We had a fantastic break at this lovely cottage. Di was there to welcome us with homemade cake and also shared plums picked from her beautiful garden. The cottage was exactly what we'd wanted - so peaceful and relaxing. Lovely days out to Aldburgh, Southwold, Framlingham Castle and Sutton Hoo.

Clean, warm and comfortable with a friendly owner.
Clean, warm and comfortable with a friendly owner. As the property is in a rural location (which we much prefer) there aren't really any 'local' amenities, nearest real shopping is probably Ipswich, about 6 miles to the 'Park and ride' site, which is certainly the best option rather than finding parking in Ipswich itself. Other than that, the property is an ideal base for exploring a County that we'd little previous experience of, and at the time of our visit we went over to Bury St Edmunds for their annual "Xmas Market/Fair," over 300 stalls making it probably the largest in England so a good day out. Norwich, Lowestoft and Yarmouth also within an hour or so's drive.

A clean comfortable cottage situated on a quiet country road it was very nice to be woken by birdsong every morning.Although a little isolated it was nice to be away from the hubhub of modern life.a chance to relax and pursue life at ones own pace.

This cottage is spacious, nicely furnished and really lived up to expectations.
This cottage is spacious, nicely furnished and really lived up to expectations. Di and Don are absolutely charming owners who really make you welcome- home made cake and plums from their orchard were lovely touches to our stay. It was an ideal location in terms of our work commitments (Theatre company performing at Sutton Hoo estate for the Bank Holiday weekend) and we enjoyed some rest and relaxation in the garden and nearby walks. Would certainly recommend and we hope to return ourselves in the future. Thank you very much.

We had a lovely time visiting family in aldeburgh.
We had a lovely time visiting family in aldeburgh. The cottage although nice needed updating. The couches were very low and uncomfortable and the 4 single beds definately needed replacing to zip and link more comfortable up to date beds and new pillows were a must. Unfortunately not the owners fault but we had no hot water only tepid which was a shame and am sure they have now dealt with the problem 2 stools in the kitchen would have been nice. On the whole we had a lovely time but comfort is so important. I would recommend this cottage with its lovely garden
