Bay View is in a lovely location right on the coast with views of the sea. If you love beach walking in unspoiled areas, this is definitely for you. The beach itself is a little challenging to access if you have mobility issues as there has been landslides and rockfall recently, but the beach is fabulous and it’s easy to walk as far as Filey.
The house is adequate and comfortable- no luxury and trimmings, essentially quite basic, but well equipped, if a little mismatched. It’s rather like a home belonging to the 90s, but really there’s everything you need and it’s priced reasonably and being where it is, is what makes it special. Garden is huge, although it does get boggy in rain, but loads of beach toys in the shed to use. Our grandchildren loved the house and location and dogs enjoyed the beach walks. Families not looking for fancy frills in terms of decor and high spec finishes, will really love this place, especially if they have dogs. Area is fantastic for things to do and it’s close to plenty of amenities for all ages.
