A characterful barn conversion ideal for a couple and their pet. Excellent walking routes from the door.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair available on request. Enclosed lawned garden with garden furniture. Ample parking. No smoking.. This delightful farm holiday cottage dates back to the 1640s and adjoins the owner’s impressive home which stands in its own grounds and mature gardens. Sienna Cottage features exposed beams and sloping ceilings, with pretty windows at floor level in the bedroom, enabling you to enjoy the pleasant views from the comfort of your bed. It is an ideal location for a romantic getaway in a peaceful area.
The cottage is situated on the edge of the unspoilt Peak District village of Monyash, just 4 miles from Bakewell; the delightful market town at the heart of the Peak District. During your stay be sure to add a meander around the picturesque village of Monyash and an afternoon exploring the shops and eateries in Bakewell to your agenda. Whilst this isn’t a coastal destination, you may think twice if you stumble across Matlock Bath, with its seaside-like row of amusement arcades and fish and chip shops. Also close by is the Heights of Abraham, sure to make for a great day out if you like caverns and cable cars that is - there’s something for everyone here and the scenery is not to be missed. Not forgetting about the sheer beauty of your surroundings; walking and cycling in this area proves to be popular and there are lots of unique country pubs around to finish your adventure with a reward. A stay in Sienna Cottage is certain to draw you back to this charming area time and again.
