This is a well kept property just a short walk from Main Street in Ferndale. It is attached to a house, but it has a private feel. The hot tub is in a nice private fenced in area. The kitchen is well stocked. There is a large deck with a nice view.
I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Very cute apartment. I was impressed with how clean it was. Lots of great amenities like plush bathrobes, full kitchen and a hot tub. Stuart was super friendly and helpful. Close to Main street but also private. I would highly recommend this place.

I really enjoyed my time here and Stuart was an excellent host. The hot tub area was private, very cute, and a fun bonus to an already great place to stay. Location couldn't really be better, only a short walk to the main street.
I'd love to return next time I'm in the area.

Perfect for just a couple. Would advise not to bring children. Large stairs to climb. Bathroom door won't close all the way.

Cute, cozy, and great with the hot tub. Quiet and very convenient to walk the main street.

The property was as advertised and very cozy and comfortable. It is the ideal size for a couple and situated at the back and away from the main home. It was within walking distance to the historic town of Ferndale and its charming downtown with many Victorian houses. We also visited Humboldt Redwood State Park and the Avenue of the Giants to look at the majestic redwoods. Do not miss going on Mattole road to the Lost Coast for some breathtaking views of the Pacific Coast. Be prepared for some fog and cool days but this is quite normal for this time of the year. One issue with the property is that there is no exhaust fan on top of the range so we had to keep the doors and windows open so as to not trigger the smoke alarms. The hot tub was well maintained and easy to use and we enjoyed it very much after a long day on the road. We would definitely love to visit again and stay the property.

I needed a place to stay for a few days while moving my daughter from her dorm in Arcata. This was an ideal location. It was a very easy drive to shopping in Fortuna and Eureka. Two blocks to Ferndale downtown which was super cute! I would suggest the restaurant Tuyas, excellent Mexican food. Some huge pluses staying at this place were: fully stocked kitchen, blow up mattress, easy access parking on site, quiet neighborhood, outside deck seating, shower water pressure was intense, and an Amazing hot tub! I would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Stuart was an excellent host and had strong communication throughout the entire process! We loved Stuart's little guest space- it had everything we needed, and the location cannot be beat! The bed was comfy and everything was very clean! We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to beautiful Ferndale!

One of the best vacations! Ferndale is a beautiful town, you can walk the town or drive the various roads from the coast to the Redwoods. The people are warm and friendly. Great vacation

We were a family group of 4 adults, thinking we were staying in a 1-BR apt. The apartment is more properly characterized as a STUDIO. Very nice, clean, and functional. A short walk to main street, a welcoming, polite, and helpful host, but very cozy for 4 adults. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay!

Could not have asked for better accommodations. The VRBO matched the description and was very clean and easy to locate. Bed was very comfortable, towels were extra soft, and the entire apartment was well stocked. The hot tub was an added bonus, and Stuart even had robes available for our walk to the hot tub. We also loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings with all the beautiful flowers.

Perfect property. Clean, easy to find, close to town, spacious, robes provided for hot tub, shower has great water pressure. We spent two days packing in as much sight seeing, dining and nightlife as we could. Stuarts place was the perfect place to come home to. Quite and comfortable. We will be back. Cheers! From start to finish Stuart was the perfect host. He responded patiently and promptly to all my messages and the directions to the apartment were a breeze to follow. Stuart and his dog, Harry greeted us and Stuart gave us a tour and explained how everything worked. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and this apartment was perfect for us! Cute, relaxing, clean, we loved it so much we extended our stay an extra night! The hot tub was wonderful and everything in town was within walking distance. Stuart was so helpful with all of our questions, we will definitely be back!! Thank you for a wonderful stay Stuart! :)

This was the perfect spot for our family of four (8 & 6 y/o children) to stay while exploring the north coast. Just 30 minutes north to Eureka zoo and Skywalk (highly recommend) and 30 minutes south to Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Ten minutes to Centerville beach and a two minute walk to downtown Ferndale. Stuart is a great host. Would definitely stay here again.

The studio is beautifully decorated and very clean. And very quiet. It's only two blocks to downtown Ferndale.
Stuart and his dog Harry are great hosts!

Just a short walk away from downtown Ferndale, this neat, clean, quiet, well-equipped apartment (good wifi speed as well) is a great place for a vacation or (as we did) for remote work. Strongly recommend. Hope to visit again.

Great spot for a couple. Very comfortable indoors and on the porch. Easily walkable to downtown.

Stuart was present when we arrived and gave us a quick tour of the place. It was exactly as it was described. Loved the spa. Even though it was raining, the sun did come out and we were able to enjoy the hotness of the spa and it was to die for. There are plenty of hikes and walks here and Stuart's place is a hop, skip away from downtown. Easy to get to via walking. We had a great stay and would look into booking his place should we head up to Eureka. Thank you, Stuart for a great stay.

I had a great stay here. Communication was easy, the property was comfortable. I loved the hot tub. Quaint, quiet town, beautiful roads nearby to explore.Stuart has a strong COVID protocol in place. I felt safe and healthy. He provided lysol and disinfectant wipes, I had exclusive use of the hot tub. At the end of my stay he asked me to place all linens, including all blankets, comforter, mattress pad, towels, etc. in a large bag for him to wash.I really enjoyed my stay and Stuart was a wonderful host. I love this part of Northern California and would return for another stay in a heartbeat!
