Clean and plenty of beds for larger parties. Highly recommend

Location was fantastic. Literally steps away (like, 30 seconds) from a bus stop that takes you directly to Vail Village in <5 minutes. Hot tub was pretty nice!
Interior of the property left a lot to be desired. Nothing was absolutely horrible, but most things were at least somewhat subpar. Kitchen stocking (cookware, quantity of plates/bowls, etc) was pretty poor. Dishwasher didn't really work; we ended up hand washing nearly everything. Lighting in upstairs bedroom was poor and layout was very weird with a gap in the wall between the loft and upstairs bedroom preventing proper noise isolation. Water heater capacity was insufficient for the guest capacity. Living room furniture was a bit weird e.g. the folding dining table was extremely unsturdy. Some of the bathroom sinks did not drain well. Parking was insufficient; at one point there were no spaces in the lot to park our two cars.

Good location- comfortable living space and shared hot tub make it an attractive place- it is a little outdated
10.0 / 10.0
There were a few things that were needing attention. Kitchen faucet was loose. Pans were dirty with food residue. Screen door screen was torn. Other than those little cosmetic things that we worked around it was great. Location was good. Beds were good. Check in and out was easy. Overall I would stay again.

The home was well appointed and fit our whole family. Loved that we were minutes from Vail Village and had the option of taking a shuttle. It was great to have access to a pool and hot tub, especially after a hard day of hiking!

Great location and condo! No scissors or other basic items but over all was a nice stay.

This vacation spot offers a chance to bring your entire family to experience Vail. Walking distance to Lionshead and located on the Vail bus route.

The location of the 3rd story condo was great and better than expected, literally right across from the bus stop. BUT the property is in need of attention and maintenance. The bathroom off the kitchen was not thoroughly cleaned and the tub does not drain properly (same issue in the master bath) plus the exhaust fan is super loud and rattling. The dryer makes loud squeaky noises as it runs, to the point where we had to turn it off to hold a conversation in the small living room. The white couch in the living room was dirty and one of the brown chairs was torn, giving the place the opposite of an upscale experience. The closets are full of 'stuff' (fan parts, old framed paintings, and a box of old kitchen appliances).
Not sure we would stay in this unit again.

We traveled to Vail for a wedding and this property was perfect size for our adult family of 5. The views of Vail from the balcony and living room are breathtaking.
The only downside was the kitchen. We cook a lot while on vacation and there wasn’t enough cooking utensils and pots/pans.

OK, but issues
The property was fine and the Vacasa responses were prompt, but the local support was not great. In short, when we checked in, there was no parking pass present and we did not get one until the next day. Thankfully, we were not towed, but parking is extremely limited, so I think we got lucky. The property also had several issues, limited utensils (5 forks), no measuring cups, the grill did not work, the bathroom sink was clogged, the kitchen faucet was loose/hard to use, there is no table/place to eat beyond two kitchen stools so you need to do so in your lap. They gave us utensils eventually and fixed the master bath sink, but the local staff that did so were incredibly rude and left the bathroom a mess (actually just dumped the clog in the toilet and did not flush). They did give us a small refund for the rudeness issue. Finally, small thing, but the main tv lacks a remote and is unable to connect to external devices, so if you want to stream, you have to do so via the bedroom.

Vail Spring Break
4 night stay. Property was clean. Some of the furniture was tattered. Kitchen could use some updated pots and pans.
Bus stop was close by but didn’t service Lionshead lifts without a significant hike.

The place was great!!

Disappointed
The unit is poorly maintained and poorly represented. It does sleep 8-10 people but fails to mention the living space is tiny and there is no dining table. All meals most be taken in your lap. The location is across the highway from vail so you can’t walk to the village and it is noisy as it is right on the highway. The TV did not work when we arrived, the only lamp in the living room did not work, the handle on the master bathroom toilet is sketchy and the bathroom sink is very slow to drain.

Great overall
Perfect location, clean and well equipped. Some of the beds could use an update for comfort but not a big issue.

Had a great time. Condo clean and spacious
All good except guy in charge of clearing snow threatened to tow my car because he didn’t clear enough parking spaces for all the guests.

Updated nice property
We enjoyed the updated kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of sleeping room for 6+ adults. would like a table or two. The lack of a coffee table in lou of a dining table made it very difficult for dining in.

Great Stay
Good space and easy walk to Lionshead village (about 10 minutes). We had plenty of space for 9 people total which was surprising. Loft area was warm at night but to be expected with that type of set up. No complaints overall and very clean!

Nice place, needs a few kitchen items
Nice place, comfortable. Close to slopes and on bus line. Needs bottle opener, wine glasses, a wine key, dish washer soap; very annoying not to have; but other than that, good place.

The condo was a very impressive vacation home. We loved every second of it and will definitely be coming back.

Great place for a weekend trip!
The condo was great! The heat flucuated from really hot to really cold but otherwise it was the perfect weekend getaway! The hot tub is awesome and the shuttle to the mountain picks you up right outside. I would stay again!

Large condo, updated, close to Lionshead village
We had a group of 8 and we fit comfortably. Kitchen was very nice and had almost everything we needed. The bathrooms are updated and nice. The bus stop is really close and there are 2 buses you can take to vail village (we used sandstone). You can take the bus to the next stop and use the pedestrian bridge to go to Lionshead or you can ride it all the way to vail village. Be aware that the condo is on the 3rd floor but this was not a big deal for us. The parking is not great as there are no assigned spots. We visited on a holiday weekend so this is probably why it was harder for us but we managed to find parking elsewhere. There is no dining room table so we all sat around the living room to eat which worked out ok. Would definitely stay again. Management was very responsive and a quick call away to answer any questions.

Perfect!
My best friend was getting married on Vail Mountain over Labor Day. The location was incredibly convenient for all of us going back and forth from the village. We had one car, and while parking was a breeze, we didn't need to use it due to the fact that the bus stop is literally right at the bottom of the stairs. There was plenty of space in the unit for all of us. All the beds upstairs were exactly what we needed for everyone traveling to celebrate our friend. Would love to stay there again!!

Good place to stay
It has lots of beds and is quite clean. The kitchen had everything necessary to cook meals. The noise of the higheay is heard from this site but it is not too distracting. It is a good location.

Nice place in a good location
This was a nice place in a good location and it worked well for 6 adults and 3 young children. The only issue was that it was up three long flights of stairs (no elevator) and there is no table to sit and eat or play games.

Guys ski weekend
We hosted a guys ski weekend here. Comfortably slept our entire group. Pool and hot tub are close to the unit and Vail base is a very short shuttle ride away. Vacasa staff was easy to get in touch with when I had a question about our reservation. I would stay here again.

Great location
The house is on the North side (across the highway) from the city of Vail, if it weren't for the constant construction it would have still been easy to navigate. The house is in good shape and was very comfortable. It's hard to find a house for 3 couples with 3 queen beds and this place has that as well as 4 twins.

We loved staying in this unit at Breakaway West! It was me, my husband, our three grown sons, and our daughter in law. There was lots of space and very convenient location. It is right across the street from the bus stop. There are 4 buses an hour during peak times and it is less than a ten minute ride to Vail Village. We rented a ski locker at the Vista Bahn ski rental located right at Gondola One. This made it very convenient to store our ski equipment. The unit itself is very well decorated and very comfortable to come back to and relax after a day of skiing. The kitchen is great! We cooked in most nights and had plenty of cookware and dishes. City Market is just down the street and very convenient to get to by car. The only thing we missed having was internet. This is a great property, and we would highly recommend it.
4.0 / 10.0
Our group had 5 adults and 3 children. For the price we were paying I honestly expected a higher quality. One of the bedrooms had a bent shower rod as a curtain rod that didn't completely cover the window. The upstairs loft did not have any curtains. Noise traveled so easily in here you could hear a low speaking conversation in the master bedroom up in the loft. The dryer had to be run multiple times to dry any one item. Parking was an issue. It is advertised as a great place for up to 9 people. However, parking only allows for 1 car. We had to spend $30/day to park the 2nd car. Also, parking for the one car was an issue as we could not find a space one night (the places to park were not spelt out in the condo nor directions). We called the on-site property manager to get assistance. He did not get back to us until the next day.
Would not stay here again.
8.0 / 10.0
We were very pleased over all. There were a few things that would have made it better- such as better instruction for hot tub and pool use. The parking was hectic and there were no designated spots. We had to park in the overflow parking most of the trip and walk to the unit. The inside of this particular unit was amazing and beautiful however they did not have WiFi- major bummer for non- skiers.
