We enjoyed everything about our stay in this cute beach cottage. The only improvement we could suggest is to upgrade the mattress and pillows. We appreciated the cute decor, the comfortable couch and table, and the supplied dishware and coffee. The patio is absolutely gorgeous, especially with lighting at night.

Ample parking, very safe neighborhood in walking distance of Trader Joe's, the beach is just a bikeride straight down the street. However, above and beyond the owner clearly cares about the property. It may not be brand new, but it's immaculate and the bathroom looks like it was recently redone.

Everything was wonderful except the bed was rock hard with flat pillows. A nice feather mattress and pillows, (4)instead of two would have elevated the stay to luxury.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights as we were going to a wedding in La Jolla which is about 4 miles away. Exactly as described on website. Close to shops and restaurants. Host replied quickly and was super helpful when we got in touch. If I was being picky I would say there was no kettle for cups of tea however we just ran the coffee make through a few times and used that to heat water. Would definitely stay here again.

I can't say enough good things about my stay at the Sea Star Cottage. The cottage itself is adorable. I felt so safe the entire time, it's cozy, comfy with an AC unit, bathroom is so clean. There's a fridge (perfect for storing my snacks I picked up throughout the day) and a microwave. It's behind a fence, so it feels secluded from the road and very safe. Jeff and Andi are great hosts. They let me drop my bags off a few hours before check-in behind the cottage, where they were secure. The location is excellent! Pacific Beach is such a cool neighborhood and exactly the San Diego vibes you'd imagine. The cottage is 10 blocks from the beach. Bring some comfy sneakers and you can walk to so many restaurants, bars, the beach, Mission Blvd, Garnet Ave. You can even walk to Mission Beach along the boardwalk. If you Uber/drive to other areas, everything feels just about 10-15 minutes away. Very easy and convenient location. I can't wait to return to San Diego and stay at the Sea Star Cottage again! Bonus: Bode the French bulldog is sooo cute!

Super cute cottage had everything we needed! It’s in a great location central to all of the areas we wanted to visit and even walking distance to the beach. The hosts were super friendly and helpful as well.

This cottage was the perfect spot for a month long stay…….ideal walkable location, cute, clean and well equipped for light housekeeping. The hosts were very attentive and accommodating. Great security, safe neighbourhood feel, and gorgeous patio/yard. Would definitely consider another stay. Thank you, Jeff and Andi!

This was my 6th stay at this cute beach studio. It’s my go to whenever I’m visiting San Diego. Bathroom is a convenient layout with instant hot water. The long counter above the sink is great for organizing toiletries. The grounds are beautiful and the furnishings are very comfortable. Lots of natural light but closes up tight for the evening. The space heater is plenty to warm the room and is silent. I’ll be back! Highly recommended!

I love the avocado tree in the back yard, we introduced ourselves to the hosts and they offered to pick some avocados for us! I can’t wait to eat them! Super kind host and the room was exactly what we needed. Great Wi-Fi, my boyfriend and I could both work and get on calls with no issue.

We had such a nice visit to San Diego and loved staying in the Sea Star Cottage. Everything was effortless - check-in was smooth, we always found a great street parking spot and found the location to be ideal - easy to walk around PB and easy to drive to many great spots! One thing I wanted to mention, Jeff and Andi have provided a portable room air conditioner which we greatly appreciated. There are a few weeks out of the year where it is warm in SD and we visited during one of those weeks. The air made our stay that much more comfortable - thank you! We highly recommend Sea Star and hosts Jeff and Andi. Thank you!

This cottage is wonderful - beautifully decorated, had the amenities needed for 1-2 people, and was a 20 minute walk to the beach, with restaurants and coffee also within easy walking distance. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place to stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed my second stay here. The garden view is beautiful, I just wish I could reach the avocados in the massive tree! Every bit as clean and comfortable as my first stay. Highly recommended!

I couldn't rate my stay at the Sea Star Cottage more highly, if you are a single adult. The room was very clean. It was well-appointed. The location is just 10 blocks from the beach: a very pleasant walk, if you're blessed with nice weather, which is usually the case in San Diego. I was on the go quite a bit during my three-day stay, but Marvin and Adrienne were friendly and helpful when I did meet them. I also think the cottage would have been perfect for a romantic interlude or getaway for a couple!

The cottage is equipped with every comfort. Spotlessly clean for a charming beach cottage. Shower heats up quickly, silent room heater, toaster, microwave, small refrigerator/freezer, dinette set looking out of a picture window to an English garden type yard with a massive avocado tree. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to returning in June!

This is a great little cottage. The main room and bathroom are plenty roomy. Everything was very clean (the instructions indicated that they wash all the bedding, including blankets, after each guest, which you hope is the case, but I’m not convinced happens at some other places I’ve stayed). Nice backyard to enjoy the good weather. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.
