Nice home within walking distance of downtown Charleston. We really enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay in this beautifully renovated historic home! It had everything we needed for our stay and was Very clean. It was convenient to everything! We certainly got our steps in each day but that was good with all the food we ate! Super nice to have parking on site too! We only drive one day to see the plantations otherwise we walked to all we needed to see! Can’t wait to come back!

The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The house was close enough to walk to everything and we loved the coffee shop right across the street. Frank was a great host!

The charm of the old house combined with modern amenities made this the perfect place for us to stay! The location was excellent - we walked or took a bike taxi everywhere. Although small, it was just the size we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Great space for a family of four. Beds were comfy but could use firmer pillows. Also when guest are there it would be nice to take the Nest off regular schedule. Everyday when we would come back the upstairs would be 87° and it would take awhile to cool back down. If you don't mind walking it's a great location. We rarely drove, and that was nice to get out and take in the sights from that perspective. Fun stay! Would love to go back again.

We enjoyed staying here. The home had all we needed. It was thoughtfully put together. We were all very comfortable. The on-site parking with a gate that can be closed when we went to bed was a great plus.

Place checked all the boxes. Staying one street over from King Street and at the top allowed us to experience all of the Historic City as we walked closer to Broad St and the surrounding attractions. The house was clean and we would stay again if ever in the area. Thank you.

Our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids; 13 and 9) stayed in this charming house for a few days in July. We were mostly out touring but this house was perfect for a brief respite in the afternoon and complete comfort in the evenings. We also enjoyed mornings on the porch. Quiet location and close proximity to downtown. Walkable if you’re up to it (1 mile), supremely easy to find an Uber. Felt like home away from home, even if for a brief visit (4 days). The host was very prompt, attentive and helpful with any questions.

We enjoyed our stay here, the location was great and close to some great restaurants. Having the Island Provision coffee shop nearby was such a treat too! The house itself was well stocked and beautiful. We found it quite comfortable.

The house was within walking distance to the visitor's center and restaurants, bars and shops. On 2 occasions we walked to local restaurants and also walked to the visitor center and the area around it.

Great location and property just as described. Owner was great in communication prior to arrival so the house was not only ready but the check in was easy. Loved the location across from Provisions to grab a coffee in the morning. Nice common areas in the house as well making it easy to just hang out. Really liked the gated closure to the driveway too. Thank you for helping make a fun weekend!

Really detailed check-in information, parking on premise very helpful. Neighborhood with many nice places to hang out. Communication with owner worked perfectly. The house itself had all we could ask for, really recommended. Only thing we would recommend is updating the outdoor furniture which had been stored outside over the winter and would not have been usable when we were there (but we did not need it, so no problem for us at the time).

This property was perfectly located to walk to the shops and restaurants on King Street. The old historic home had beautiful updates throughout and was very comfy for myself and three of my family members. Would book again!

We spent 4 nights here and had a great time. Frank was proactive and very quick to respond. The location can’t be beat since you’re so close to King Street and all the incredible restaurants. The only “negative” which isn’t the hosts’ fault at all: the bar across the street was blasting music until 2am (caveat: it was New Year’s Eve, not sure if they do that every Friday and Saturday).
We would happily return!

This 1850s house is very nicely renovated and maintained. The location is utterly incredible for where Charleston's action now is. Walked to dinner each night at some of the best spots in town and there's more we didn't have time for within blocks. It was super clean, didn't see a single bug/fly the entire time, felt special staying here with our private driveway/gate. There's a new store across the street called Island Provisions that is A+++. As others have mentioned, the bar across the street can be loud on Fri/Sat nights. Worth keeping in mind if you're concerned. We joked about how we would have been there having fun but now travel with two kids instead. The back bedroom is insulated from any noise.

Easy distance from conference at the Hyatt and better yet, a block from Chubby Fish!

The house is spotless clean, exactly like it appears in the pictures, and is only 1 1/2 blocks Kings Street. We didn't move our car from the driveway the whole time that we were there. Also about a block from the free bus line stop. We had an issue with the shower and owner took care of it quickly. I was a little unnerved by the homeless people next door. (That was on me; they in no way did anything to make me feel that way.) Several reviews mentioned the street noise. Yes it is the city. I used a sound APP on my phone and was perfectly fine. I would stay there again.

We had an amazing time! The property was extremely close to all the action on King St. Ubering to the beach was an easy trip. We walked roughly 50 miles during our week stay. The property was perfect for four women.
