Excellent rehab of century old home.

It is hard to put into words just how amazing this property is. My family and I travel all around the country each summer attending College Gymnastics camps. This summer was UK. Needless to say, we see rental properties of all shapes and sizes. This property was AMAZING! Gregory was an absolute joy to work with and the house was beautiful!!
The house had every little detail taken care of, and the second you walk in, you feel like you are at home. The kitchen was beautiful and each bedroom had a stunning bathroom attached. We could not be happier. The house is close to the main strip downtown and even though we could have gone into the city for dinner each night, we found that all we wanted to do was sit on the huge front porch and have drinks.
Thank you Gregory! The house exceeded all of our expectations! We will definitely be back!

Traveled with my husband and two older teenagers to the Lexington area. House was perfect. Beautifully decorated and kept. Gregory was a wonderful host and so helpful. It was walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants.

This is a stunning, luxurious property with added benefit of pool table and dartboard in the garage. It was a fabulous place for a family weekend and although it is a little bit pricey, we felt it was completely worth the expense. Within walking distance of two restaurant brewpubs. The owner was extremely helpful and accessible. The driveway is negotiable by an SUV, but would suggest parking on the street because it is precarious. The bedrooms were exquisitely comfortable the bathrooms gigantic the entire house was divine.

This home exceeded all expectations! All of the rooms were large and comfortable. There was more than enough room for 6 people. All appliances had a like new quality to them. For as old as the house is, everything felt modern and updated. We walked to downtown Louisville within minutes. We cooked an Easter meal and the house had everything needed to do so. Our teens loved the pool table/entertainment area in the garage. The only downside was that we left a half a pizza out on the counter overnight and some ants made a visit. So don’t leave any food out overnight. Overall this is an amazing property, in a great location, and would definitely stay here again.

Nice place. Great location. I would come again. We had major issues with getting in the place. People were unresponsive and gave us the wrong address. You need to double check but I liked the place overall

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Gregory Clarke was a hands on property manager. We were able to check in an hour earlier and get settled in from our long trip. My family of six was very comfortable in their own bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. We enjoyed the outside recreation area in the garage. The house is in a beautiful location, steps away from a short walk into downtown.

Perfect location in downtown Lexington for all activities.
Lovely porch for sitting and drinking coffee (or wine) and relaxing while enjoying the garden.

The property was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the lovely indoor decor and all of the available kitchen items. Gregory allowed us to check in a few hours early which was so helpful to our schedule. The driveway was our only challenge. When we parked in the back of the house the turnaround was difficult. But there is an option of street parking .

The Lexingtonian was a perfect home for a getaway weekend for 5 friends. What a treat to stay in a historic mansion! Gregory was very thoughtful in making sure the home was well-stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed morning coffee in the sun room (space heater provided), preparing meals in the gourmet kitchen and hanging out on the front porch during the evening. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, as well as a brewery and distillery where we took a fun tour. I would highly recommend this home!

This is our second time staying at this property. Again, we had the best experience. If you are traveling with multiple couples for an event downtown, this is the place for you. Ideal location, less than a five minute walk to downtown Lexington. Equipped with first class amenities throughout the home. You won't be disappointed!

We visited KY to enjoy bourbon and attend a football game at UK. We were 3 couples and the home was perfect for our stay. 3 bedrooms and 3 en suite baths made the stay comfortable for each person. Kitchen was great and big table for playing games while watching Saturday games. Location was great to restaurants and coffee shops with lots of recommendations from the host. We loved our stay!

I can honestly say this was the best VRBO experience that I've had. The house outweighed our expectations. The house was much bigger than expected, and immaculate! So many amazing details, so much art and beautiful books and lots of character. It had everything we needed. We were a family of three with a baby, my mother-in-law, and cousin and her husband. We had plenty of space and everyone enjoyed their room and beautiful bathrooms. So close to downtown, just a couple of blocks away. Very accessible, walkable, very safe neighborhood not too loud at night. Would definitely say again. I absolutely love this place.

The property is absolutely beautiful and historic. Three beautiful bedrooms and en-suites in all. Although we didn’t cook, everything that we would needed was available in a fantastic kitchen and an outside grill. We absolutely loved the outdoor room in the renovated garage.
A pool table, darts, bar, tv and comfortable seating was enclosed in the space. We will definitely be back and will find an excuse to rent again.
Thank you!

We were looking for a nicely appointed, centrally located house for 2 couples plus one adult. A place to use as a home base while we toured nearby distilleries and Keeneland as well as a comfortable place to relax. We also wanted to be able to walk to nice places to eat, drink, and shop. We had never been to Lexington and were delighted that this house fit our needs perfectly. It’s a gem.

We traveled to Lexington to attend the 2022 Breeder’s Cup. This home is a beautiful home located in a perfect location for all that Lexington has to offer and, after a busy day, allows you to kick back and spend special times with special people. There wasn’t a thing missing from the home and Gregory was a spectacular host who responded to all requests quickly. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Lexington!

Among the best VRBO properties and experiences we've had. From Gregory's attentiveness and help to the quality, size, and location of the house, all was nearly ideal. For a group composed of three couples, the set up was perfect. We will be back, and when we are, I hope this house will still be available to us.

This is the best VRBO experience any of us have had. Is there a one word description higher than top-notch? The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, and every room was lovely. We hope to return sometime. The host is superb and we are grateful for the wonderful hospitality he provided.

Spent 4 nights at this property in the historic part of Lexington. It was a reunion with friends from Michigan, Florida & Georgia. The property was outstanding. We all enjoyed having our own suites. The home was impeccably clean and well equipped. We even used the gas grill for our dinner one night. Would definitely stay there again.

Group of 3 college-friend couples enjoying a weekend sans kids to enjoy all the bourbon Kentucky has to offer :) Gregory was a great host, even checked in with us to make sure all was well a day into our stay - open lines of communication if we needed anything! The rooms were lovely, the house cozy-would definitely recommend to others and/or stay here again ourselves!

Incredible Stay!
Our house did not disappoint in any way...we wanted for nothing during our stay. Gregory met us upon arrival and even helped us bring in our luggage! The house was immaculate...3 bedrooms (bedding and mattresses were wonderful) with 3 1/2 baths that allowed our party of six to have plenty of room for privacy. Added bonus was the Carriage House, complete with pool table...we found ourselves winding down there every evening. We even had a personal chef come in to prepare an evening meal and she was amazed at the kitchen...every single thing you can think of was provided. Another important note...the house is very large and welcoming...but with two units, both the upstairs and downstairs stayed at the temperature we needed during a hot July...and we had hot water galore! Excellent location, excellent home, and a place we hope to visit again in the near future!
