About this house rental
A warm and welcoming home awaits you in Graeagle. It is located a short stroll from downtown Graeagle and minutes from golf, hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, canoeing, and more. Less than an hour away from Truckee, less than a half hour away from Quincy, both winter and summer fun await you. Located in central Graeagle, our home features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, large family room and dining room for gathering, outdoor front and rear patio areas with partial mountain views and a bocce/cornhole court. Cheers!
There are two king beds in two rooms, including the master, and one room with 2 full beds. A full dining room with room for at least 6 and a fully equipped kitchen are ready for your delicious family meals - or if you don't feel like cooking, take advantage of the dining available close by in Graeagle and Blairsden. The main living area features a 55 inch TV with Roku streaming, movies, games, puzzles and books for those who want to unplug. A barbeque is in the backyard, both gas and charcoal. The backyard is fenced with a 4 foot fence so dogs and kids stay put. A lovely new front patio area and landscaping comes with outdoor seating, lounge chairs, and a bocce/cornhole court to enjoy. Two bikes are available for a casual ride around town. Enjoy our home and the town of Graeagle with plenty of room for the whole family and your dogs.
The town of Graeagle features the Trails Within yoga studio, restaurants, an ice cream shop, road side burger stand, coffee shops, eclectic boutiques, wine bar, local tavern and a new gym. A short drive or bike ride from the house is The Brewing Lair, a fun stop for a tasty micro-brew with your dog. Several delicious restaurants are in the near vicinity. Horseback riding and miniature golf are available downtown. Mountain biking is a great option as well as miles of scenic mountain hiking trails located in the Gold Lakes basin which can be accessed from our neighborhood. Great fishing is located nearby and if you enjoy golf, you've come to the right place with close access to multiple courses (Graeagle Meadows, Whitehawk, Nakoma Golf Resort, and Plumas Pines to name a few). Depending on skill level, there is something for everyone.
Come here to relax and unplug. Our home does have fiber optic Wi-Fi if you need to stay connected. The house has central heat. Summer temperatures are relatively mild and our home stays very cool. If it gets hot, fans are available in each room, however, there is no air-conditioning.

The curb appeal of this property is very stylish and modern. The home is well appointed in its furnishings, kitchen staples, and outdoor attractions. Should I visit again or have friends or family needing accommodations in Graeagle, I would definitely plan to stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights. Grilled and had epic bocce ball games. The little hpuse was so inviting and was like staying at grandma's. We are all planning our next stay. We loved it.

We had a pleasant stay and it was a nice base near Graegle. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, a good place to return after our day hikes. The home was spacious and had all of the amenities. It had a 70s retro, cabin-like feel although it had a fresh paint job. The front porch was a great space to relax, though we never played bocce. For those reasons, I’m giving it 5 stars. The only downside, I would not recommend this place for people with allergies to dust or dog hair; although the home was mostly clean, it could use a thorough dusting and there was dog hair on the bedding, pillows and eventually all over my cloths. I was highly allergic, so I could barely breathe in the house and spent most my time outside. Otherwise, I’m sure it would be a dog lover’s happy place.

This home is the cleanest, most comfortable, well-stocked place we’ve ever stayed. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of linens and towels. They even had dog bowls and beds for our pups to use. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe.
Margaret was extremely easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again.

Comfortable, homey feeling with well stocked kitchen, lots of games and paperbacks. There was not much of a choice of restaurants and they close early. Frostie place was good in a pinch.

Would be difficult to find better.
Wouldn't think about looking anywhere else when we return.

Great place! Super responsive owner, and beautiful patios.
Our family from Poland stayed for 5 days and absolutely loved this place! Very clean, large kitchen, formal dining, and living room. The front patio with bocce court was a hit. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a "walk to town" location in Graeagle!

Great House
This house is perfect. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to cook or grill outside. The beds are comfortable. The back is fenced well for medium to small dogs. Our beagle was in the house when a doe walked by or he might have been over it. LOL I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away up in Plumas County.

Loved this amazing house and location!
This very well-stocked home is a perfect getaway in the paradise that is Graeagle! We often walked to the baseball field close by to play, walked in to town for exercise or shopping, played bocce ball in the front yard while taking in the scenery and relaxed in the fenced in yard with our dog. Every bed was comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the tools we needed. All communication with Margaret was easy and pleasant. We can’t wait to come back!

Short stay in Graeagle
Everything went well during our stay, no issues once we found out the water situation in master bathroom is backwards! Wish we could have enjoyed the beautiful outdoor area but smoke and the fact we were there for a busy wedding weekend didn’t allow for this!

Perfect home for Graegale stay
Had a wonderful stay at this home. The location is excellent, just up the street from the main shopping area. The furniture in the home (couches, beds, outdoor furniture) is all very comfortable and the kitchen is extremely well appointed and stocked with plenty of cooking pots, pans, spices, etc. We also loved the front yard seating area with bocce ball and cornhole. I would highly recommend this home for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

Great House
Spent spring break here with our family (teenage boys). The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean. Plenty to do when the weather is nice (bocce, corn hole, bike riding) and cozy inside with a very comfortable couch with great movie options.
It’s our first time to Graeagle and we really enjoyed the slower pace. I will say for families who are looking to be active, this place would be an amazing place to come in the late spring/summer months. Everything was sadly still closed when we were here (golf, hiking trails, horseback riding) but we found that the house provided games and entertainment to keep everyone happy.
Would love to come back in the warmer months.

Lori's 50th Birthday
This is a great house very clean, plenty of room, the kitchen was well stocked had everything we needed or forgot to bring. Our fur babies loved the backyard although they did escape 1 time they are small and squeezed under the wall, we didn't check so our fault. We were a little disappointed we couldn't use the fireplace with the snow falling it would have been prefect. Other than that it was well worth it we had a great time.

A Thanksgiving to Remember
The house was lovely, well appointed and very comfortable. The kitchen was a chefs dream with every tool we needed. The house was spotless when we arrived. Checking in was seamless, and Margaret checked on us to make sure we were settled in. The house is large so everyone in our party had their own room. It’s a bonus that the Owners of this home are dog lovers and thought of everything to accommodate our fur babies. We have rented many homes on VRBO and this home blew the rest of them away! We are spoiled by this stay and definitely will come again.

We absolutely loved this wonderful home! Our kids, grandkids and golden doodle did too. And all the nearby swimming, hiking and golf make this paradise. And not crowded with people either. Thank you Marguerite for a wonderful family vacation.
