The comfort of the bungalows and the very helpful and sympathetic staff
3.0 / 5.0
The garden and the simplicity of the place
The electricity being cut at least 2 times in 1 night and 1 time in the morning. In the crazy hot season definetly not the best

Relatively remote area, quiet, and an extremely nice lady at the reception. They managed to create an awesome garden with a pond and trees. Porch was wonderful to work from (digital nomand here), and the WiFi was quite good
The food menu was quite limited, only about 6 options for breakfast and similar number of choices for lunch/dinner. But the food was quite good.

We were 2 adults 1 child. Family friendly, quiet country side very close to Bokor Mountain if you are planning to visit it. Staff were great and always helpful. Would stay there again.

NOTHING ‼️‼️
My birthday holiday turned into a torture
1. CHEK IN. You will probably need a whole eternity for someone to help you. Anyway you will put your name and data by yourself. They are simply too much busy, there is no a person responsible for the reception.
2. FIRST LOOK. The first thing I noticed was that our bungalow was about 600 meters away from the reception. Thought they saw wounds on my husband’s leg and how painful it was to walk, they have decided to send us so far. By the way, many of the bungalows much closer were empty.
3. THE ROOM. When I booked the hotel I chose a room with one twin bed and WiFi. We had some plans for a celebration and needed enough space in the room that was shown on pictures and descriptions of their Booking.com profile. And of course I need WiFi because I was waiting for calls from my relatives and friends, the normal mobile data didn’t work including the whole connection. I booked a room with one twin bed and WiFi. When we opened the door of our bungalow I saw two beds and a tiny space between them to get to the bathroom. I asked them to change the bungalow because this was not what I booked and the answer was “we don’t have other rooms, all the rooms are with two beds”. After that the guy disappeared. In a minute we noticed that we don’t have connection on the phone and don’t have WiFi.
4. THE STUFF. After a few minutes of shock I Immediately went back to the reception to cancel our stay and refund my money back. The girl with a happy face said that they can’t do anything and my money can’t be returned. What was also surprising is that none of the stuff wore a mask, they even didn’t have it.
5. CONDITIONS. Couple more words about the room. In the corners between walls and the roof were some space that you can easily meet different unexpected roommates such as slimes, lizards, spiders or even snakes. The anti mosquito nets on the bed were also full of holes and absolutely useless.

The owner/manager is very nice and helpful. You are surrounded by nature completely. I felt like falling asleep in the forest but of course it was much safer for me than falling asleep in the forest. I started feeling mosquitoes in the evening and the manager gave me a spray so it was not a problem. The bed is very clean and fresh. The bathroom - modern and clean. The garden is wonderful, lush and splendid. The natural sounds during my all stay were just fantastic. I really enjoyed the sounds, it was not even a problem that during most if my stay it was raining. I was just staying in the bungalow and listening to the rain and looking around.
The place is quite far from the city. I would not be a problem if there was a good road. In this rainy season the road is muddy, full of pools, bumps and holes. The driver was complaining all the road while driving there on tuktuk. There are no normal shops around. So if you want to buy something you will have to take tuktuk to the center. If you need some good restaurant for lunch or dinner - you will also have to go to the center of Kampot. The bicycle will be not an option as the road is extremely muddy during the rainy season. Also i had problems with the internet from my phone so i had to use wifi of the guesthouse. It was not really fast but okay.

The owners who run this place are very nice and will do what they can to help you. Sleeping to the sounds of the countryside is nice out here (if the Cambodian neighbors aren’t playing loud music).
Although it didn’t bother me too much, I thought the bungalows were a bit close to each other so you could hear and see your neighbors.
