Well behaved completely house trained socialised dogs only very welcome. (Adore dogs)!NO CATS. Use of huge fenced backyard. Convenient to everything. Plenty of free street parking. Air Conditioning. A comfortable, clean and nicely turned-out flat directly across the road from a dog-friendly beach along a spectacular short track. Just minutes from the centre of town. The host was very friendly and responsive to all our communications. We loved our stay!

We had a fantastic weekend at the property. It was in a great location across the road from beautiful beaches, including a dog friendly one. The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped, with a very comfortable bed. Access to the rear yard when travelling with two dogs was very much appreciated!

Cute place, great beach location. One of the rules is to not have the air con running all night, we thought that was a bit rough since the ceiling fans made a clicking sound on each rotation. And when it’s hot and you’ve got a long drive in the morning it was a bit of a rough ask. Other than that the kitchen amenities are simple, much easier to eat out and just have this place as a overnight stop over. Comfortable enough for one night.

Great venue but unfortunately was not good for my husband on a walker certainly not suitable for disabled people. Knew about shower but near impossible to get to toilet and no handrails. If you are disabled do not use. Our dog certainly loved the venue and Fi was a good host.

Great communication with Fiona before and during our stay. Accommodation was clean and neat, great comfy bed, everything we needed supplied , and location was perfect for early morning walks with the dogs on beautiful beaches directly opposite. We hope to book again soon.

This exceeded our expectations It’s the little things, as they say. Here are a few examples: access to a washing machine. Dog towels provided. Sheets changed mid way through an 8 night stay plus all tea and coffee refreshed. Night lights provided. Attention to details and cleanliness was well above average. Place was very comfy and all creature comforts provided . Fi is extremely friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of local tips. Looking forward to returning.

Fiona made sure we enjoyed our stay with welcoming touches. There were even towels for our dog to ensure he didn’t bring in dirt (was very wet in Port Mac). Across the road from the beach. Also Netflix for guests was available.

Welcoming, charming, beautifully appointed, Rarely do I have the pleasure of staying somewhere that all I needed to bring were my clothes. Fi supplied all bathroom essentials, coffee machine with pods - condiments and staples were in the fridge incl milk even choc chip cookies and fruit bowl all greatly appreciated. Do yourself a favour and stay in this property, very dog friendly highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Fi’s. The house was beautiful. She gave us a free upgrade which we really appreciated. She allowed our two large dogs to stay at the property with us which made us stress a lot less. Fiona is such a kind and bubbly person. She got us complimentary food and gave wonderful advice for going out. We would 100% stay with her again whenever we are in the area. Thank you Fiona.

Host very Welcoming to myself & my dog...Quality Furniture..Bedding ..Bathroom & Kitchenware all Modern and Very Clean ...big Fully Fenced Private grass sunny Yard for my dog...5 minute walk to beaches...5 minute easy walk to a choice of good restaurants/ a general store with bottleshop/ post office... cafe...bookshop ..Chemist & Medical Centre .. short easy 5 minute scenic drive or regular buses to bigger shops at Port Central...prompt Taxi service..I would thoroughly recommend the Host and Home to anyone wanting a stay by the beach holiday in a Dog Friendly town, with or without a pet...I felt very Welcome...10 out of 10 for both Location & Cleanliness ..Lee

Fiona granted me an unexpected upgrade before I arrived! Lurvely!! There’s no view of the beach from the accommodation. And there’s a busy-ish road in front of the place to cross and walk to any beach you want. The house has retro interiors and is stocked with any foodie bits you need especially for a continental breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay and can highly recommend you do too.

Fiona was there soon after we arrived. Most friendly. There was some glitches, ie advice about breakfast, and my wife was disappointed that we were on the other side of the road to the beach. Fiona explained it all and things were soon sorted.

Well where do I start??? Stayz properties are a reflection of their owners and this stay was absolutely gorgeous!!! Wonderfully presented property, clean and simply beautiful. Even the backyard was pristine, green and awesome for our chocolate Labrador.....did I forget to mention it’s pet friendly too. Fiona had all the staples, fruit, pod coffee, milk, spreads and even hot cross buns and cereal. We caught an Uber into town and had a fabulous dinner and walk down the harbour. The dog beach is literally steps away with simply breathtaking views. So much to do, so many positives, so much to say about Fiona and her hospitality!!! She makes you feel like family. Do yourself a favour, pack up your pooch, your towel and book some time at this adorable BNB!
