Third family holiday at Crossfeld.
Third family holiday at Crossfeld. Very high quality accommodation in excellent location with good parking for a number of cars. Lots of space. Sleeps 8 in comfort and all facilities - dining table, lounge armchairs/sofas etc all are very comfortable for 8. Three bathrooms and four TVs also cater for that number. Very pleased and will return. Already booked for nect year.

A large, modern 'bungalow' with plenty of room for 8 - so it seemed a bit wasted on our group of 5!

This property was the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in.
This property was the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. Perfect for two families as the bedrooms were in separate parts of the house. Fantastic location with just a short walk into Keswick. Extremely well equipped and comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone thinking of holidaying in the Lakes.

When we were last at 'Crossfeld', it was new on the market and was in excellent condition.
When we were last at 'Crossfeld', it was new on the market and was in excellent condition. Returning 2 years later we were amazed at how it is still immaculate and very well cared for both inside and out. It is indeed like the 'Tardis', and provided more than ample space for our 4 generations ( 3 years - 89 years) and is in a great location with shops and countryside in walking distance . The weather was generally kind to us, but we know that had we had to spend days indoors we would not have been on top of one another. The only minus I would mention is not very sharp kitchen knives and rather worn saucepans, apart from that excellent equipment. We are already looking forward to a return visit.

A wonderful cottage for our visit.
A wonderful cottage for our visit. Light, airy and spacious, beautiful views, great location and super clean. Will definitely return on our next trip to Keswick.

Location excellent.
Location excellent. 15 minutes walk into the centre of Keswick, local Spar 100m away. Able to park cars off the road and use the public transport. Very comfortable, high standard accommodation.
We made full use of the garden furniture in the sunny weather. Pretty garden with lovely flowering shrubs. Good walking from the front door. Although we thought the accommodation was outstanding, we felt the price for the Easter bank holiday weekend was very expensive.

Excellent holiday.
Excellent holiday. Beautiful location. Perfect for a large family. One comment to help improve would be for more dustbins as these soon become full with so many occupants.

We took 3 disabled people with us so 5 adults. There was more than I had hoped for; 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor (both had their own toilets, one en suite). The sitting room was lovely and spacious, looking out onto the nearby hills, the dining room and kitchen were spacious.
The upstairs had a room that we could use as a sitting room (we just never had the time) and 2 spacious twin bedrooms.
The house was spotlessly clean and that was a delight, the furniture comfortable, the decor pleasing. We were able to go out every day without too much travelling to get to places of interest, the shops are close, the views from the house are beautiful. I recommend this home without reservation and would certainly return.
