We tried the Asian food, it was really great. Beautiful set up outside, along the river. Also very eco friendly. The family running the business is really nice and welcoming!
Food prices might be a little bit high compared to Kampot, although it’s really good quality.

I was very excited for this booking based on all the reviews but I don’t see what all the hype was about. Many of the reviews talked about out the food there and we didn’t eat there so maybe that’s where the glowing reviews stem from. Basic cabana with fan which had a distinct smell of rodent. I saw animal droppings on the counter and wanted to believe it was all gecko until there was a rat running across the top of the outer cabana wall. There were constant wafts of that open sewage stink throughout the property, it’s hard to enjoy and morning coffee with that smell. We got a guilt trip upon arrival about using toilet paper so went without. The hosts are not very responsive. I left some clearly written on expensive puzzle postcards in the room accidentally and recognized my mistake right away. I tried to contact the place within an hour of leaving trying three different ways, two WhatsApp numbers and through booking, and they didn’t respond until the next day, at which all the postcards had been dismantled by their children.
Mostly everything was not great expect it was quiet.

Years After, Louise Attaque, Manu Chao, Selif Keita, Gainsbourg, Cumbia colombienne, etc.
Dernier argument ?
Les francophones fâchés avec la langue de Bob Dylan seront ravis d'apprendre que la langue maternelle d''Anne-Sophie, de son compagnon et d'Oscar, leur adorable fiston de deux ans et demi, c'est le français !
Devoir repartir trop vite...

Beautiful place on a small part of the river. Quiet and relaxing. The French owners are very helpful and will give you recommendations of things to do or information. It is a little bit out of town but you can walk, rent a moto at the place or get a tuk tuk easily. There are lots of fish in the river that you can watch whilst you drink a good coffee and eat a crepe in the overwater restaurant.

Would 100% go back to Kampot Cabana in a heartbeat. The bungalows are beautifully made and the hosts made you feel very comfortable and safe here. Whatever we needed, the lovely French couple who own the place went above and beyond to help us out and ease our minds. The breakfast there is delightful and it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy Kampot. Lots of information is provided on what to do in and around the area which made our stay very enjoyable! If you require transport; it’s best to book through the hosts as it’s generally cheaper. We hope to be back one day ♥️

the sympathy and the kindness of the owners,
such a good place to chill, just sad we spent only one night.

Great coffee in the morning in a quiet, relaxing veranda beside the river, great location for doing a run up to Bokor Mountain (a km or two less than starting from Kampot City)

so relaxing and helpful all in all absolutely no complaints and helped me book a fantastic horse riding trip

Cosy little huts and beautiful scenery with the bar on the river. Anton and Sophie were great hosts and gave great tips about where to go and what to eat. Good food as well and reasonably priced.
it’s not walkable to get anywhere from here but easy to get a scooter so wasn’t an issue for us.

This place is perfect if you want to chill and be surrounded by nature. The hosts are so accommodating, they can arrange scooters for you and tuk tuks. They also have a restaurant and the breakfast is delicious! Best crepes I've ever had!
They also have a pool table which we used nearly every evening. We were happy to eat and chill here everyday :)
Don't forget your mosquito spray!
Maybe a hook or two in the rooms to hang up towels etc

I like the environment, their bar/restaurant, and the nature around it. It is calm and relaxing.
The room I stayed in was okay. It is as expected with the price I paid.
Mosquito!
I would recommend visitors to beware of the mosquito though. It's nothing related to the quality of their service, but since it is surrounded by nature, you might want to bring the spray or anything to protect you from it. :)

I was looking for a peaceful place close a river and also the town. This was it. The Kampot Cabana. I liked the easy wooden bungalows and surroundings in the "jungle". There is good bar/restaurant with the pool table and easygoing, nice personal. The place has a nice vibe 👌
I was a bit dissapointed, that they don't rent a kayak & also u have to buy a toilet paper what I have never seen before even in any hostel 🤷♂️, this is what I call experience 😆

The situation near the river
The bathroom was always wet because the water still dripped, no soap (I had to ask to be refilled), no light next to my bed. I was told that it will be changed and nothing has been done.
I asked toilet paper and they invoiced me at the end of my stay. Well it will be nice to tell your guests that they need to pay for toilet paper... I feel that there was tension between Anne Sophie and Antonin and I could hear fighting from my bungalow. I didn't like the way he talked to me regarding the motorbike rental.

Good food, great ambience.
Slight background noise at night on sat- but hey , it was the weekend and it is Cambodia....

Amazing staff and ambience. Really helpful for tips around the area.
Loved the place so much that we booked some extra days.
No complimentary tp and the room is not big but a few hooks and places to hang stuff in the cabin would be so much nicer.

The owners are super helpful and told us all the best places to visit and where to eat
