And many other yummy spots close by; I would suggest looking on YELP.

Natural Disaster & Unforeseen Circumstance There are no refunds for natural disasters or other major events that are out of our control. We highly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to cover your stay in case of a natural disaster or other major event. Depending on the type of trip insurance you purchase, you are usually eligible to be reimbursed by the insurance company for the amount that we do not refund.
*** Weather & California Fire Season: unfortunately, wildfires have become a regular occurrence during fire season (July - Oct). As such, we recommend purchasing trip / travel insurance. Beautiful retreat overlooking the lake from the second row. Walk to the market, restaurants and lake in the Tahoma neighborhood on the west side.
The house is as advertised, beautiful inside and out. Enjoyed watching the sunrise from the back deck and the golden hour glow at sunset from the hot tub. Already planning our next visit.

My husband and our 3 boys ages 10-15 had the perfect trip in this cabin! The listing is very acccurate and gave great information about the area. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had all we needed with beautiful lake views. The area is perfect with a short walk to the market, restaurants, and a great coffee shop across the street. The kids loved the lake beach and jumping off the pier- just a few steps down the hill! We enjoyed our coffee on the deck each morning and peaceful sunsets from the hot tub. Tahoma is a great area in Tahoe with a quiet charm. We hope to be back!

This vacation cabin is beautifully positioned for a lake view. It is clean and convenient to restaurants and markets, and only 8 miles from Tahoe City. We enjoyed our stay here.

This cabin is in excellent location: close to hiking trails, bike rentals, water access, grocery stores, local marts, and yummy restaurants. The host was responsive and quick answering my questions. The cabin had many hooks for those who like to keep organized. Loved being able to do laundry in the cabin. We were happy with our stay! Thank you, Jennifer!

The property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a small family!

Lovely and intimate for friends of many years.

Cabin was perfect for our family of four! Exactly as listed! So clean and cute! Great location! We loved the calm of the area vs South Lake Tahoe! We’d definitely love to stay again! Thank you

The cabin was quaint, clean and well equipped. A great location in Tahoma. Was perfect. We would rent again if we return to the area. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

3 friends weekend which we enjoyed. The cabin is cozy and comfortable with a nice view of the lake. It's a short walk down for the beach access which was perfect for us. There was a great restaurant Dog & Bear right across the main road which was delicious. Jennifer (host) was considerate to respond to any concerns we had quickly.

My best friend and I are both moms of young kiddos and take a yearly trip without the kids. This one was so perfect, snowy hot tub hangs and relaxation. The neighborhood was so quiet, and we walked to the little market and restaurants nearby.

This cabin rental was a disaster from start to finish.
It was a two story cabin, but we were not informed that there was no safety gate for the stairs. My infant son fell down the stairs .
There was no toilet paper or coffee in the cabin, even though they were promised in the pictures. We had to drive to the nearest store to get them ourselves.
The front steps were iced over and very hazardous. My daughter and mother both slipped and bruised themselves.
The back door did not lock securely, so we felt very vulnerable at night.
The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and the towels were not clean.
There were spiders under the beds and couch.
The hot tub was a mess. It took ages to heat up, and when it did, it was dirty and had broken pieces floating around. It was a health risk.
We were so fed up and unhappy with this cabin rental. We ended up leaving a day early. When we asked the owner for a refund, they were very hostile and unprofessional. They denied any responsibility and made is feel like we were lying or exaggerating. They gaslighted us and made us feel like we were crazy.
They are the worst hosts ever.
Do not book this cabin rental. It is a rip-off and a nightmare.

Wonderful cabin. So close to everything. Will definitely return.

This was perfect for us and our grandchildren. The property was just the right size for the 4 of us and perfect to walk to the beach where they spent lots of time swimming.
Close to other activities we wanted to do too. We had a wonderful time. Perfect location for us.
4.8
What an excellent stay at your wonderful Tahoe lake view cabin! 3 members of the group were competing in the triathlon nearby & all 3 did so well. We attribute all the successes to the peaceful, thoughtful accommodations and the surrounding beauty. What a treat! Thank you for the fantastic stay!!
4.8
Cozy cabin with a great deck and view of the lake and with a short downhill walk to pier and small beach. Restaurants just across the street a short walk away. Two bedrooms upstairs and bath. Small powder room off kitchen. Well equipped kitchen although we didn’t really cook …Chambers and Sunnyside are our favorite restaurants! Cabin has lots of parking.

This cabin was in a beautiful location. I got up early every morning to sit on the deck, read my book and enjoy the view of the lake and mountains. The kids enjoyed the easy walk to the beach. We visited Cult burger, got gelato(both delicous!), and walked to Tahoma Market for breakfast sandwiches and lunches, all a short walk away. We took a bit longer walk to Sugar Pine State Park and cooled off in the beautiful water at the beach there. This would have been a nice quick bike ride. Obexers was less than 10 min drive for our water sports and Crytal Bay 15 min drive. The only time we traveled further (about 50 min) was to mountain bike the flume trail and visit Sand Harbor. So much so close!
The cabin was perfect! We had 5 of us. Beds all comfy, the living room sat us all comfortably for movies at night, and the kitchen table was roomy. The kitchen was well equipped plenty of pots and pans, wine bottle opener and other utensils, dish washer detergent, laundry detergent etc... the deck was just the perfect setting. Hot tub was also great to have.
Being from CT, I was worried about no AC, but quickly learned how unnecessary it is with the nice cool nights.
I thought the cabin was decorated in a nice, modern, rustic fashion and done very tastefully.
Jennifer was quick to reply to any inquiries I had.
We all hope to return!

We are “regulars”, returning to this perfect Tahoe cabin every summer that we can. The views of the lake are wonderful, the decor is eclectic and fun and comfortable. You cannot beat the location. You’re so close to the water, walking distance to the Tahoma market, perfect bike rides or walks to Sugar Pine State Park, and Meeks Bay. We never want to leave!
4.8
Love this cabin. Recently updated and love the changes. Our 4th stay. Cozy, great location both summer and winter! Love the market down the street as well
4.8
There was an electric fence on the front door that we didn’t know about. It was intimidating. We also had trouble getting into the cabin itself and we were unable to get in touch with the host to get help. Fortunately, we were able to get in.
4.8
Very well set up cabin with a lake view and beach walking access. My mother and I enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was! We did need to understand the bear deterrent cords better and wished that was included in the check in instructions. Overall lovely spot and recommend it for folks who want a less hectic simply quiet experience at Lake Tahoe.

Very easy to rent.
Great communication from owner/agent

We cannot express how much we enjoyed staying in this lakeside property which was very easy to find.
The home owners have a clear attention to detail with each room furnished to a high degree.
The outside of the property matches the inside with clear instructions provided on how everything works.
A very short walk down a hill will see you arrive at the private beach which has a short pier .You can swim in the lake which is crystal clear.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and would like to thank the homeowners for their hospitality.

The cabin was just as hoped. Great location close to the lake with lovely views of the water. It was very well stocked, and the recommendations by the owner of local establishments was very useful. Will definitely be back.

We spent a weekend here to celebrate my 50th birthday. The cabin is adorable and has a beautiful view of the lake. Perfect location. Market and coffee shop are within walking distance. My only complaint was that the cabin was out of salt and pepper and there were no coffee sheets but these are minor things that didn’t affect our overall experience. We enjoyed the beautiful views of Lake Tahoe from the hot tub. I would definitely stay here again!

This was our 4th stay, and as awesome as the prior visits. Adorable old Tahoe style cabin with tremendous deck with lake view. Unbeatable location. Comfy beds. Small but great kitchen. You have a lake view doing the dishes! We biked everyday to Sugar Pine and Meek’s. Many hiking opportunities and lake swims. Tahoma Market has anything you need. Best ever sunrises and sunsets too. Owner Jennifer responsive and easy to work with.

We really enjoyed this darling cabin! The views are amazing and just a short walk to a neighborhood beach... It was clean, well stocked, and updated. We hope to return again next year!

We had a wonderful time and the location of the property was perfect. The hot tub was a nice way to unwind after a long day of hiking. And the views are hard to beat.

Tons of towels, good quality kitchen stuff, clear directions, clean, and comfortable. Plus, the lake view was amazing. We spent a lot of time out on the porch in the evenings. It isn’t always easy to find small cabins for just three people. I’m so glad we found this little gem.

Everything went smooth as far as checking in and good location with great view of the lake. Older cabin but well kept, would definitely come back.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the cabin and liked cozy downstairs and outside area. Getting into the cabin was tricky as the deadbolt got stuck. The back sliding door was also difficult to lock. We also learned that the hot tub took about 4 hours to actually heat up. We wish we would have known this in advance as we would have turned it on as soon as we arrived. We were disappointed to find the upstairs was not updated as nicely as the first floor. It has old carpet that gave off a musty smell. Also the bed in the main room was not on any sort of frame or platform, rather it was a mattress sitting on top of a box spring that was directly on the musty old carpet 🤮. For that reason we ended up sleeping in the second bedroom with the bunk beds. The cabin also had old heaters and thermostats, old light fixtures upstairs etc. We just felt for the price there was very little done on the upstairs to make it feel cozy and rustic like the downstairs. I guess we weren’t paying for an updated cabin but rather the location and view, which was spectacular.
