Beautiful property! The pineapple house was very comfortable and roomy for our party. Property manager was timely and helpful with all assistance. We will return to this property again.

Lovely beach house, boat in only access from the main town on Utila, 45 minute walk to Neptunes, 15 minute kayak addle to Cays island where the locals live. More houses have been built since the pictures have been taken but only saw 5-10 people walk past the house a day. Very nice people and services from Trish!

This is a great place to stay, if you're looking for quiet relaxation and great snorkeling. Air conditioning, appliances and house are all nice and functional. Trish does an amazing job arranging for groceries and keeping in touch in case we needed anything. Captain Ronald took us over to the Cay View to watch the world cup final and to eat delicious garlic shrimp. He can also take you for snorkeling excursions and arrange for fresh fish from his brother. The people are always friendly, the snorkeling is great. Just remember mosquito repellent and also remember to wash it off before swimming to protect the reef. Thanks!

Lovely property on even lovelier reef! Perfect for a family getaway! My 2 teenage boys, husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Pineapple House. We spent time every day snorkeling on the amazing reef just steps from the front door; reading in the hammock swaying from the dock; fishing; and playing games (bring your own, or use those at the house!). The kitchen is well stocked, and their offer to provide provisions is much appreciated, so that there is food / beverages when you arrive. we also took advantage of having Melvin & Christina cook dinner for us one night - which was amazing, and to go fishing with Melvin - such a terrific local experience! I highly recommend (and do it early in your trip - we ate the fish we caught every day thereafter!). Anke, the recommended scuba guide, is fantastic as well! All in all a great get away - but be fully prepared to really unplug: there are no screens and only limited internet available (i,.e., you may be able to do some work, but don't plan on attending to critical deadlines from afar! you may be thwarted!)

The house was perfect and the location was amazing. Trish and team made sure everything was ready to go when we got there and ensured a great vacation.

When we originally booked the Pineapple House for our trip but as our group grew we needed more space and Trish was able to accommodate us with the Coral house as well. When we finally arrived to our new version of paradise Trish was there to greet us and show us around both properties and answer any questions we had. Myself and half of our group stayed in the Pineapple House and we can't say enough about this property. It was just amazing! We were just steps away from the beautiful blue waters we had kayaks and a dock at our disposal and the snorkeling was just incredible!
This property was undoubtedly as advertised and more. Trish is an outsanding property manager and Mr Laurence has two unbelievably superb homes on Treasure Beach. We can't thank both of them enough for our experience.

This is a special place. It is private, peaceful, and beautiful. We dove and fished and otherwise just relaxed on the large balcony. It was also an extremely easy experience to set up, despite being a bit off the beaten path. Trish and Laurence made everything run smooth and Anke the divemaster, Niko the boat driver, and Melvin the cook and fisherman were all the best I have ever encountered at what they do. A wonderful house, a wonderful community, and a wonderful experience.

The overall experience with Trish was great. She was accommodating, and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She arranged fresh fish deliveries, and an in-house chef Melvin with his daughter Celine, as needed, as well as island boating transportation with Captain Ronald. Everyone was personable and welcoming! The one downside was the internet/wifi connection was very spotty and inconsistent.
It was totally relaxing, peaceful and beautiful swimming in the crystal clear water..

From the owner to the property manager to the water taxi driver and the chef, the whole team works together to make your stay pleasant.
This place is a great get away—enjoy some snorkeling, read (or write) a book, get some fishing in, or simply revel in the peace and quiet.
The recommended cooks don’t disappoint and will bring food (almost daily) for a reasonable price. The water taxi is fast. The closets are spacious. There is a store about 6 minutes from the house (open from 3p-6p). Past guests have left books, puzzles, games and bug spray, etc.
Easy living.

Things we loved:
The locals. Captain Ronald helped us get around, took us to a local baseball game, to town, and to the cays, even when it was super windy. His brother Melvin made us an amazing dinner, and his wife and daughter made us tamales as well because I love Honduran tamales and none could be found in Utila. Trish and Dave were there to answer all of our questions regarding the island and locals, and the house in general. We loved that great snorkeling could be found right outside the door, and we had a dock for nighttime gazing.
Things we noticed:
It was just the two of us, so we enjoyed the upstairs two bedrooms only. If we came down with the whole family, we would probably rent Coral House as well rather than use the downstairs. The first story bedrooms smelled slightly musty, which is actually pretty typical for beach homes.
We used up a bit of electricity trying to cool the bedroom at night. I forgot to mention to Trish and Dave on my way out, but it seems as if the AC units in the bedrooms could use some attention.
All in all, we loved it and can see ourselves coming back. This is definitely a place to unwind and disconnect. If that's not your thing, Utila will probably not be your ideal vacation. But it was great for us.

Staying at pineapple place was such an amazing experience. We were truly able to disconnect, unwind, and enjoy paradise. From the time we landed on utila until our last sunrise it was a memorable trip. Snorkeling the coral reef at the end of the dock was a highlight each day.
The property managers Trish and Dave make everything easy.....From assisting with arrival and departure plans, stocking the house, to any other request they are always there to help. Their company is just an added bonus. Be sure to have Melvin cook dinner for you at least one night or you will truly be missing out on a fun experience. He took us fishing one morning and we were able to eat some of the fish we caught that day. His brother Ronald is also a great perk to coming here. He can take you to utila town, the cays, or to Neptune’s for a great meal. We were lucky and even saw some dolphins one morning. It is a true paradise.

Great trip! Thanks Trish and Dave for making this an easy vacation. Awesome to walk into a stocked fridge with fresh fish ready to go. House is simple, open and has everything you might need.
Dock is wonderful. Sunsets from the upper level were a highlight. Great place for morning coffee too.
Snorkeling off the dock was great- agree with all the other reviews. Huge variety of fish. Saw a feel rays, a rare spanish lobster and some huge schools of snappers.
Nice low key diving with Bogdan and his team at Utila Cays Diving. Very small group made us feel very pampered and safe. Plus amazing cinnamon rolls!
Couple of home cooked meals with Melvin and Kristi- yummy and entertaining.
Thanks for everything!!! We loved Utila!!

Our family of 8 stayed at Pineapple House for the last week of March 2019 and had a wonderful and relaxing week. The house is great and accommodates a large party easily! Trish and Dave were very helpful before and during our stay (with travel arrangements, provisioning the house and any other questions we had or that came up). We enjoyed snorkeling off the dock and right from our own private beach, scuba diving off the dock, a day trip to Water Cay, excursions to different places in Utila and lots of family time on the big deck playing games and just relaxing and watching the fire burn in the pit right below us on the beach. The sunsets were spectacular and we were lucky enough to see a beautiful one every night of our trip! Overall a wonderful trip, at a wonderful house if you want seclusion and quality family time.

To start the pictures are accurate, which is why we chose this place. The best part was meeting the caretakers, Dave & Trish. We we’re new to the island, don’t speak Spanish and had no idea on what we wanted to do till we got there. Dave & Trish helped us arranged everything we wanted to do from snorkeling, diving, deep sea fishing, trips to town and even arranged for us to have the house stocked with food. The location was perfect, house was very clean, everything there to stay for 7 days, but the people we met around this location made the trip our best vacation ever. This place will be the only place we stay until we buy a home down here.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pineapple House in Utila! Dave and Trish the caretakers for the property provided top notch service consistently and were very helpful in setting up water taxis to Utila for us and were very informative and knowledgeable about Utila. The house itself is amazing! It's very well laid out with 4 generous bedrooms and a large living room. All of the appliances and features in the house worked perfectly. We especially enjoyed the outdoor covered porches to hang out on after a day or paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, or scuba diving. The snorkeling along the reef out in front of the house is world class in my opinion. This house is very well cared for and I give it a "10". Thanks for such an enjoyable and memorable experience.
