The location - right on the coast, with a direct path to the beach - and the amazing view through the large windows and long deck of this place can’t be beat. While the bed I slept in was incredibly comfortable, the entire space was in need of a deep clean and some minor repairs. The walls near two toilets featured dried, urine-yellow streaks that hadn’t been cleaned, the hot tub cover was falling apart and there was a some grime buildup along the hot tub’s inside water line, the wooden side of one exterior door was rotting, one couch had a few cigarette burn marks, etc. When guests pay more in “fees” than rent, we expect clean, well-maintained spaces.

We stayed for a few nights with two families and there was ample space, the layout was great and the view was awesome. Short path to the beach, great value.

Lots of space for large groups. plenty of bathrooms, Hot tub was nice. Kitchen was large, lots of table space and seating. 2 stacked laundry sets was also really nice. Bedroom #3 with the bunk beds was crowded and beds were noisy with every little movement. really wished it had a BBQ grill.

This was a great beach location with plenty of room for all of our family. It was great to be able to bring our dogs and have them enjoy the holiday with us. The only negatives were that there are no dressers or closets to put away clothes, which made it difficult to be there for a week with everything in our suitcases. For that reason alone we will probably not stay here again.

This home was perfect for our family of 9 people. Big enough to be together or find a quiet nook to read a book or whale watch.
The comfortable beds and cozy linens made for great sleep.
The hot tub is situated in a perfect place to watch the ocean.
Huge dining and living area are open for great visiting.
We loved the game room and had lots of fun playing foosball and ping-pong.

Overall the stay was pleasant. The only major complaint is the ant problem; don’t leave anything on the counters for any amount of time. Location was great, view was spectacular and the dog acceptance was a huge plus.

Very nice, large cottage with hot tub and ocean view. Very clean. Comfortable beds & nice gas fire places in both living room areas make for a relaxing stay. Large dining area doubles as a great place for playing games and doing puzzles.
The housekeeping team is very friendly and helpful.
We will definitely stay here again.

We booked this unit for our wedding on the beach and it was perfect. When we walked in the size of the unit and the views and cleanliness was great. A Must stay if you have a larger family or group and want to have direct access to the beach and a great view.

We have stayed here several times over the past few years because Unit 1 has a great space for our adult kids and their kids to spend a few days with us at the beach. The kitchen layout and two big tables work well to eat together and have room to do a puzzle or play a game. We love the view and the easy beach access.
We enjoyed the hot tub and there was plenty of towels for everyone!
This time when we went, the Roku controller in the main room was not functioning (we tried new batteries, and that didn’t work), and the other TV had no remote control. I did contact Vacasa and let them know the evening we checked in via text. I did get a response, saying that someone would take care of it, no one ever did come to bring us a working remote. We had hoped to watch a movie together, but that was not possible. I asked the housekeeping staff the second day if they had got a message about replacing the remote and they said they did not take care of it, that would be someone from Vacasa that would bring the remote. We will stay there again because the site is great but the we were disappointed this trip that the Vacasa staff did not resolve our problem.

This home is the perfect place for a large family vacation! Spent my 66th birthday here with my adult Children and their kids. easy walk to the beach and the views from the deck and the maid living area are AMAZING! We can not wait to go back!

We brought our 12 person bunco group here and it was perfect! The views are gorgeous, the property is clean and the comfort is on point. The hot tub is a lovely bonus. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely be back.

We stayed here as a family (6 adults) and found the house to be spacious, clean, with nice amenities. The kitchen work space was wonderful, with enough utensils/dishes, etc. to serve our needs. Extras like aluminum foil, storage containers, etc. need to be supplied by visitors. The decor was very nice, but we found the living room furniture to be very low to the ground, making it difficult to navigate for older individuals. The extra space with the kitchen tables came in very handy and we loved watching the sunsets from the deck. The house is an easy walk to the beach, which was an added plus! Overall, a great experience and the configuration and size allows for a variety of vacationing needs.

This is an oceanfront property, however the windows on the oceanfront were not clean. The can opener did not work nor did the stove light, which we reported right away. We purchased a can opener and requested they fix the light… it was not done! The staff on sight worked very hard and was as helpful as they could be with the lack of maintenance and support.
The beds were comfortable and the area is fabulous!
As with many properties there are not enough hooks for hanging towels to dry and there was only one closet to hang clothes and only one dresser.
The fridge was a small residential one, not what should be in a property that houses 16 people.
I would hope the management uses this to improve the property, as we paid a good price for our 10 day stay.

The house was truly spacious and had more than we needed for a party of two. The maintenance man was very responsive to our needs however there wasn’t much he could do during the time we were there. The main sofa in the living room needs to have the upholstery cleaned and throw pillows replaced . It smelled of smoke, body oils and had some staining. There’s three bedrooms and two of them back up to Hwy 101. The third bedroom backs up as well but no window facing the highway. We are light sleepers so the first two bedrooms were out of the question. The third bedroom was fairly quiet but the bed frame was very wobbly and at our age not doable. Not the property management fault as far as proximity to highway 101 as I should have done more research. Just letting others know if they also light sleepers. My main gripe is the sofa cleanliness but everything else was good.

We had 12 adults staying here and there was plenty of space. It was very clean and the beds (even the hide-a-bed) was comfortable. Great location, just walk down the stairs to the beach, and beautiful view. The only issue was that the pans were pretty scratched up, but overall a great, comfortable stay.

We loved our stay at Cape Cod Cottage #1. The house was clean and beautiful and the people working there are friendly and helpful. The only complaint is that bed mattresses are so noisy, they creak with every move. We discovered that it was the board under the mattresses that are the problem we flipped one of them over and everything was silent. Other than that our stay was excellent and we have already reserved for next year.

This place is set up to accommodate quite a few people. Perfect for family get aways. The second living room has a pull couch and barn door. So can act as another bedroom. Lots of space for everyone to be comfortable. Easy access to the beach and close to accommodations.

The property and house was beautiful and accommodating. I would recommend having a check in Binder like other homes. We didn't have wifi and barely managed to check in the online information by utilizing a hot spot. It was all online and clear, but not everyone thinks to check every link before they arrive. Having key information in a binder could be really helpful. For example:

The house can host many people, but the kitchen is not fully equipped to do that. It has good essentials, but we went back home and brought more cooking items (griddle, pots, pans, etc.). If this house would stock a little more in that department, it would be a near perfect house. The heating control is so easy, the space is friendly and clean, and it is absolutely beautiful with its huge windows overlooking the ocean. Overall, we truly loved our stay.

This is a great place for a large group -- albeit a bit loud. The view is incredible, the kitchen was surprisingly well furnished, the beds comfortable (well, except for the sofa bed - but it's a sofa bed so what do you expect?), and the beach access was great. Having the game room right downstairs was perfect because I wouldn't want anyone staying down there -- it can get pretty noisy with a crowd and no carpeting. Having two large tables was brilliant. We could have puzzles and crafts on one and eat at the other.

We spent four days and three nights here at this beach cottage. The view was amazing, the cottage very comfortable and the size was just right for our large family. The bedding is provided but I would bring some more blankets for the beds for extra warmth and comfort. At the entrance of the cottage, we did not find a mat to wipe our shoes on so we purchased a few to help with not bringing sand in. The shared recreation area needed some TLC with cleaning. We spent our days walking the beach, flying kites, and ocean fishing. The location of the cottage is close to Newport where we shopped, and ate at a variety of restaurants. We highly recommend visiting and spending a relaxing time at this cottage.

We had a great time. There was plenty of room and a beautiful view. My only complaint is there were no closets in the bedrooms. Put some closet racks up on the walls in each room with some hangers.

Rented house for Worship Retreat. Stay was comfortable with plenty of space to accommodate large group. Plenty of towels. View was spectacular & the calming sound of ocean was soothing. Short walk down to beach.
Few Cons: Thin walls, downstair neighbor complained twice the first night at 9:30pm about being too loud. For the rest of stay we were constantly shhhhing each other though we were just playing board games in dining room. Laundry & game room in a complete separate unit downstairs which means must carry laundry outside, down and around house to get to it. Floor was dusty, would recommend doormats & rug in main livingroom under couch for feet to rest when sitting. Recommend brighter light outside of front door so can see as it was so dark.

The house was absolutely beautiful and it was so accommodating everybody had their own spaces there was so many bathrooms it was just great! And we were able to walk down and have our wedding right on the beach which was what we intended to do and it was perfect the way that it was!

We loved our stay in Waldport. The house looked just like the pictures. It’s extremely spacious and set up for many guests. The overall standard was high and it was clean.
We would have been even happier if there was more seating on the deck, if there was a larger coffee maker, and more carpeting by the door to trap more of the sand that inevitably comes with you when you’ve been on the beach.
These small negatives should not put anyone off of staying here. The view from the house was magnificent and we were very pleased with our stay.

We loved the property! There was plenty of room for our family of 15. My only feedback to address is parking for more cars. With cars full of car seats, it is not ideal to need to park cars along the sides of the road in pull off beach access “parking”. I reached out months before to find out specific public parking locations so our children knew what to plan for, but my question was never answered directly. It wasn’t until we arrived and VRBO reached out via text about how our arrival was that my question was answered. The only cleanliness issue was a light layer of sand on the kitchen tables and great room floor. The windows were open so I assume it had been cleaned (as everything else was), and it came through the windows. The free on-site laundry facilities and laundry soap were such a great bonus. The decor is updated, the wall of windows with the ocean view was spectacular, and the short walk to the beach was perfect. I highly recommend.

The property is literally right on the beach. We watched the ocean waves and sunset from the dining and great room. It is designed wonderfully for a large group with plenty of seating for eating and gathering for movies/fire place conversations. One room sleeps 10 plus, and then there are other bedrooms and pull out sleeping options. It was incredibly clean and organized with all the things needed for the stay. Downstairs is a laundry room and large room with ping pong and game table. The deck was wonderful and two fireplaces. Outside appearance is a bit deceiving. It is well kept and huge inside. The staff was around and super kind and helpful. We loved our experience! Thank you!

Amazing large home with a great view
This home was great all around. We enjoyed our entire stay. The game room and laundry is in the basement around the back of the house for some fun while doing some laundry. We have already talked with our adult kids about staying again.
