Truly an 'Island Secret'! Very 'BEACHY' & fun 950sf coastal cottage! Only 4 rows of homes between you and the beach! A short walk to the beach boardwalk located only a football field and a half away, (150 yards), at the end of 8th Street! Enjoy the lush & knarled coastal oaks on our 2nd floor covered porch or screened porch! When we have 10-15 knot winds from the south you'll enjoy listening to the ocean waves. Complete privacy from neighbors!
Our fully stocked kitchen offers stylish quartz solid-surface counters, under mount sink and white bead board cabinets!
The kitchen, dining, and comfortable living areas are all open to each other and overlook the deck & island vegetation.
Each room in the house is a fun coastal color! You're at the beach on an island and on vacation! Bead board ceilings too for that cottage feel! Two bedrooms and one bath are upstairs along with one bedroom and one bath conveniently located downstairs on the ground floor with a separate entrance. Perfect for two couples wanting a bit of privacy or adult children! There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer located downstairs too!
You have a extra large private hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill and a large swivel charcoal grill, along with a fish cleaning sink & table located downstairs. The property entry at the street offers a 16' wide gate and a fully fenced yard! Yes, we love your 4-legged children and are pet friendly! You'll love the securely fenced & gated property for your dogs!
A short walk away is Regatta Park! This is a bay front park that offers parking, covered picnic tables, park style grills, a white sandy beach nestled on a cove, and a kayak launch site!

Due to the fact that your pet is not familiar with his/her surroundings at the house, PLEASE bring a kennel in case you plan to leave him/her alone so that your dog does not scratch our doors, door frame and sliding glass doors.

This was a great unique property tucked away in a tropical paradise. It was just perfect for us and our 4-legged babies. The property was completely fenced and nicely decorated in both the inside and outside spaces. A lot of thought and attention went into every detail of this lovely cottage. It was very clean and well taken care of. It was close to the beach and to everything we needed, yet it was very private and secluded.The owners were very helpful and thoughtful and have filled this home with personal touches and special treasures that were so interesting and appealing. I felt right at home in this cozy space and would recommend it to anyone looking for a creative inspired space by the beach.

We just returned from a wonderful week on St. George Island, and Island Secret was the perfect rental for our family. It provided the ideal mix of comfort, privacy, and easy access to the beach. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the deck was our favorite hangout away from the beach. You will not be disappointed when staying at Island Secret.

Me and my wife have been there three times and we just booked it again for October. This is our little paradise getaway. The place is always clean and very well maintained every time we go there is some little change that has made to upgraded the place. It has a very nice Outside porch where you can have your coffee and breakfast every morning in the beautiful breeze from the gulf,you go downstairs in the outside porch and you feel like you're in a whole other world, coconuts, wind, chimes, and colorful beach decor all around you. Not to mention the sound of the ocean you can hear throughout the day. Thank you Glen and Lawson for being a great host.

We came here with another couple to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. The house was absolutely adorable and beachy. I loved the wind chimes and succulents. The fenced in yard was awesome for my dog. She loved running around and listening to the roosters in the morning. The house itself was very well stocked. We also enjoyed the large outdoor shower. The couch was super comfortable too. The walk to the beach was not bad at all. We love SGI so much and this house was perfect for us. We would recommend this house and would book again. Thanks!

Arrived and settled in with 2 dogs. We didn't have a schedule or itinerary....Island Secret allowed us to relax without a care. Pups loved the fence yard and our walks. Kitchen had everything you would need. Enjoyed it very much!

We normally stay on 30 A. My husband found this amazing place, pet friendly. It did not disappoint. Everything was on point. Owner was very responsive and the place was well maintained and very clean.
Everything you need and well stocked. The yard was like a mint paradise. The outdoor shower was definitely a plus! Located close to the beach access and the Piggly Wiggly grocery store.
Our dogs are like our family and they loved the beach and fenced in yard. It has perfect sitting area outside to chill and enjoy with lots of greenery and trees.
I’m very particular about where we stay and I can tell you there is not one thing I would change about this place. It truly was a small paradise!
Of all my places we have stayed, this place is my favorite. You will not be disappointed.

It is a true jewel. My sister and i and 2 dashounds stayed for 4 nights.we walked to the beach every day a very short walk. The cottage was absolutely perfect. Not the cookie cutter condo or hotel room . A true beach cottage.we will be planning to make it a tradition. The host was awesome. You could tell their hearts are in it. I loved it, so did my pups and sister. Very clean and very well maintained. Great memories!!!!! Beautiful sunrises .

This cute cottage offers privacy, a short walk to the beach, and a place for pups. The kitchen was well appointed. The love sack couch made lounging way too easy! 😉
The screened in porch off the bedroom on the bottom level was delightful. Having breakfast on the deck off the main room was peaceful. My only complaint was that our stay was too short.
The fenced in yard for the dogs was on point.

This was our second time staying at Island Secret. Each time we leave, im ready to plan my next visit. The oitdoor space is gorgous and private. Its like an oasis in the middle of the island. The hosts are kind and responsive. They have thought of everything to give you a relaxing and unique beach vacation experience. We will return again soon, I hope!

We had a wonderful stay at “Island Secret!” This place is decorated so beautifully with so many beachy and unique decorations. The many wind chimes outside sounded so lovely in the evening breeze. We even enjoyed the rainy days! The surrounding plants and trees make it private yet it’s close to everything you need. We loved taking the short walk to the beautiful beach. This was our first trip to the island and we quickly discovered the island is family friendly and everyone we encountered was laid back and friendly. We also loved that there were no chain stores nearby and everything seems to be locally owned small businesses. BJs pizza is the best pizza we’ve ever had!

This lovely cottage was only 2 blocks from the beach. Beautiful deck to sit and visit or have morning coffee. Plenty of dishes and kitchen items, keurig and coffee maker. Loved the outdoor shower. Lots of privacy and felt like a tropical paradise.

We had a lovely stay. The place was well stocked with lovely decor and comfy beds, couches. The yard was fenced for the pups to run around. They even had spices in the cabinets for cooking. This place was super close to everything and we rode our bikes into town and to the beach. Only a few block from the beach down 8th if you want to walk. We will definitely be back. This is our new favorite place to stay.

My family and pups really enjoyed our time at Island Secret. The house is very comfortable and colorful, with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of fenced space for our pups to run. The home is easy walking to the beach and gulf sides of the island and not far from island center with restaurants and other activities. The owners/managers were very responsive to requests and questions. We did not use the downstairs, but the extra space would be nice for a larger family or group. We had a great time!
