Super easy just from a lockbox
The bed upstairs was broken, but there was enough to sleep us all.

We arrived around 10:30 pm and easily found a parking space on the street in front of the house. Despite the darkness, locating the house was straightforward. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised. The house is very spacious, having a large kitchen and a small garden with a BBQ grill. The wooden floors, albeit a bit squeaky, add to the charm of the house given its age.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We ensured to clean the house upon our departure, including the bins and dishes, hoping to provide the cleaners enough time to mop the floors for the next group of guests (see my comments about what we didn't like).
Having a Londis convenience shop in front of the house was a great bonus
One aspect that disappointed us was the lack of toilet paper in all the bathrooms. While this might have been acceptable during the day, at 10 pm, options to purchase any were limited. However, there was soap available in the bathrooms, which was a small positive. Additionally, the floor on the ground floor was sticky, with leftover food residues around the dining table, indicating that it hadn't been cleaned or mopped after the last guests. We all wore slippers as walking in socks alone felt unhygienic. It appears that whoever cleaned the house did not do a thorough job.

All fabulous!
Struggled to open the lock box.

Spacious, large enough to feel spread out as a group of seven.
The property needs some work, water is leaking in the kitchen and front room as soon as it rains. It was also hard to sleep in the top floor with the velux window in bad weather.

House was very modern and well equipt facilities.
Location was a little out of the way of most attractions. The bath on the top floor didnt drain water very well and our last 3 days we had very early wake up calls from the house next door, drilling (hacking off) the walls as renovating the house. Obviously not hosts fault but not what you want when you were on holidays and trying to relax. Good job we.went out sight seeing every day otherwise we could not have had a day staying in to relax due to the noise of the work next door.

In great condition. on Main Street. easy parking everywhere. local amenities literally across the road.
no stair gates at top or bottom of stairs.

it’s a very noisy property, maybe carpet on the stairs and hallway would help.

deceptively spacious and well equipped house. catered for two families easily. on street parking but we didn’t have a problem. coast nearby, lovely sand dune walks with dog. nearby caravan park has bar / restaurant within easy walking distance and water sports. local shop across the road well stocked, two pubs on the same street. plenty to do but slightly away from crowds in the Lakes. had a lovely day out at Muncaster Castle.

The cottage was extremely well presented and parking was immediately outside the property and whilst it was on street parking, we never encountered any issues. Whilst the amenities at the property were quite minimal they were sufficient for our needs. Haverigg is a small settlement and whilst the property was immediately on the back edge of the footpath we never encountered and noise or disturbance during our stay. The small convenience store on the opposite side of the road was well stocked and the fish and chip shop always seemed to be busy. The nearest supermarket (Tesco) was just over a mile away in Millom. All of the bedrooms were spacious and have either fitted cupboards or hanging space for clothing etc. All bedrooms also have a TV and the open plan living arrangement in the ground floor works really well. It was very much home from home.
The cottage sleeps 8 people and it is large enough to comfortably accommodate either a large family, two families or groups of friends. However, whilst there were sufficient cups, glasses and mugs, there was not sufficient corckery or cutlery if the property were hosting 8 guests.

Everything was wonderful, so well taken care of well thought out, So clean and the beds were soooo comfy, it was more than we expected the Standard of accommodation was wonderful, the pictures are spot on! I give it 11 out 10 and really made it a great stay as we could bring our dog with us and relax knowing everything we needed to have a comfortable stay was there.
I am recommending this property to all of my family and friends. Booking.com made it so easy to check in and out the whole booking process from start to finish was hassle free.
Haverigg is a lovely little village on the coast and the locals were so friendly, the local chippy was excellent, the beach and coastal walks were excellent. Overall we had a thoroughly relaxing weekend break.
I have no complaints what so ever 😄
