Surround your friends and family with quiet serenity under the majestic pines of the Lost Sierra in Graeagle, California. An ideal basecamp for ALL of the year-round activities that the Graeagle area offers.
Graeagle Getaway is a two-story home, that is actually two homes in one. Built as two separate town homes, the home is now structured as one but yet still offers separation between various areas. The downstairs of the east wing of the home features a rustic living room with a gas fireplace with high ceilings, windows that look into the trees above, and French doors that open onto the full deck of the backyard. Adjacent to the living room is the dining room with another set of French doors, and the completely new and remodeled kitchen. Upstairs in the east wing, you will find the master bedroom and bathroom. Connecting the two unique sections of the home is an enclosed hallway downstairs, and a deck upstairs featuring seating and a gas fireplace. The west wing of the home features three additional guest rooms, one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. There is a full bathroom downstairs and a second upstairs. There is also a washer and dryer, as well as a full sauna in the west wing of the downstairs.
The exterior of Graeagle Getaway is the true treat. True relaxation at its best. Sitting on a half acre, the house features a backyard deck that stretches nearly the entire length of the home. At the far end of this deck is an in-ground hot tub that allows for stargazing year round. Mentioned previously, there is also a deck upstairs that faces the backyard and green belt, accessible from both the east and west wings. The third deck is located in the front of the home facing the front yard. There is also a large grassy area with string lights running through the trees in the backyard, small pond with a running creek, a sitting area, and new horseshoe pits. The lot sits adjacent to a greenbelt where you can often see deer moving through the area.
There is a semi-circle driveway in the front of Graeagle Getaway, a driveway leading into the two-car garage, and a large gravel parking area that can easily accommodate 3 to 4 vehicles.
Graeagle Getaway is a minute drive time from Graeagle Meadows Golf Course as well as downtown Graeagle. The world-famous Lakes Basin area, with its endless recreation opportunities, is an easy 15 minute drive.

Perfect location and house for our family to celebrate together. Close to golf courses and walkable to center of Graeagle. The home was very well stocked and had everything we needed and more. The host was amazing and quick to respond to my questions. Thank you!

If you’re looking for a spacious , well taken care of mountain retreat, this property is a wonderful choice, with all the amenities …. Thoughtful well stocked , clean and enjoyable, we never left the property and relaxed on the beautiful deck with outdoor dining , barbaque and hot tub …. Plenty of common areas but also 4 private bedrooms, separated , this home has a great floor with a downstairs bedroom and two separate staircases going up to a 2nd level, with 3 more bedrooms separated by a common terrace …. plan to enjoy however you choose …. Our dog loved playing in the back yard which had a mesh fence to enjoy the mountain terrain and view which we felt safe and relaxed the entire time knowing the yard was enclosed … the beautiful pine trees, breeze through the trees , views , and even outdoor lighting at night was so festive

A great home with all the amenities! Well organized and stocked with everything from coffee/cream to a fully loaded kitchen with every utensil, serving platter, pots, pans imaginable. Traeger and Weber grill. Wonderful hot tub and backyard, loved we could easily fit 8 for dinner inside or out. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Only comment is that the house does not have AC, only 2 upstairs bedrooms have AC window units. Ok if the evenings are cool, and the house has fans.

A very beautiful house with a unique floor plan and amenities close to everything. We enjoyed our peaceful morning walks around the quiet neighborhood admiring the tall pines and other beautiful cabin-like homes. It was a wonderful place to stay.

Zero issues. Close to Mill Pond for the kids to swim and fish. Close to town to get the kids an ice cream. Awesome deck(s) to hang out while cooking outside watching the kids play in the backyard. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect location for home base in Graeagle!

This is a GREAT spot to vacation with family. The property has very nice amenities, is extremely well furnished and very organized. It includes a well-stocked kitchen, nice sauna, excellent hot tub. Everything about this property is top notch.

This house had everything that our family needed for a wonderful Fall stay near Graeagle. We left, wishing that we could have stayed longer. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. The home was very comfortable and extremely clean. The kitchen had all that we needed to cook during our stay, with plenty of dishes and gadgets, all of which were in labeled cabinets and drawers so they were easy to find. Thank you to our hosts for sharing this beautiful home.

Our family has been visiting Graeagle annually for many years and this house fit every need! The owner was very helpful, always available and made our stay very enjoyable. This has to be the best stocked kitchen we have ever stayed in and each drawer is labeled making it easy to find exactly what you need. The coffee bar was a wonderful morning treat. With multiple decks we were able to spread out and play games, sit by the fire pit and enjoy breakfast as we watched the deer visit both the front and back yards. The house was very clean, organized and felt like we were at home. Plenty of games are available including cornhole and horseshoes. I would highly recommend this home and we will definitely rent again.

The house is very nice, it a beautiful setting and it is furnished very nicely. Furniture is in new condition. The house is very well equipped and the owners left a couple bottles of wine, detergent, plenty of towels. Very nicely appointed. I would highly recommend staying there.

Graeagle Golf getaway
Three of my friends and I stayed here for this year's annual golf outing. The property was well maintained, super clean and very well supplied. Everything was exactly as described in the VRBO listing, so absolutely no complaints! The owner was readily available and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting The Graeagle area.

Good for a group
We wanted to give this house a bad review, because we booked with another owner and we had to pay more and add a day to keep the reservation, which was frustrating. However, the house was clean, everything in the kitchen was labeled, there were plenty of toiletries, and the towels were soft. One negative was that the cobblestone walkway can be a little treacherous in heels in the dark after a few drinks. Despite the frustrating start, this was a great place to stay and Chase was a great host. It was also a very convenient location for everything we needed to do.

Family Getaway
Chase's property is perfect for a family group. With lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, everyone was able to settle into their own space. The backyard was wonderful for the little ones to play. We ate outside on the porch every night and also enjoyed both the BBQ and the smoker. My only 'complaint' if you could even call it that, was that the kitchen was SO well stocked that there wasn't much space for us to put our own food/supplies. But that was easily remedied by moving a few things around, and then replacing them when we left. Every need was anticipated, right down to extra toothbrushes, dog biscuits (which we didn't need - but NICE touch!), and numerous condiments in the kitchen. I have to say this was the best stocked kitchen that we have ever stayed in! Much appreciated! We will definitely stay here again if the timing works out for our extended family. Thank you Chase for providing a wonderful place to stay!

Perfect Family House
This home was the perfect fit for my husband and myself, along with our teenage sons and a few of their friends. It was very well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the deck and yard were very pleasant. We especially appreciated the extra amenities that were provided. The location was great, very close to town and the Mill Pond. We will definitely stay here again!

Golf buddies getaway
The four of us decided to secure this house to accommodate our golf trip to Graeagle. What a wonderful surprise this house was for us! Spacious, clean, close to town and golf courses. One of our crew cooked a fabulous meal, using the oven, stovetop, outside grill. The kitchen and cooking accoutrements were simply terrific. Would stay here again and again!

Wonderful Owner and Beautiful house
With just a bit of TLC this home would be immaculate! There is a wonderful homelike feel with modern conveniences through-out. We were there for a wedding at Kinship Ranch which is very close and makes for easy access! Such a beautiful area and a great area. We were not able to take advantage of the Hot Tub or Sauna - too busy. We would definitely go back!

Graeagle Experience
This house is conveniently located, large enough to accommodate our family of 6+, and the hosts were super responsive. The neighborhood was quiet (at least in early May) and the backyard fenced so our Chihuahua Terrier was safe and happy. The town was not fully open for the season yet, but some stores were open. We were fortunate and had a week of amazing weather which allowed us to get three good walks/hikes in. Frazier Falls was gorgeous. The trail was intermittently covered with snow so we had fun making angels and introducing our not-quite-2 granddaughter to snow. Gold Lake was accessible, so we picnicked there. We played games each night, some provided by the hosts. Great fun!
