiFi worked great and we were able to do a few loads of laundry as well (on the back end of a longer trip). The trundle bed upstairs offers a nice view of the lake in the AM (probably the best in the house). A/C unit upstairs helps too...overall A/C works very well. Clean place and lots of towels. Paula was very responsive to requests and a pleasure to work with!

Fun summer lake house
The owner was very prompt to respond and flexible. She allowed us to check out late after a change in travel plans. Doing laundry is a bit of an issue, but I knew that from the listing and other reviews. There were plenty of clean towels but I came with a large group so we ran out.

Great location. A few concerns, Grill needs to be replaced. Mattresses on bunk beds were not very comfortable.

We enjoyed our time here.
Really missed the Wi-Fi to do some computer work - but you warned us, and I appreciate that.
Trimming the tree, lakeside, would be nice so the lake is more visible.
Couldn't get the lakeside bedroom shade to work.
It was a quiet location and it was nice to be able to park car in garage.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great location and wonderful view/lake access!
This lake cabin is a great spot relative to Watertown, the lake and public access to put boats in/out.
We loved: the patio, propane grill and fire, the view!, yard to enjoy when not in the water, the lake and beach areas, a great home base to play all weekend.
The cabin has 3 double beds, a twin bed and twin bunks along with a double pull out sofa. We were a little tight with 4 couples and a few small children. It is a smaller cabin but the loft area upstairs is really nice and roomy. The cabin is older and wasn't super clean when we got there. But, it was just a home base for us to be outside most of the time so it worked well. Super quiet area and the bike path is a nice asset.
Thanks for a fun weekend get away cabin!

The property was comfortable for our three families of eleven total. Never ran out of hot water.
We had a great time, topped only by the three days of nearly perfect weather for boating sports with the grandchildren. The garage was nice for keeping fishing and water sports items stored when not in use.

We are multiple repeat customers.
We always have a very enjoyable time at this cabin. Plenty of room indoors and out.

We had a great time.
The house was perfect for my size family! We all had PLENTY of space!! Loved the dock and we enjoyed the visit!! Only suggestion would be to get Wifi for down days but then again it was very nice to have my children “unplugged”!! All in all it was an amazing time and the house was great! Thank you and we will be definitely visiting again!

Paula was great. Answered questions promptly .
Close to the lake..had all that we needed in the house. Loved the loft!had women from age 23 to 63 staying for a sister trip weekend and the property was just what we needed. Thanks to Paula for helping me through my first VRBO experience!

We could have used a bit more space.
There was no wi-fi, but I didn’t ask either. Very few TV channels. Had a great time out and about in the town!!! Totally enjoyed the Terry Redlin museum, shopping downtown, Goss Opera House, and many other places!

Great home base
We met up with friends for the New Year's weekend. The weather was subzero so the gas fireplace was lovely. The kitchen was roomy but the floor was cold. That must be the old part of the home without a basement. So we wore shoes in that room. I loved the loft and think it'd be great for a family with small children. We didn't do much outside other than check out the Terry Redlin art center which was very informative. We did some beer tasting at Watertown Brewing company and wine tasting at Ghost Town winery. Overall, it was a great weekend. The house could use a little TLC with new paint but everything else was good- looked like the walk in shower was a newer and hot water wasn't a problem. I would love to come back in warmer weather.

Very nice, casual and comfortable.
Our family of six grand children, and eight adults had a lovely time at this home. It is lake side property, and the children spent all of the time they possibly could in the water. The water was clean and a nice temperature. They played for hours, and were very entertained. It was enjoyed by all of our family, and we will plan on another outing next summer at the same place. Thanks much. Sincerely, Pat and LeRoy Christofferson.

Nice house
We never could get the fire pit to light and/or stay lit. Otherwise everything was great.

Fantastic
We have stayed here several times. It works well for large parties and is close to town. Beautiful view. Everything you need is included. Owner is super to work with. Highly recommend staying here.

Average basic cabin
Everything was fine..Like the upper level for sleeping. Although the rental needs a good deep cleaning. It still beats staying in a hotel for 3 nights..
