The terraced holiday cottage is tucked away in a quiet village in a corner of the Lake District with easy access to the south and west lakes. An ideal base for walking parties with Black Combe, the Old Man of Coniston and Langdale Fells all within easy reach. The area abounds in history, interesting places to visit include Muncaster Castle, Ravensglass and Eskdale Steam Railway and the village of Hawkshead (home of Beatrix Potter) all excellent day trips. Watersports, pony-trekking, fishing and many nature reserves are all easily accessible. Shops and pub 50 yards, restaurant 75 yards.
