We loved all the room for our family, the closeness to the Creation Museum, the quiet setting, & the quaint town to relax in. Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy & comfortable home. It was very clean & had a good variety of kitchen items.

This house was the perfect place for my family to stay while visiting the ark and creation museums. The creation museum is very close by. The house is in a quiet neighborhood- just as the listing described. All the basic supplies you need are supplied at the house. My 10 year old daughter loves dolls- she was delighted to have a booster seat available for her "baby" to sit at the table with us. The dishwasher and washer and dryer were a big plus for us. There is even an air fryer we were able to use for chicken nuggets. You can tell they have really thought about making your stay easier and more enjoyable. The infomation provided by the owners was all accurate and helpful. While it is not a complaint about the house or the owners, if you are planning to stay here, just know that the library in the neighborhood is closed. Also the little store/restaurant only sells the very most basic supplies. They do sell eggs, which was nice.

This is a clean comfortable home close to the Creation Museum. Well appointed kitchen, comfy beds and nice yard. We enjoyed it and would stay again.

Fresh and clean beautiful property. Beds were so comfortable- even the fold out couch bed. Great washer /dryer. Loved sitting on front porch. Very safe- quite neighborhood. Easy to find. Loved the area!! Truly a home away from home. Anything and everything we needed was there. Creation Museum ten minutes away and ARK about 50 minutes away / and reason for our trip. Our vacation was wonderful. We would do it all again including this country vacation home!!!! Homeowners were informative and thought of everything you might need— night lights in each room so ya don’t stumble in the night! You guys are the BEST! Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Recommend the property for rental

This was a perfect spot to stay our ski trip. It was a short getaway trip for my twin sons and me. They are graduating this year and are off to college soon so trying to get in as much time as possible. We had a great time! Thank you!

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Ranch House. The owners have taken a small home and made it into a very nice, simple rental. We enjoyed the short drive to and from the Creation Museum.

Rental was as advertised. Very nice and clean. We all enjoyed it! Highly recommended. Also met a few of the locals and enjoy breakfast at the local establishment. Wonderful time.

Cute little cottage out in the country with just enough room. Very clean and had all the kitchen and bath supplies we needed. Very quiet area and we enjoyed buying food from the country store and cafe there. Beds were a little firmer than we prefer, but other than that we enjoyed our stay while we visited the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. We would stay there again.

The house was smaller than we anticipated, but still worked great for our family of 8 as a home base to see the Ark and Creation Museum- definitely recommend!

House was clean, fresh, and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. The owners go above and beyond by providing laundry soap, paper towels, TP, dish soap, and even coffee. This was much more comfortable than staying at a hotel for us with the ability to cook our own food while on vacation. Thank you for all you do as a property owner.

We used the kitchen for 2 meals a day and it was wonderfully equipped. The pull-out couch was surprisingly comfortable! The other 3 beds were comfortable as well. There were plenty of chairs in the kitchen for all of us to eat around the table. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and we truly felt we were in a home away from home!

The house was great. Very clean and had everything we needed. We easily found all cookware as we made a meal during our stay. The checkout process was easy as well. Communication with the owner was good. He sent emails showing with local non-chain restaurants and hours in case we were checking in late. Our purpose for staying there was because we were visiting the creation museum and ark encounter. It is 10 mins from the creation museum. The one thing I wish the listing was more clear about was the neighborhood. While it wasn't necessarily bad, it was in the "sticks." Basically in the Middle of nowhere. This isn't necessarily the worst thing. It was quiet with no disturbances. It wasn't close to any civilization; meaning, we had to drive nearly a half hour to find a restaurant, grocery store, gas station etc. This may be fine for some, but I would have rather stayed somewhere closer to civilization. We were coming from the Louisville area (from a previous stop) and the Google map directions took us an hour on back roads which were narrow and very curvy and difficult to navigate since we weren't from the area. But the house was great and the owner was good as well. I recommend the owner, but be careful about what kind of neighborhood you want to stay in.

We have five kids, and I was looking for a place to stay while we visited the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. The house is located ten minutes from the Museum and 44 minutes from the Ark. There’s a playground nearby, the river in site, and is in a very historical small town.

My husband and I stayed two nights and wished it could have been 2 weeks. Dan and Mary are so wonderful to work with and are there whenever you need them. We arrived at 1 am and the light and heat were both on and it made us so comfortable the moment we walked in. The gorgeous home is clean and has everything you need to relax and take a load off! Our stay was great! It is a nice place in a quiet neighborhood. The owners even allowed us to change our dates due to inclement weather and we could not get there on our initial date. We hope to get to go back again next year. I would definitely recommend!

We had a great time, the place was clean and tidy. We are glad we brought our own TP as what was there was like sandpaper. If you stay here come prepared as nothing is around. They state that very well and we were prepared. Would stay again.

This house was perfect for my families short trip to visit the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. It was great to be able to make breakfast before we left for the day and eat dinner in the evening there. Everything was exactly as mention and pictured.

Went in from PGH to be w Family in the Cincinnati, and Lawrenceburg areas, and my sister came in from MN and stayed at a neighboring property. We were close to all the family and had a very wonderful and Merry Christmas together.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights at this property. It was just as described on line. The house was very clean, spacious, very nicely decorated, the kitchen had more than we needed, the beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of linens. It is located in a quite neighborhood we had no problems with noise. Overall it was very relaxing. We were there to once again experience the Creation Museum (very close) and visit the Ark Encounter. We had a dusting of snow one night and the next morning our host was there shoveling the sidewalk and icing the pathway. He even blew the snow from our vehicle. Great people. easy communication with them.

The entire family enjoyed walking to the river at the end of the block, and despite the cold damp weather, we did this several times. The porch, fire pit and the grill were cute features outside that we liked when we booked the property. Although the weather didn’t cooperate, we were able to get a nice picture on the front porch. The pictures of the playground are misleading. It’s a fenced playground on private property. On our first night in town, we went into Cincinnati to eat dinner and we had a horse drawn carriage ride for a very reasonable price. We spent our other days at the Ark and the Creation Museum. Both of those have parking arrangements that are not close to the museum. The Ark busses you up the hill to the museum. The Creation museum has changed and now you walk through the botanical gardens in order to get to the museum. I mention this for those who have young children who might want to bring a stroller and so you know to bring a coat in cold weather. The house is set back away from the street in a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had a lot of dishes but remember to bring foil, plastic wrap and plastic bags. It was nice to have 4 beds at this price. We brought our two young children and my mother, and there was plenty of room. The home was a bit dusty and the windows are not sealed well, but the furnace kept up fine. This was the perfect location for us. Thanks so much!
