The Dell is a lovely unique property with a wonderful garden. Right in the centre of town and a few minutes from the beach. Only downside was the property was very cold and very limited information provided to use appliances. We had rain on the last day and as previous guests have mentioned, the rain does come through the kitchen window. Would stay again but maybe in the warmer months.

We had a lovely week in Dell cottage.
We had a lovely week in Dell cottage. It was comfy and cosy and had everything we need. Beach on the doorstep and shop and pubs nearby.
Our little jackapoo loved the garden!
We had the luxury of Netflix so had plenty to watch when we stayed ‘home’. One little thing.....a bigger tv would be perfect!
Thank you to the owners for the milk and the welcome basket....very nice touch.

Lovely quaint cottage, we were a couple so only used the double room.
Lovely quaint cottage, we were a couple so only used the double room. Bed really comfy but very squeaky! Good kitchen with plenty of equipment etc. Didn't use the dishwasher as only 2 of us. Lounge cosy and warm with the central heating, felt the layout wouldn't suit a bigger group but chairs comfy enough for us. The conservatory was lovely too, used the table when we ate in. Would have like a couple of comfy chairs in there to sit and enjoy the garden. Bathroom good and the shower great with plenty of room to get in and out!
Location is great, so close to the beach and the village. Mundesley is a great little place with enough shops to satisfy, good cafes too and a chinese takeway.
Overall a great week for me, hubby and our dog.

We have been visiting Norfolk since 2004.
We have been visiting Norfolk since 2004. I have to say that Dell Cottage is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in. Upon arrival we were immediately impressed with the Cottage and its walled garden. The Cottage was warm even on the coldest days and the bedrooms were very comfortable. A very comfortable lounge was excellent to rest in after a day trip to nearby Cromer and meals in the conservatory with a glass of wine made the perfect end to the day. The kitchen and Bathroom/Shower were better than we have at home. I was concerned about Parking as the roads around have double yellow lines, however, we needn't have worried as there is 2 dedicated parking bays next to the garden wall. Excellent Cottage !!.

Excellent cottage.
Excellent cottage. The cottage is relatively small but there is a huge conservatory and a massive garden. (As a previous reviewer noted, a large dog might be able to jump over the low wall at the end.) The cottage was extremely well equipped. We only ate in and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a few issues during the week and the owner was helpful and responsive. Location was absolutely fantastic - you are 2 mins walk from the beautiful beach which was relatively quiet even in the first week of summer. Good facilities in the village including surf hire and crazy golf.

Dell Cottage is full of character.
Dell Cottage is full of character. The garden is both huge and gorgeous, especially if you have dogs with you. It is enclosed and safe. Ours dogs would have had a great holiday if they had stayed in the garden the whole time.
It is a one minute walk to the pub and a further minute to the beach, which is dog friendly once you get 50 yards away from where you enter the beach area. You can walk for miles with the dogs along the beach if you wish. The beach is practically empty of people apart from a 100 metre area around the promenade.
Owner is accessible when needed and very professional.
I highly recommend Dell Cottage if you want a quiet holiday in a very private environment, but close to the beach. Don't expect night life, but enjoy a small village atmosphere, quiet beach and access to lovely countryside.
