About this cabin rental
While Angel’s View has plenty to please just about everyone, it’s especially well-suited for several couples vacationing together: There is a bedroom, a bathroom, a sitting area, and a deck on each of its 3 floors, ensuring optimal privacy. And thanks to a queen-size sofa bed and two chair beds, the custom-built log home can sleep as many as 10 people.
Once you step out onto those decks, you’ll understand how Angel’s View got its name. The vistas of the Smoky Mountains are spectacular. You can savor the scenery from rocking chairs, a deck swing or, most pampering of all, a hot tub. Feeling the caress of the fresh breeze while you laze among steamy jets of water is a sensory delight.
The covered front porch is another delightful space for reveling among the sun-dappled trees during the day and the trilling of whip-poor-wills at night. Kick back in one of the rocking chairs or bring a drink and a snack to the patio table: Relaxation is practically guaranteed.
Of the three bedrooms, one has a king-size bed and the others have queen size beds. Each bedroom also has a TV and plenty of storage—though Angel’s View has its own washer and dryer, you can bring just a small bag with you. The top floor, in addition to a primary suite, includes a spacious sitting area where you can stretch out with a book, surf the web via the free Wi-Fi, or indulge in a nap.
The living/dining/kitchen area makes up most of the main floor. With its flat-screen TV, Blu-ray and DVD players, Xbox, and library of movies, the living area is sure to be a favorite hangout spot. The golden glow from the wood-burning fireplace makes the space even more enticing and shows off the oak floors to perfection. And once you sink into those plush couches, you might never want to get back up!
The dining table easily seats six, and there’s room for three more at the adjacent breakfast bar. The custom kitchen will appeal to any aspiring Top Chef: In addition to the full array of appliances, cookware, and tableware, it boasts a wealth of gleaming granite counter spaces, a handy island, and plenty of room for several sous chefs.
Like the other floors, the main level has a restful bedroom and a bathroom.
Along with the third bedroom and bathroom, the downstairs hosts the game room, the centerpiece of which is a full-size pool table. If you’re too exhausted from your day on the go to shoot pool, you can zone out in the TV nook, where you’ll find yet another perfectly cushioned sofa.
Angel’s View is located in Gatlinburg’s private Cobbly Nob community, itself set within a 1,000-acre resort. When you stay here in the summer you can swim in the neighborhood’s two outdoor pools, one of which is within walking distance of the cabin. Mon's Way now features a brand-new heated, saltwater pool, just a 7-minute walk through the mountains from Angel's View. And the golfers in your group will be delighted to know that less than two miles away is the Bent Creek Golf Course, designed by British Open champion Gary Player.
Less than 15 minutes from Angel’s View are the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, an 8-mile trail of more than 120 galleries, studios, and shops, as well as two of the little known entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can enjoy hiking, trout fishing and spectacular scenery. Drive a bit farther and you’ll be in downtown Gatlinburg, home to the Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, thrill rides, arcades, and more. One town over, in Pigeon Forge, are Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, the Tanger Outlet Mall, dinner theaters, and more fun.
When you stay at Angel’s View you can do it all—or you can do nothing at all but bask in the beauty of your surroundings. Go ahead and book your stay today… before someone else beats you to it!

This place is amazing, the view is beyond beautiful, is well equipped with everything you need, the drive up the mountain can be a little scary but is well worth it

We were happy with the home. The view is the best part!

This is our 3rd year visiting the Smokey mountains, this cabin has had the best views so far. Super clean! Kitchen was fully stocked. Did missed have an ice machine, we just got a bag of ice. The only thing we would love to have was a baby gate for the stairs. 10 out of 10 would recommend for all age family like ours! They had a little bit for all!

Great communication. Great views! We had a blast!

Extremely clean and well equipped, homey cabin. With three levels and balconies on each level there are incredible vistas on every floor, and room for a large family to spread out. Lovely area in basement with pool table and open area for children to play. Only a short drive to Gatlinburg, but situated in a beautifully quiet area near the top of a mountain where you can be gently awakened by glorious birdsong. This is our favorite mountain getaway.

The property has a great view, and the amenities were great. Location was excellent, and very cozy. Wireless internet was good. There was only three things wrong with the property.
1. One of the sliding screen doors came off the track when we tried to open it.
2. The hot tub was not hooked up or running when we got there and the water had a stagnant smell to it.
3. The ladybugs, dead and alive, we're everywhere!

Family trip
It was a good place and view was awesome. Pictures are deceiving .Cabin needs a lot of updates . Had broken doors in kitchen and bedroom. Hot tub bubbles did not work.
Saw a bear right outside the front door .

The view was gorgeous and accommodations were as described. Upon driving up to the cabin there were 3 bears on the porch.
The roads however are very steep and skinny. There are no street lights or barriers on the sides of roads that have ditches and ravines on either side. We were detoured all the way around the mountain more than once where a map was left out for us to figure out how to leave. Could not leave after dark too dangerous to drive back. We’ve stayed in mountain cabins before and did not have this same experience so be prepared. There is no cell service at all. Thankfully the WiFi works in the cabin. During our stay there were also thunderstorms. The top level door to the deck would fly open and the swing on the main level would slam against the house (very loud and scary) just to be prepared so you know what the awful sounds are just in case.

Great stay
Great experience at Angel's View. Quaint cabin tucked away with a great view of the mountains. Very close to Gatlinburg and easy to access parts of the Smokys that don't have as much traffic. Only issue we ran into was a large population of ladybugs that wanted to enter the cabin every afternoon.

Great Cabin
Love the cabin....saw few bears in the bottom of the mountain...

The view was beautiful from all three decks . The house accommodated all 5 adults well except the pull out couch was horrible to sleep on. You definitely need a new mattress . The sink in the master bath and the kitchen were draining really slow so they need a good cleaning. You also need some new cooking pans. The roads getting to the cabin are very steep but the views from the deck are spectacular. We had a great time .

Truly an Angel’s view
Well equipped. Great location. Plenty of room. For the most part, the property and furniture Is in good condition. Could use a little TLC for small things... ie. Window / door screens, window blinds, light fixtures, etc...

Great home away from home, in a unique environment
This a great property, very clean and with an unobstructed view of the mountains. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

Special place for our “special” family
We came up as a family from Pensacola Florida. We have a very special needs child and it was absolutely perfect for him. Everything about our stay was lovely! We will most definitely come back again in the future. Thank you!

Very comfortable, cozy & acommodating for a lg family get away with all of the conveniences of home.
Angel's view was perfect for our large family of 10 with a convenient layout for separate sleeping areas for all of the couples and teens. We had trouble accessing the internet the first day and could not use the Roku tv but the problem resolved itself and we had no major issues the rest of our stay. The cabin was also further out than what the description portrayed - it was not really convenient to Pigeon Forge at all. We had to make alternate plans for picking up Thanksgiving dinner and had to make special plans to take trips to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge since it was more like a 30+ min. drive to either place. However, the views were amazing, the cabin was fully stocked with all of the amenities including irons, ironing board, hairdryers, games and all of the linens and kitchen items you will need. The time away with the family was a memorable one and we plan to make this an annual tradition!

Good
The area was beautiful. The cabin was very nice and clean. The only concern was the cabin needed new pillows and mattress for the pull out couches. Everything else was perfect.

Place was ok
I will think now before I book any cabin at Smokey mountain

Great stay, at a great location and home
This is one of several times we've stayed at Angels View. And still what a place. Highly recommend it for a great get a way. The family and guest will just love the home. The drive up is a small challenge but once there you will just love it.

Perfect
Everything was just as described and pictured. The view is amazing, can't ask for a better view! Everything was fully functional and the kitchen was fully stocked. Loved our stay here! Close to downtown and pigeon forge so lots to do and a warm hot tub to come home to. My kids loved having their own floor.

Amazing
Upon our arrival, just looking at the outside we knew it would be perfect! We loved the view that each deck had to offer! We made great use of the hot tub & pool table! What made the trip even more magical was waking up to see all the snow, even better it snowed while we were in the hot tub! The cabin was perfect for our spring break getaway! We will be coming back for sure!

The view was beautiful. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed the hot tub. However, The house was advertised to have a hot tub and a jetted tub which was a selling point for us because we were traveling with small children who are too young for the hot tub and they would have been able to enjoy the tub where we could better control the temperature and depth of the water. Also, there was some trouble with the electrical - some outlets worked and some did not and the heating was very inconsistent. We found ourselves opening windows in the night to keep from sweating even with the thermostat on 65 or less. We also feel like all the mattresses need replaced.
4.3
the cabin was clean, and the view was nice. the upper sleeping area was full.of wasps, and the beautiful indoor jaccuzi tub only filled at a small trickle, and did not get hot. the cabin will sleep 10 with fold out beds but there are no blinds or curtains in those areas, so sleep became a challenge. in the lower level shower/tub the shower did not work and the tub did not hold water. the outdoor hot tub took a day and a half to heat, which was quite frustrating for my husband, as the only request he had for our accommodations was that there be a place for him to soak. it was also greenish and smelled. the bedding was all clean, but the blankets were super super thin. the kitchen was well equppied.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
This was our first family vacation in over 10 years if not more. The entire family loved the cabin and the surrounding area (22-50 y.o)! We had a beautiful view and it was so peaceful and relaxing! Would recommend staying here to our friends and family.

Upon arrival the beds were not made. Other than the beds not being made the cabin was very clean and everything else was as very nice. A mother bear and her 2 cubs came for a visit twice a day which was a treat for the grandkids. We love going to the Great Smokey Mountains and will go again in the near future.

We had a wonderful time. The location and view were perfect. Very much enjoyed the home, very relaxing and accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked with cook and serving ware.
Our only issues were VERY minor. Some of the bulbs need to be replaced. The closet doors dragged and were hard to open. As I said, VERY minor.
We all think 5 stars was deserved. Tim
