Rapporto qualità prezzo inadeguato!

Lo staff è stato molto cortese anche se abbiamo fatto il check in al telefono e la mattina ci hanno servito la colazione in maniera accogliente. La colazione semplice con cornetto cappuccino e fette biscottate. Unica cosa per la quale vale la pena venire in questo b&b è la sala colazione che ha una vista mozzafiato. Ma a questo punto basta arrivare al castello!

Rapporto qualità prezzo insoddisfacente: 90 euro per una notte a fine Settembre in una stanza vecchia e arredata come fossimo negli anni '70. Letto abbastanza scomodo e con media umidità. Dagli infissi è entrata l' acqua perché la notte c'è stato un forte temporale. Il bagno piccolo, con doccia impraticabile con una piatto doccia montato male e la tenda al posto del box doccia. Non accettabile, non abbiamo potuto usarla. I sanitari per fortuna nuovi ma il lavandino molto basso. Sarebbe stato accettabile per un prezzo di almeno 30/40 euro in meno.

Great location, great view, mediocre breakfast, impersonal owner.

Great location with a gorgeous view from the dining room (or the room with the balcony). Very clean. Daniella is spectacular.

Contrary to description, the breakfast is very limited. Choice of cereal, prepackaged toast, cold pancakes/waffles, and glazed/filled croissant wears thin very quickly. No fruit, nothing fresh/hot. The dining room is only open for said limited breakfast for two hours, again, contrary to reviews/description, there is no dinner served. Lastly, check in was very impersonal. Never met the owners, was told to download Whatsapp to communicate while we were waiting to get in at the front door as we never received the door code ahead of time. Keys to the rooms are really difficult to use, believe it or not. English is not well spoken, and while not a problem, should not be listed on this listing.

Amazing views

The view from our room balcony was exceptional and the room itself was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good as well! Would definitely recommend!

Stay in Centro Storico

This hostel/B&B was in the centro storico. The breakfast was really good Italian style breakfast. The lady serving breakfast gave us great info for a walk we wanted to do the next day. They are teamed up with a really nice restaurant in the Centro storico.

Some fruit for breakfast would have been appreciated.

Eventually we enjoyed our stay and it's a good spot as a base for visiting the area.

The position in the center of Barrea and the size of the room. The staff at breakfast was very kind and friendly and the self check-in was very easy.

The bathroom..the sink was cracked and the water came out with very low pressure. There wasn't a shower mat. I found the cost for one night a little too expensive (but I get that it's high season).

Disappointing, apart from the view.

Great location in an old building near the centre of the attractive village. Great views from the breakfast room. Breakfast staff were friendly. Breakfast was basic but OK.

The quality of the room was very disappointing for the price paid. (We have been travelling in Italy for a month and have stayed in many places.) The room was very basic and in need of renovation. This could be acceptable if it was cheaper. Did not see any staff until the morning. Wifi did not work.

Best view!

We really liked our simple but so nice room, dark wood and beige decor. And the balcony was fantastic with the best view over city, lake and mountains!

Nothing - maybe a fridge would be great.

Nice place

Nice place, only a bit far from the car park so, if you have difficulties walking on steep hills, maybe not the best choice. Other than that, everything was fine. We had a problem with the boiler but the staff fixed it in a jiffy! Balcony in the room is small, but so are all the balconies in the town...

The shower had a curtain that touched the floor, so needed to pay extra attention to avoid flooding the whole bathroom.

Superb

+ exceptional view both from the common space and our room with the terrace. I would love to come back here during winter. + Location in the middle of the medieval town + Breakfast was very good + Good base for round trip nearby and hiking

- bathroom equipment could be better (in our bathroom toilet paper and soap were missing) - we didn't have a shower in our private bathroom

Stunning location, beautiful hostel

The location is stunning and the owners of the place were very friendly. The view from our room is extraordinary (and this comes from someone who knows the National Park like no one else!) and the location in the old town of Barrea (although not ideal for everyone since it can only be reached on foot of course, although not a far walk from a parking spot) is an added bonus.

It was unusually and unexpectedly cold these days and, even though we only booked the room the night before, we found the room cold. The staff made an extra effort to buy soy milk for us, a vegan couple, but the rest of the breakfast was unremarkable (this might be due to the current measures against covid).

Such of great location and superb staff.

Location is beautiful, right in the middle of the old town of Barrea. We had a great view of the lake from our window. Staff is so welcoming and polite, really friendly!! Thank you Massimo and Olga.

Breakfast it’s a bit poor in selection, just sweet products.
