"The Most Family Friendly Listing in Portland"
As the parents of a 5 year old and an 18 month old, we understand how difficult it is to travel with children. We hope to make our VRBO home as accommodating as possible for families.
We have provided bunk beds, a Pack n' Play, a changing table, a stroller, safety locks on drawers with potentially dangerous items, and plenty of games and toys for the kids. The house also comes stocked with children's movies, a Nintendo Wii as well as arts and craft supplies to keep the young ones occupied.

This home worked well for our family, which included my husband and I, our 18-month-old and my parents. The house is very child-friendly and we felt right at home. It is located a short 10-minute drive from the city and was very convenient.

Our stay was pleasant, we had enough space for our group of six & a wonderful yard for our kiddos to play in. We arrived during a heat wave so it was a bit warmer in the evenings. The kids loved their room and added to the art wall that displayed art work from past guests. The location by far was the best part, close to everything we needed and easy to come and go.

House was as listed and well stocked with morning supplies. Only down was garbage can was full when we arrived and waffle maker did not work. Minor details for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Portland. The house was in a perfect location to visit everything the city has to offer and is close to the major roads if you want to visit sites further away. Fred Meyer within 5 minutes was perfect for our shopping.
The kitchen was full of utensils and it is no problem to cook your own meals. An extensive TV package is provided. A nice surprise was the airconditioning as it was not advertised but very welcome for the hot days during our stay.

Hamilton house is well equipped to host a family fir a short break in the Portland area. Close to the zoo and lots of resturants and stores it is easy to navigate to get to all necessary spots and to tourist locations. Jordanne was very supportive and helpful to fix any issues that may come up. There was something for every age range and when the Wii didn't work they arranged to drop off a playstation 5 for the kids. Super fast wifi andwell equipped rooms provided lots of entertainment for the whole family.

This home is well equipped for a family's needs and the hosts are very responsive. The neighborhood is peacefu and quiet. There is not much within easy walking distance but there are a lot of options for recreation within a reasonable drive.

My family (husband, 5-year old and 2-year old) met up with my parents and stayed for 4 nights and it was the perfect spot for us. There was plenty of room for all of us and my kids absolutely LOVED the toys, books, games, etc. that were provided. We visited the zoo one day which was SO CLOSE to the house and went to OMSI as well, also a quick drive. Jordann was so quick to respond to all of my questions. Everything was what we had hoped for other than the beds being way too soft (I'd suggest replacing them with firmer mattresses) and the dining room table was too small (there is definitely enough space to upgrade). But I'd highly recommend this house for other families that are wanting to explore Portland with young children.

We enjoyed our stay in the Portland area. We found the house met our needs just fine although my husband and I found the king bed to be too soft. We both prefer a firm mattress and the king was just not. The decor seemed a bit sterile but that may just be the owners style. All in all, our stay was fine!

Stayed here with my mom, my husband, and our 3-month old. Loved that they had a pack-n-play so that we didn't have to bring one! Nice neighborhood and the house has everything you need.

Excellent communication and fast response with the host. The living room sofas could easily sleep 2 more people. The washer was the biggest I've ever seen, great for our laundry needs. We didn't use the kitchen much but it seemed well equipped. Thank you for letting us stay!

The place was very nice and clean and comfortable. Also, it was great to store my vehicle in the garage. We wish we had more time to spend at the house and Portland. Only downside was the TV in master was small and didn’t have the features of the other two tv’s.

Perfect!
We stopped here for 2 nights on our PNW road trip. It was the perfect house for our family. Our kids (13 and 10) enjoyed having their own rooms and a break from hotels. They spent a lot of time throwing a football in the front yard. We spent a morning at Multnomah Falls and drove into downtown a few times. Very close to everything you would want to do!

Master bedroom bed was not very firm and bunk bed on top is very close to ceiling and difficult to.ce down from it. Otherwise everything was great and location was perfect.

Super kid friendly, great location.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hamilton house. All of the kids toys, dishes, pack and play, high chair, etc. really came in handy. Also the house is a quick six minutes from the zoo and children’s museum, which after traveling so far was, it was nice to not have to be in the car for a long time to see those attractions. We came for a wedding in the city and was also surprised it only took 10 minutes to get there. Lastly, the backyard was fabulous for kids and adults alike. My family and I sat around the table while the kids played in the bamboo forest.

We rate this property a MUST STAY!!
Our family of 5 had a wonderful experiece using this property as a homebase during our recent Oregon vacation. We needed to connect with the homeowner just before our trip- She was easy to get ahold of and very responsive to our needs. We didn't speak with her again because everything about the rest of our stay was clearly laid out through emailed instructions and a "manual" at the house. Check-in was easy and straight-forward, the house was EXACTLY as shown in the photos on the website, and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics. My kids especially loved the triple bunkbed and closet full of toys in the kids' room! This property is in a very quiet, pretty neighborhood and it was close to a grocery store, a few small restaurants (you must try the chocolate banana pie at Noodles!), basic shopping (Walgreens, etc.) and an Urgent Care (which is sometimes a must when traveling with kids). We also traveled into Portland quite a few times during our stay, so it's close to the downtown action as well. Our family recommends this property whole-heartedly and would 100% book a stay here on a future trip to Oregon. Thank you, Raleigh Hills house, for great vacation!!

Super easy access to zoo and park!!!
So happy with my choice to rent this home for our family of 6 adults, 4 crazy, rambunctious children and a 7 month old. Incredibly well stocked and clean. Everything you'd want for babies/or toddlers is there. Even has strollers available and lots of high chairs, PlayPak. There are bed rails for the bunks so no worries on them. We used the extra crib mattress on the floor for a bed so all the kids could be with their parents. Large garage that was used for roller skating, lots of asphalted parking space, Netflix in living room and 2 bedrooms, lots of toys, games, books, magazines. HUGE washer and dryer with everything provided for doing laundry. Did I mention the easy access to the zoo and park? Quick trip going Hwy 26 (one exit down from where you get on) or go the back way and see some incredible houses. There is also a Fred Meyer, Target, Rite Aid and Albertsons just down the road and lots of eating places. It also has a blue line bus stop right outside. We only had 2 full days and we could have used a full week seeing everything Portland has to offer.

Beautiful home in a very convenient location!
As soon as we pulled into the private driveway, my family and I were blown away by how gorgeous this home was from the outside. As soon as we stepped inside, we were even more impressed! We had 7 adults and 2 kids and the house perfectly fit our needs. Check-in was incredibly easy, and Jordann & Brian were very attentive and always quick to respond to our needs.
The home is located in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood that was close to the freeway which made getting into downtown Portland and Washington Park a snap!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit the Portland area, particularly those who are traveling with kids or planning on cooking during your stay.

Perfect for our needs
A group of five of us stayed for a weekend conference. The house had plenty of parking for our three cars. Everything was clean and comfortable. Jordann was quick to respond to questions and we found a great dinner place based on suggestions in the binder in the living room. Everyone was happy with our stay. Thanks again!

Clean house-- helpful owners
This was the perfect place to stay for a small family gathering with lots of young children. We had four adults, five children and two infants, and fit comfortably. The house was clean, well-decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. The house was in a quiet location and the yard was large enough for the kids to play in. There were pack and plays to use and the kids loved the Wii dance games. Although outside of downtown, the house was in an easy enough location for a day trip into the city. Jordann was very good with communication and attempted to be as accommodating as possible. She allowed us to check in early, and after we had to buy some WD-40 for squeaky doors, she offered to reimburse us. I would highly recommend this house!
