The cabin was great with extra touches to make our stay easier and comfortable. Located close to all the major hikes and attraction yet still tucked away for privacy. The office was very helpful and friendly.

The Cabin was nice and cozy with stunning views of the woods from every window. That combined with the hot tub made it the perfect place to wind down and relax after a day of hiking.

This cabin met, and exceeded, our families expectations of how we travel moving forward. The Chalets was an amazing company of friendly staff who made everything feel cozy. The cabin itself was STUNNING. Clean, comfy, secluded; the tree frogs at night were my favorite! If you’re looking for a place to disconnect, relax, and ground yourself- Hawks Peak is the place. Worth every penny.

This was a perfect place for our family of four + pup. Plenty of room to roam for everyone, property was clean & well appointed. Be sure to read all of the communications about your booking- what to bring, what is provided etc., it's very thorough and helpful!
Location was excellent for all of the different hiking trails we wanted to take and close to "downtown" areas. Will definitely look to stay here again. Hot tub & fireplace were working & clean.

The house is very nice and well maintained. There are 2 bedrooms and a loft area with a bed. The space was private and had a little area next to the cabin that had an open and great view. Very easy to find and just as described. Would have liked a little more comfortable seating in the living room since it sleeps six and has a chair and sofa so 3-4 people comfortably. Overall I would recommend and would absolutely stay at again if I come back to the area.

An absolutely fantastic stay. Exactly as described. Beautiful destination.
The beds were so comfy, all the amenities functioned well and were very clean.
The hot tub was amazing and perfect for a snowy getaway.
The water was a bit smelly but that can't be helped and was fine once boiled/ brought water bottles.
My family visited from England and we had a wonderful stay, I would recommend staying here :)

This cabin is fine, but not comfortable. The good: the location is quick & easy to find, the hot tub is large and easy to access, the fire pit and fireplace are nice and the cable tv is good. The bad: I called in the morning to ask about directions and to make sure they had what they needed from me. They assured me they did. I had to call them when I was an hour out, past my checkin time because I never received instructions/address. They told me they didn’t have my number/email to send it to, which wasn’t true. Employees were very nice, but this was a system failure. Cabin did not come with more than a very primitive set of everything. Like 8 plates, glasses, mugs, bowls, forks, etc. and 1 casserole dish, 2 pots, 1 cookie sheet, etc. So our family of 5 was constantly doing dishes and making a dinner was challenging. There were no paper towels, which I hope was an oversight. There was only one blanket to be shared as we all watched a movie. The surfaces were sticky and the bedding was a cheap motel feeling. This place will do, but I wouldn’t stay again as I felt like it was one step above camping and when I go on vacation I want to have more comforts of home. The management company is very responsive and came to fill the hotub when requested, but the cabin itself needs some TLC.

We had a great stay - the place was really clean. I did think the screened in porch and kitchen area were going to be larger based on the photos but everything was very comfortable. I'd recommend this management company and cabin!

This nice cabin was perfect for our family of grandparents (2), parents (2), and kiddos (1 and 3 years old). Quiet, secluded, and safe, the cabin was well-appointed and convenient to all that Hocking Hills has to offer. We especially appreciated that services like grocery stores were near at hand, but you still felt out in the hills, secluded from even the small town of Logan. Great stay!

Wonderful Getaway
Myself, my daughter and my mom enjoyed a quiet 2 night stay at Hawks Peak. It’s was clean and cozy with plenty of space for us. We loved the seclusion of the cabin and the nice little trails around it.
Only a couple things that I wasn’t expecting:
the yard was fairly small so if I had young kids there isn’t too much room to run around, however it was perfect for the dogs.
The road/driveway is extremely steep
There is only a tv in the living room and downstairs bedroom. Not in the loft or upstairs bedroom(fine for us)
We ended up buying jugs of water because of the taste of the tap water. Again, not a problem but not something we hadn’t expected.
The cabin was in a great location to restaurants and the main trails. It’s in the perfect location for beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Overall we had a great time! I would definitely recommend this cabin for a group of friends or a family with older children.

Winter Wonderland
Arrived for a three day getaway one week after a winter storm. From check in to check out staff were very attentive to our needs. A big shout out to Christina in the chalets main office! Shorty our Boykin Spaniel says “hello!”
My wife and I spent our evenings in the hot tub after day hikes through the winter wonderland of Hocking Hills which were beautiful to say the least.
The chalet has a very nice fireplace, privacy, and tremendous and unforgettable view. The road on the hill to get there is well maintained and 4-wheel (all wheel) drive is a good idea.
We would highly recommend and definitely stay again!! Thank You!!

Great experience. Would rent again for sure. The only thing I would recommend would be some grilling utensils.

Great Getaway
This was the perfect place for our family to get together between Christmas and New Years. We enjoyed hiking and found Hawks Peak in the perfect location to access the many Hocking Hills trails. Everyone, including our dog, enjoyed the privacy and quiet of this cabin. The hot tub and books were a nice addition too!

Hawks peak is grestu
Overall it was excellent, the signage for Berry Road should have the big chalet sign like the main location, we missed the tun first pass. Also the road up to Hawks Peak is very rough, our guests without a SUV had a tough climb. But the cabin itself is awesome and very clean

Great visit t Hocking Hills
The chalet was perfect for mu family. The 14 yr old was delighted to have her own room. The place was well furnished and had everything needed. Meals eaten on the screened in porch were wonderful. It is so quiet there!

My wife and I were pleased that the cabin was not too hard to find. Although our Ford Fiesta struggled a bit to get up the unpaved portion of the road (which could be a problem in rainy weather), the steepest parts of the climb were paved. As we pulled in the driveway we were greeted by a man smoking by the firepit. It wasn't clear if he was staying or lived nearby, but he immediately left and we did not see him again.Inside, the cabin was quite spacious--plenty of room for us and our cat. The kitchen was pretty well-appointed and it was nice to have a large fridge. The highlight of our stay was definitely the rear screened-in porch, which faced the woods and included a hot tub. Just sitting at the table out there and listening to the wildlife at different times of the day was great. The hot tub was also nice, although its button panel is so worn that it made it hard to cycle through some of the functions, and it should probably be replaced before it breaks completely.Lastly, I should mention the grill. It appeared that a previous guest had left the valve open on the propane tank, but it did have plenty left for our use. I found the placement of the knobs and starter confusing, but did eventually get it working. Although a couple more burners would have been nice, we were able to cook hamburgers and hot dogs; and sear the oven-baked ribs we brought with us.Would totally consider staying here again.

Great views from the screened in porch! Really enjoyed being able to enjoy the hot tub bug free while still being able to see and hear everything outside. Super clean and the bedding was really comfortable.

Hocking hill is amazing just not this cabin
First of all once upon arrival its 87° outside and they have the heat on inside. So we go in get settled in and we try to turn the thermostat to 72 like it said nope blows out nothing up heat no cool air at all. 20 mins later the temp is rising in the cabin it is now 89 degrees in the cabin at 7 pm it's hot we open all the windows just to get cool air and turn on the fans that's when we notice big pile of dust on the fans we literally have to clean them ourselves. The porch boards are rotten couple places you would think you would fall through. And last but not least there is stinky well water there and no one told us, so if you stay bring your own water for coffee and drinking.

Nice getaway
Loved the location and the hot tub was awesome. However, some of the furniture was dated and should be replaced. Also needs some more basic kitchen items; cutting knife, pizza pan, cookie sheet. A chair in the loft would be nice. Also the lighting could have been brighter in the loft bedroom.

Peaceful
The cabin was clean, with plenty of hot water and tools to work with for cooking or grilling. Bring propane if you stay at Hawk's Peak and want to grill out. The hot tub deck area was fantastic and relaxing. Very peaceful property. I would stay here again.

Long weekend getaway
We enjoyed the cabin and the location. Beautiful wooded area. Only glitch was driving 31/2 hours to arrive for the 4:00pm check in and the cabin hadn’t been cleaned yet. They did get it done within a half an hour. Very cozy cabin with fireplace and hot tub.
