With decks off the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Ocean One 511 enjoy panoramic views of the ocean and of Ocean One's greenspace, grilling area and oceanfront pool. 5th floor oceanfront condo sleeps up to 6 people with a king bed in the master bedroom, two doubles in bedroom 2, and a living room sleeper sofa. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. This up-to-date property is beautifully furnished and has a spacious, renovated kitchen. The decor and outstanding views make Ocean One 511 a favorite among our repeat guests.
Ocean One is undergoing a pool renovation and a boardwalk renovation that will affect beach access and pool use over the 2024-2025 winter season beginning November 1, 2024.
Projected completion for boardwalk renovation is end-of-year 2024 and pool renovation will be ongoing until early March 2025.

Ocean 1 is our favor place to vacation. Even though property is under reno, there was no problem parking and grounds were immaculate as always.The unit had been somewhat renovated, painted,new appliances except for dishwasher, builder grade and in rough shape. The kitchen was sparsely stocked, in need of additional glassware, and plates and silverware.Our biggest complaint was the utility closet. He looks of it made you not want to turn on.A/C.I would recommend this complex and unit, but would tell people what to expect been somewhat renovated

it was our 31st year at Ocean One. as u can tell of all the years spent at O1 we like it!!!!!..already reserved for our 32nd year.. 511 needs some updating but the VIEW is awesome!!! if u are coming to Hilton Head need to work with Seashore Vacations they are SUPER!!!!

The condo was very outdated. The kitchen appliances were in bad condition and it looked like water damage on the kitchen walls. A pair of pliers had to be used to turn the clothes dryer on. You didn't know which setting you were getting on the dryer. The air vents were nasty. The place has not been maintained over the years. The ocean view and location were great. After talking with the people at the management company, I found out that the condo had not been scheduled for maintenance in approximately 2 years because it had been continuously booked. I'm not sure how much of this is on the management company or on the owner of the unit. The management company did get us a clean comforter and new iron and brought them to the unit. The outside grounds were nicely maintained.

With some updates this could be an amazing condo.Also I loved that it was near Coligny Plaza. We booked through Seashore Vacation and like always we are really satisfied with them. Never been in a place as horrendous as this unit.we paid we paid $2800.00 for a week here and we received: horrible beds that probably never been replaced in 20 year, noisy and uncomfortable, stiff pillows, horrible furniture all over the house and patio. the couch was so dirty that we had to use a bed sheet on, we din't want to sit on it. the lamps in the bedroom had almost no lights and were dirty.the sink in the bathroom was rusty and cracked. we had 2 small pieces of soap, no shampoo for the whole week. the unit patio furniture was the old patio furniture that Ocean One was getting rid of. all broken. The tv was a simple old tv, internet not working in the bedroom.The kitchen ,god, the stove so old ,the furniture dirty and disgusting. i really feel we deserve a refund. Never again on this place.

This is my first review ever and I could not allow this condo to be rented
This is my first review ever but I needed to let people know the reality of this hot mess! This is a prime example of "don't judge a book by its cover"! I just returned from staying in this condo May 21st-May 28, 2022. Pics on online listing appear decent and inviting. WRONG! Most of my complaints cannot be seen but trust me, don't stay here. All furniture was old, soiled and uncomfortable, master bedroom bed felt like sleeping on box springs, 2nd bedroom with 2 beds extremely uncomfortable and squeaked everytime you turn over, bathroom vents old, rusted and major dust build up, appearance of black mold in vents and living room vents dripped condensation the whole time. Paint around the vents have attempted to cover up water damage on walls! I did speak with Seashore Vacations and they blamed the owners. I asked for the owners contact info and they refused to give it to me! It's highway robbery to say the least, to pay the price I paid for this unacceptable condo! I will no longer go thru Seashore Vacations as I will only book thru owner! A refund of some type would be more than appropriate! Hopefully something will be resolved after this review!

Dirty, not well maintained, fabric furniture in a beach apartment is poor taste, one of the blinds by the front door is a rolled up newspaper, dead bugs in closet where beach chairs are kept, everything is rusted, popcorn ceilings, no exhaust fans in bathrooms, the squeakiest beds on the planet, permanently stained toilets and bathtub, shower in the dark since both bathrooms have 0 light in shower areas, mold on shower curtain, beehive outside of master bedroom terrace. Wine opener is broken. Needs major updates, new terrace furniture, new furniture all around, recessed lighting, better blinds. Rust is also everywhere- in sinks, even the stove appliance. The fridge is great and so is the water pressure, but I wish I had stayed elsewhere.

Spacious condo with great ocean views
Condo with great location and views. The condo is in need of major renovations. The carpet and furniture are filthy. The walls around the oven and washer are rotten with clear water damage. The oven is rusted. The walls need painting. The mattress in the master needs to be replaced. To summarize, the entire condo needs to be renovated.

Absolutely top notch view. Couldn't be better. However, the condo is in need of updating and mattress replacement. Pool is very nice with multiple gas grills off to the side should you wish to do your own cooking. A plus/minus thing is that it is within easy walking distance of Coligny but you do hear the live outdoor music when outside (whether that is a plus or minus depends on what you are looking for. Seashore Vacations made the arrangements/process easy.

NOT THIS UNIT!
Property location is amazing. This particular unit needs a lot of TLC. Molds in air vents/ceiling/bathroom. Cabinet door missing/carpet with stains/curtains in main bedroom falling down. Beds in second bedroom noisy with every movement. Bathroom fixture in main bathroom cracked and old. Patio furniture broken/old. Decor is very outdated. Front door lock problems locking at times. The unit is functional in the sense that it isn't dirty per say, but it needs a lot of updating/fixing. I was dissappointed in the upkeeping of this unit for the price. View is amazing! Management staff amazing. Love that it is right on the beach and central to everything.

Wonderful view of the beach and a quiet property. Enjoyed being close to shopping & grocery store. However, the tile floor blackened the bottoms of my feet within minutes! Rest of the apartment was clean, but, oh, that floor!

Ocean one 511. Needs a complete update & cleaning
511 was dirty! Old worn out furniture. Broken lamps & chairs on balcony broken. Mattresses worn out & broken down. Pillows like rocks. Large stains on carpet. Closet door & trash can door missing. Front door lock not good. Fans in bathrooms not working. Had to call plumber for toilets. Worst rental ever.

Ocean One
Great location as one can't beat waking up to see the sunrise in the morning. That is the major plus as well as being right in near the shopping center that one can easily walk to for your shopping needs. However, it is time this condo had an update. The carpeting is dirty and has spots. The furniture has definitely seen a better day and could be replaced too. Even the wine opener didn't work. If these areas are updated it is a perfect place to stay. Regards.

This unit NEEDS a THOROUGH update, restock, and refurnish. We put sheets on the furniture, cleanliness and smell was that bad. OMG...the carpet. Kitchen woefully understocked and worn out. The fish smell in the fridge (from leftovers?) was the capper.
However, the rental company staff could not be nicer or more professional. The unit's poor condition is supposedly out of their control. The regular end-of-stay cleaning is not enough for the condition this unit is in. WOULD NOT recommend anyone stay in this unit.

Great Fall Break Stay
Ocean One 511 is a very nice roomy 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with a gorgeous ocean and beach view. We were impressed with and enjoyed the front room balcony that easily held a 4 chair round table and two loungers. It easily accommodated two adults and two teens with room to spare.
I also liked that a stove top kettle that was provided for tea drinkers.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and won’t hesitate to book the unit again when we return to Hilton Head in the future.

Excellent Time - Great Property
This property was absolutely perfect! We stayed in Hilton Head to visit my daughter who lives in Bluffton which was only a short drive. The location couldn't have been more perfect as there was lots to see and do within walking distance. We had three babies - a 2 yr old and 1 yr old twins - was an easy walk to the pool and beach and all dining, shopping, etc. Would definitely choose to stay here again! Loved it! Thank you!

Great price for beach front!
Great location....just steps to the beach. The unit was clean but needs updating. In the supply closet, the ceiling is basically falling in and missing a section. Insulation was hanging and the area appeared moldy. This DEFINITELY should be repaired. There is no toilet paper holder in the second bathroom. Minimal silverware. Could be a problem if you have more than four people eating. The biggest issue for us was the locking mechanism on the door. It was electronic and confusing and you really never knew for sure if the unit was locked from the inside. There was no deadbolt or chain lock. I ended up rigging something on the door to alert us if it were to be opened from the outside....just for peace of mind. The pool is clean and well maintained. The area around the condo is very nice, clean, and safe. Hilton Head is beautiful!!!
