About this cottage rental
Located on a private family waterfront compound. Steps away from resturants, bars, fishing, touring and rental boats. Walking distance to National, State and County Parks. Also, beaches, bike trails, jogging, fish off your front porch or from our floating dock. Moor your boat on sight, take a short walk to Twinn Lights Lighthouse and museum. Walk across the bridge to Sandy Hook and explore 7 miles of beach. Enjoy many of the unique resturants and shops in town, all withing walking distance.

This property has absolutely stunning views from all of the rooms. The home was clean and welcoming. Gary provided clear instructions for check-in which made it an easy process. We look forward to our next stay!

This house couldn’t have been in a better spot for our family. We could ride our bikes to the beach, the local park and trails and there were lots of choices of restaurants within walking distance. The house itself had everything we needed. It’s a great space and all the windows let in so much light, it felt like we were actually on the water watching the boats go by. The host was very responsive, helpful and flexible. Looking forward to coming back here!

This property is perfectly situated on the bay, we had a relaxing time watching the boards and jet skies go by. Superb walking distance to so many top notch restaurants and ice cream stops. Couldn’t have had a more serene view of the bay.

We booked this location to be close to the fishing. We brought 2 boats and we fished and relaxed in comfort and style. We extended our stay a couple days and they upgraded us to an even nicer house. We will definitely do this again. Great place good friends great fishing. Thanks Gary and family for the 5 star spot. See you soon.

Ideal waterfront location with amazing views. Relaxing time away! Close to restaurants in town and Sandy Hook beaches. All the amenities you could ask for. Comfortable bed. We are repeat customers, staying on this and other properties by same owner, all are waterfront. This one is more spacious than the others. Host is very attentive. No complaints.

We really enjoyed this property. The check in process was extremely easy and everyone was really friendly. Location was great- bars and restaurants all in walking distance. The views were great and very relaxing. We definitely will come back to this location.

Awesome location. Really nice people. Gorgeous beaches and terrific resturants. The only downside is that The master bedroom can use better blinds. The morning sun is way too bright

This is a very cute place on the water. Great little get-away. Some amenities could be a little better for the price. No paper towels on the property, could us a coat of paint, new blinds, and a better cleaning service. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and pretty responsive.

The place was really nice, with great views of the water. The place also had everything we needed and it was right near sandy hook with beautiful views of the sunrise.

My family enjoyed our stay in this property - the views of the water are stunning and there are places to bike and walk all around. We also explored the charming restaurants and beautiful beach that are within walking distance.

Comfortable home right on the river
This home was comfortable and right on the river. The floating dock was too precarious for our young kids to use but there were other beaches/parks you could fish at. The weather but a bit nasty while we were there unfortunately but we still enjoyed the area. In warmer weather, not during a pandemic, I think there would be lots more to do in town. Convenient location and a very welcoming and helpful host.

The view of the water and distant Manhattan is amazing and biking and hiking are outside the door. We drove our bikes over to Sandy Hook and enjoyed a nice long ride to the end and back (you could also easily use the bike path from this spot across the bridge too). Great food is down the street and area provides a lot to see and do. We walked the boardwalk from Long Branch beach one day, and hiked in Hartshorne Woods Park the other. We enjoyed being able to have our friend's dogs with us most places too. The only thing that would have made it better was having curtains on the windows in the bedrooms; the blinds weren't enough to keep out the morning sun. But the scene was so beautiful, and naps were easy to take, that we didn't mind. Thanks for a great stay!

Absolutely perfect!
The rental was even more beautiful than the photos! My family didn’t want to leave; we could have sat and watched the boats go by all day long. The home was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Thank you to the wonderful hosts, who were so kind and attentive. We travel to this area frequently and hope to stay here again!

Great spot to gather for a family vacation. There was plenty of room and even our pet dog was welcomed. We were walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The owners made us feel right at home! We plan to come back!
