We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. The Barn had everything we needed (including dedicated off road parking space and bike storage, small area to sit outside which got the afternoon/early evening sun), and was decorated to a high standard with lots of nice finishing touches. The Host, Rachel, was very helpful, making contact before we arrived with details of arrival etc.. Furthermore, there was a lovely welcome pack. The spiral staircase was not an issue for us. Extremely comfortable bed & pillows. The location proved excellent for exploring the New Forest. The only downside was the road noise from the surprisingly busy Burley Street to Burley road, as the property is just adjacent. The shower cubicle was a bit small for my husband, but this is a minor issue as it was hot and powerful. Overall though, I would definitely recommend.

Amazing stay at the Barn.
Amazing stay at the Barn. It was magical with the Christmas tree and candles lit on arrival with music in the background. The welcome from the owners was very friendly. There was a complimentary bottle of wine and mince pies waiting for us too. Would definitely recommend this place and we will be back too.

The Barn really was fantastic, it has everything you would need & more even including a Teapot!!. The location is ideal for exploring the New Forest , you can easily start your walking or cycling adventures from the doorstep. So many places to visit near by or a short journey to the coast by vehicle.
We had the most amazing week there & really could not fault it in any way.

This is my second visit to the Barn.
This is my second visit to the Barn. I'm generally pleased with this holiday let, it's in a quiet location but there are plenty of shops and other amenities in Ringwood. The New Forest is ideal for me as I go on walking holidays and have friends in South Hampshire. I could have done with an egg poacher and there needs to be better instructions for the coffee making machine, I couldn't find how to fill it with water! The wifi has improved since my last visit and there is now a DVD player.

The barn was a great place to unwind. The owners are nearby on site and we welcoming at the same time as giving us space to enjoy the property and the garden.
It was a treat to BBQ every night after being locked down without a garden this year.
We visited great local beaches and enjoyed the forest. Would recommend the Three Tuns Pub nearby which had a great socially distanced system set up in their Beer garden.
A lovely escape

We had an excellent stay at The Barn and found it the perfect place for some post Christmas relaxation. Despite being geared up for couples, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our one year old who found it great to explore the open plan living. The visit was made extra special by the well thought out welcome with drinks and treats left by Rachel for us to enjoy. All in all an excellent and enjoyable stay. We will definitely be looking to visit again and highly recommend it.

Our recent holiday proved everything good we had read about this property. It certainly deserved to be awarded the Customer Choice Award.
We had tried on many earlier occasions to book, but it was always occupied for the times we had wanted and we can now see why, We are very glad we persevered! Excellent all round. Nothing was too much trouble for Rachel - the owner. Would very much recommend The Barn to others but please allow us some time to return!

I had a good holiday with plenty of walking, although the ground was very wet there are good gravel tracks if you look for them. Plus if weather is bad there are things to do in Ringwood, Bournemouth and Southampton not too far away.
The facilities were good with a well equipped kitchen and a large open plan main room with plenty of light through large French windows. A DVD player would have been useful. The accommodation was clean and everything worked. The bed was very comfortable. All in all I felt very much "at home" in the Barn.
