Charming and cozy this three bedroom one bath cottage is just minutes away from Rock Creek and the Discovery Ski Area. Amenities include a stocked (not food) kitchen, TV, internet, outdoor seating, picnic table and a barbecue. Everything you need is there in order to relax, have fun and enjoy all that this beautiful area has to offer. Ideal for a family or group of friends, will sleep up to six comfortably.

We had a lovely stay in Philipsburg. The cottage was just right for a group of friends near the downtown area. The cottage was clean and well stocked, anything we needed was there. We loved the town and the people, helpful and friendly. If we ever get a chance to visit the area again, this little cottage will be the first place we will look for in accommodations.

We all can't wait to book again next year! What a wonderfully appointed, clean, comfortable, charming, adorable place! It felt so much like home, we were sad to leave. I was born and raised in the Burg, but was never real familiar with that area of town. I would love to know it's history. I love so much that you've kept some of its original architectural charm. Property was centrally located to the rivers and lakes we were fishing. Close to town when we wanted to resupply. House had everything we needed including a mud room for our wet fishing gear.

Great location and great hosts. Home was perfect for our family visiting while my husband was working locally. Philipsburg is a lovely town. Great fishing, hikes, etc. Host reached out before check in to ensure all was ok. Would definitely stay again when I’m in the area.

We went down to explore the town and hills. The Douglas Cottage was perfect for our trip. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The creek running along the side of the house provided a peaceful sound. The town was great with friendly people. The scenery was amazing from journeying through the trees, over the hills and views from the mountain tops.

My dog Charlee and I stayed in this cute little house for 3 weeks waiting on and then helping my daughter with my 2nd grandchild. The yard was perfect for Charlee with lots of room to run and lots to look at. The house had everything I needed and was so comfortable. It was a long stay this trip and I’m so grateful for the support I received from the owners.

The little cottage was perfect for two couples, as we traveled to Pburg for a weekend event. Plenty of additional parking for our rigs, and the house is well laid out, comfortable, and well appointed with the comforts that help people feel at home. The kitchen is very user friendly, well stocked with basics, the bathroom, the same. Beds are comfortable and clean. I think our only negative was that I like to sleep with the windows open, but the bugs were thick, and the screens were not keeping them out, but there are fans for each room and we enjoyed keeping the front door open for a breeze well into the late evening. The neighborhood is quiet, and it's only about a 15 minute walk to downtown, so when parking was a premium for the events, we were easily able to walk to everything and Pburg is such a wonderful town, people offer rides in their side-by-sides, all the time. The fenced in yard is a plus, as we were able to bring our dog, and it's well maintained. The back patio is a great spot for entertaining, and even pulling out a board game or cards. Communication with the owners was easy and prompt, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Off the beaten path, quiet and serene. Made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. Cottage has everything you needed (except for food) to make yourself right at home and close enough to venture out to take in the local area. We would highly recommend and we would easily book this Cottage again.

This is a wonderful property for up to six adults, although there is only one bathroom, so take that into count. We skied and went to Helena for a dinner with friends. The kitchen is pretty well equipped with most of what you need to cook basic meals. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!
