The pictures on the website do not do the property justice. This house was absolutely gorgeous. We had 14 adults and one toddler and there was plenty of room for all. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions I had. If you are thinking about a Vermont vacation this is the place hands down!! You will love it!

We can't wait to come back to this wonderful house next year for our annual family ski trip! Owner was fantastic to work with, friendly, and attentive. House was clean, kitchen fully stocked, and enough beds for our group. Snow storm arrived overnight and the driveway was cleared twice before we left mid-morning.

Beautiful, spacious house on a very private lot conveniently located to the town of West Dover and a number of nice restaurant options. It was a great space for our family to spend time together but also have separate spaces when needed. The basement area is great for kids to hang out with a pool table and couches with a TV. Rooms are large and clean without clutter. Not much within walking distance but a short drive to get to various lakes with different swimming/boating options or some parts of the Valley trail for walking or biking. We had a great stay!

We had a great experience renting at Jim’s property. The house was very clean and we loved the wood stove and tall ceilings. The house was plowed after a snow storm so we could hit the mountain that morning. The property was located next to the town close to restaurants and a short drive to Mt Snow.

Big beautiful home with everything you need.
The house is even larger than it appears in the photos and easily accommodated our golf group of 12. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinners in the kitchen. There is a flat front lawn area that was great for lawn games, and a big deck for morning coffee feeling the brisk air in July. It very close to the main road in the area that has plenty of restaurants, which we enjoyed. We also took a 35 minute ride over to the town of Brattleboro that had a bustling downtown area and a cool brewery on the river. We highly recommend renting this property if you get the chance.

Snowy weekend with friends
This worked great for our group of 10 friends all adults staying for the weekend. It was close to town and Mt snow. It was well stocked in the kitchen, clean, and cozy home. The communication with clear and easy for checking in and check out. The rooms were good size then beds were okay for a weekend but not the most comfy if you don't like firm

This house was amazing! It had more than enough space for our group of 7. Great location close to Mount Snow and restaurants in town, but still felt very private. The owner was very easy to contact and was extremely helpful. We will definitely be back!

This house is awesome! We used it for a friends ski trip with a few couples. Super clean, very close to Mt Snow. Has enough space to spend time together and apart as it has three floors. Bedrooms are all nice and clean and place heated up nicely. Kitchen well equipped and check in was simple. Would recommend!

Perfect for our family. Better than the pictures. Lots of open space for everyone to gather. Teens loved the 1st floor area with pool table and their own rooms. Easy to find. Close to skiing. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great getaway
This property was prefect for our friends getaway. Plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable and the views were great. The toddlers loved running around the wraparound deck. The owner explained everything and made the process easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to stay with friends
We hosted my sister's bachelorette party here and it couldn't have been better! The house is beautiful and well-appointed—you'll have everything you need. The main living area is so comfortable and welcoming. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms to go around, which makes this a perfect place to stay with friends or extended family. The house feels secluded because it's surrounded by nature, but it's also close to cute downtowns like Wilmington and Brattleboro. The wrap-around deck was a highlight—I loved hearing the little creek babbling when I stood outside. One thing to note: the air conditioning worked really well on the first and second floors, but it did get pretty warm on the third floor. I imagine AC isn't usually necessary up there and we wished it wasn't so humid so we could have all the windows open. Overall, we loved the house and can't wait to go back. It's also worth mentioning that the host was very communicative and gave helpful recommendations about the area.

Gorgeous & comfortable home for a large group
We loved everything about this home! Our family gathered after being apart for about 18 months - 6 adults, 2 teens, 1 toddler - and we all had plenty of space to be together but also apart. The main level with the large kitchen/dining area, smaller sitting nook, and huge living room space was perfect. It rained through most of our stay, but it didn’t matter - we played cards, ate delicious meals, played music, danced, chased the baby around, played pool, watched basketball playoffs - it was all great.
The hosts are friendly and communicated well, offered some tips for the area. Everything in the house is high quality - the kitchen especially contains top-notch cookware and plenty of dishes, glasses, etc. Soft towels and comfy beds make a big difference too! (And my son fell in love with the faux fur pillows and throw blankets on the sectional in the living room. Major hygge!) The creek bubbling downhill next to the house all week was especially peaceful, perfect to fall asleep to and sit on the deck enjoying with a morning coffee.
We are not skiers so summer was a good time for our visit…no crowds! Some tips if you do rent in summer: Harriman Reservoir offers two different picnic/swimming areas; we spent hours floating in tubes we brought from home. We also rented kayaks from High Country Marine one day (they offer wave runners and power boat rentals, as well, reasonably priced). Lake Raponda was lovely for swimming, and the Wilmington Trails system offered good hikes at different challenge levels. The little movie theater in town plays first run movies a few evenings a week. Betsy’s Diner had delicious breakfast and there were a bunch of restaurants just down Rte 100 in Wilmington. On the last night we drove in to Brattleboro and ate on the deck at The Marina, which was a gorgeous spot with great food (but slow service).
Gorgeous country. Comfortable well-appointed house. Quiet time catching up with those we love. What a gift! Thank you, Jayna and Jim! I hope we’ll be back again soon.

A beautiful escape from the city
This home was so beautiful, tucked in a quaint area about 10min from Mount Snow where we were skiing for a couple of days. The home was immaculate and filled with everything you needed: towels, sheets, coffee machine, pots/pans etc, as we were cooking from home. The fire place was also such a sweet touch too! The owner was very clear in communication from when we first booked the home, until we got to the home. The details to enter and exit the home was detailed and easy to follow! You felt safe especially during these COVID times, too! I cannot wait to make this an annual trip with my family!

Family Getaway
We stayed for a short family getaway with a few friends to go skiing. The house is beautiful, well laid out, and there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We will bring more people next time. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for a large group. Its a 8-10 min, drive to Mount Snow, but feels shorter. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend this home!

Beautiful home for a large group
Amazing home for a large group. bedrooms on all 3 levels makes for a quite evening with multiple families sharing one large home. Our group included multiple young children, and the adults were able to enjoy a great evening without disturbing the little ones. Secluded home was easily accessible, and about 10 minutes to Mount Snow. We can't wait to come back again next year!

This house is one of the best units we've ever rented!
This house can accomodate 5 families easily. The house is very clean and well kept. The rooms are nice and spacious with all the ammenities. The little ones enjoyed the snow on the property as they built a snow tunnel in the snow banks.

Modern yet Rustic, Beautiful Mt Snow Vacation Home
We come up to VT every year with a bunch (12) of friends to get in a nice ski weekend. We had been staying at another house in Wilmington for a few years, but found it was booked all season. So we found this gem on VRBO. Its VERY close to Mt Snow, tucked about a mile or two off of Route 100 in West Dover. The property and house is GORGEOUS. The owners gave a very generous check-in/check-out time schedule (not sure if that's standard or just because the house wasn't occupied at either end). The rooms are spacious, furniture is top-notch, and every amenity you could hope for. Owners are very thorough, and give impeccable directions on everything from turning on the water utilities to starting the fireplace (a real beauty, by the way). There is a pool table on the first floor, with two bedrooms, one with bunks. Then the second floor has the first master suite. Third floor has three more BRs, with yet another master suite! This place is incredible. I almost didn't want to leave this glowing review in case that I am just increasing demand for the house in up coming years!

Long Holiday Weekend at a Beautiful Home in a Great Location
One word, WOW! My group stayed for the 2011/2012 New Years Eve weekend and had the time of our lives. The house is immaculate and the owners were a breeze to deal with. The home is extremely comfortable and has all the creature comforts one might come to expect from a high-end vacation home.
Despite poor weather (very little snow prior to our stay and warmer temperatures), we made it to the slopes several of the days and were pleasantly surprised by the proximity. Door to Lift in less than 20 minutes!
When not on the mountain we comfortably lounged in the two living rooms, played pool, enjoyed the collection of board games and hiked the property and surrounding neighborhood.

Build Quality and attention to detail (We found a scrap book of the build process and can tell this family truly loves their home and put alot of effort in making it what it is today)

Proximity to surrounding towns, slopes and attractions
Security system with multi-zone climate control
Long driveway with several parking areas which help those with less capable cars
Home situated deep in the property for privacy
All said we hope to become repeat visitors and would absolutely love to experience the place during the Fall Foliage season. For all those who end up renting here, please respect this beautiful home and property, I’d like to enjoy renting here for years to come :)
