Good points: brilliant location. This was our proper stay in Norfolk and we loved it, will definitely visit the area again. Playing field was great.
Not-so-good points: the whole booking, paying and checking in experience was dreadful. I made several attempts to ask about extending the checking out time before booking and had no response. My payment didn’t go through and I had to wait on hold for ages to pay via Cottages.com. I got a booking confirmation but no check in details. On arrival the reception staff rolled their eyes as soon as I mentioned Vrbo. Understandably, they couldn’t help me with the check in, so my husband and I spent an hour and a half trying to get help over the phone and via chat. After a three hour drive, and with an increasingly feral four year old, this was obviously not ideal.
Our actual stay was fine. Well equipped chalet, comfy beds, decent shower. The bedroom curtains let a lot of light in and we couldn’t use the extra blankets / throws as they smelt doggy.
On our last morning we didn’t quite make it out in time for the 9am check out and the cleaner was very impatient. Fair enough, but I had tried to make it an hour later and we did wait ages to get in!
TL,DR: stay here, but don’t book via Vrbo. And be prepared to get up and get out early.

We had a lovely stay with our 3 year old, she didn't want to go home! It's a lovely park, quiet and family friendly which suits us perfectly! It was possible to walk down some (steep) steps onto the quiet end of the beach a short walk from the park or it's a lovely walk down to the pier end through a wood and along the cliffs. We mainly chose the latter as we have a pull along waggon for all our beach bits! The walk back is uphill but I recommend getting an ice cream from one of the lovely ice cream shops in the town before heading back to give you a sugar rush! Cromer is great and has a variety of places to eat but you may need to book in the current situation. The park is a short drive to supermarkets and the chalet is very well equipped for cooking an evening meal, there's even a slimline dishwasher so no one has to wash up! The park could do with a laundry but I think there is one in Cromer so will try that next time, there is an airer in the chalet so you can handwash and dry your beach stuff (there's a iron and board too!). The park is kept immaculate by the park owners and the chalet is clean and well maintained by the chalet owners. Whilst the chalet is not huge (they rarely are!) it was more than adequate for us 3 as it is so well thought out and equipped down to there being a fan for hot weather and it has plenty of heating for colder times. There aren't any wardrobes but there are places to hang things up, to be honest you mainly need beach wear anyway! All in all, we had s lovely stay and we will be coming back!

Tiny but perfect chalet - I'd say it's just right for 2 adults but 4 people might be a squeeze.
