Welcome to Casa Joya del Mar, where you can make lasting memories with family and friends. Our full-time staff of five will pamper you and take care of your every need.
-----THE VILLA-----
OVERVIEW
Casa Joya Del Mar is a private home vacation rental located inside the gates of prestigious Lagos Del Mar Estates of Punta Mita. We are only 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta, overlooking the Banderas Bay. Our home has 6 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and can sleep up to 16 comfortably. This luxurious 9,500+ sq. ft. executive villa is on the Punta Mita's Four Seasons Jack Nicklaus seventh fairway, only 150 yards from the beach, with ocean and golf course views from the four master suites.
As of October 2022, our neighbor next door began construction on a new house. While we do not anticipate any material construction noise or nuisance, we feel it appropriate to let our guests know. We have tall areca palm trees between our lot (#2) and lot #3. There is also a small road between the lots, and a required fence surrounding lot #3. Workers doing the construction cannot view our guests. They are not supposed to make noise before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m. and do not work on Saturdays or Sundays. In the unlikely event our guests find any issues with the next door construction, they should immediately advise our house concierge.
DINING
Our staff will prepare and serve you breakfast and lunch. You pay for all food and beverages. For the evening meal, if you wish, we can arrange for a professional chef. You can pay him directly for his services ($175 per night, plus tips). Again, you pay for food and beverages. Choices for on-site dining include the large quartz island in the kitchen, an indoor large formal dining area, the outside dining area on the covered veranda, or under the pergola by the pool and BBQ. There are plenty of great restaurants both inside and just outside the Punta Mita gates.
ENTERTAINMENT
The house has flat screen TV's in each bedroom, plus the media room and game room. High-speed fiber optic Wi-Fi is also available, free of charge. The fitness room has an elliptical, treadmill and stationary bike, plus free weights and a TV. We can also set up our ping pong table and play cornhole anytime. The media room also has has a desk and printer for anyone needing to squeeze in some office work.
GUEST SUITES
This Punta Mita vacation rental has four large master suites, plus a mini suite and a smaller bedroom for kids with four bunk beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and shower:
• Bali Master Suite - Sleeps 2 in a king bed
• Cayman Suite - Sleeps 2 in a king bed, plus up to 2 in a twin trundle bed
• Granada Suite - Sleeps 2 in a king bed
• Shanghai Suite - Sleeps up to 4 in two queen beds
• Kauai Mini Suite - Sleeps up to 4 in two queen beds
• Bunk Room - Sleeps up to 4 children or teenagers
All beds have high-end mattresses and linens. Bathrooms have fluffy towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryers. Maximum occupancy is 16. Additional guests must have approval from the Property Manager. There may be an additional cost for more than 16 guests as we may need to temporarily hire additional staff.
KITCHEN
The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with beautiful solid wood cabinetry and Wolf and Sub-Zero stainless steel appliances. The large quartz island has seating for 8.
OUTDOOR AREAS
Enjoy swimming in a spacious heated infinity pool with three levels. Relax in the Jacuzzi overlooking the golf course and the ocean.
VIEWS
Our Punta Mita vacation rental has beautiful whitewater beach views. The waves crashing on the shore are visible from inside all four master suites as well as the living area and pool area.
CONCIERGE
Francisco (our house concierge) will arrange airport pick up with a professional transportation agency. Francisco will drive you back to the airport in our Suburban as your stay ends. If you need additional vehicles he will make arrangements for you at your expense. He will do pre-arrival grocery shopping, and can arrange any activities or day trips you'd like to do while staying at our home, such as in-house massages, deep-sea fishing, whale watching, zip-lining, etc.
VILLA STAFF
This vacation rental in Punta Mita comes with a villa staff of five. Odaris is both the housekeeper and cook. Francisco will greet you at the house upon arrival. He has been the concierge at Casa Joya Del Mar for over 16 years and will orient you to Punta Mita. Rosa helps with daily housekeeping and laundry. Our professional chef (Israel) has worked for the Four Seasons and his assistant (Karina) prepare breakfast and lunch on Sundays when Odaris and Francisco take time off to be with their families. Israel can prepare the dinner meal at the request of the guests for a fee.
GETTING AROUND
You are welcome to use our suburban or two golf carts (4-passenger and 6-passenger) inside the gated community of Punta Mita. All drivers of the golf carts and car must have a valid driver's license.

One of the many Punta Mita walking paths will take you to the small village where you can find many outstanding beach side restaurants, or do a little shopping.

The Pacifico Beach Club has been recently remodeled in the last few years:
Closest to the villa and the Four Seasons resort, the Pacifico Beach Club overlooks the Pacific Ocean and the famous “Tail of the Whale” – a natural ocean green – hole 3B! This beautiful beach club features both beach and poolside chaise lounges and a wonderful restaurant. The sunsets here are incredible.

The children’s pool has shade and features lush greenery which is so lovely in this part of Mexico. You can enjoy full food and beverage service pool or ocean side, or sit under the cool “palapa” in the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant bar. Rentals:
Also available to rent for a nominal fee are: boogie, surf, or paddle boards, and kayaks. If you feel the need to unwind, there are private cabanas where you can enjoy a relaxing massage as you listen to the soothing sounds of the surf.
ST. REGIS SEA BREEZE BEACH CLUB
The St. Regis Beach Club offers our visitors another choice for luxury and relaxation.
You can dine underneath their palapa style bar area or at their casual dining restaurant with any one of their sumptuous menu choices, such as wood fired pizzas or the fresh catch of the day. Once you become acquainted with this lovely facility and their many amenities, you will find it a welcome treat for you, family, and friends. The St. Regis Beach Club anticipates that Premier Club access will include food and beverage service as compensation that they require for use of the facilities for children and adults. The fees can be offset based on food and beverages served.

EL SURF CLUB
The newest amenity at Punta Mita is the Surf Club located at one of the famous surf breaks north of Ranchos Estates. It's a great beach for beginner surfers to learn! There is also a rustic restaurant serving great tacos and other specialties and drinks for you to enjoy when not catching the waves. There is an entry fee per person but it is worth it if you enjoy surfing or would like to learn.

Our vacation in Punta Mita was wonderful! We had the most incredible experience renting this house. The house was even more impressive than the VRBO listing. The spacious layout - plenty of room for my family of 15 and a fantastic pool perfect for small children as well as for adults. The real gem of our stay was Francisco, house manager /exceptional concierge, who along with his staff went above and beyond to make our trip seamless and unforgettable. Breakfast and lunch every day was amazing, delicious and so enjoyable. We had not decided when we booked our vacation to have our dinner meals provided for us but after the first night we were blown away at how delicious it was as well as beautifully plated. We ended up booking for the rest of the week! Israel, our talented chef made exquisite meals and we were in awe at how excellent the food was. Enjoying great meals with our grown children as well as our grandchildren around a large square dining table with a fantastic lazy susan filled with delicious food was such a blessing- lots of laughter and story telling - wonderful family time making happy memories. The added bonus of beach clubs access, the golf carts, the golf courses and the view of the water and mountains completed our perfect vacation. I can not recommend this property enough- a dream getaway! We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful time in Punta Mita. The house is fantastic and just like the listing. We had 12 people, and a mix of adults, teens and kids, and there was always a place for everyone to enjoy themselves and enough space for privacy if needed. The house pool is incredible. The beaches were easy to get to with the golf carts, and we also took a fishing trip that departed from the nearby town (10 min away).
I can’t say enough about the staff at the house. Francisco was friendly, responsive and very helpful from our arrival to the departure. Israel is an incredible chef, who was very accommodating, making sure even picky young eaters had something they liked. He was so good we decided to have every dinner in the house. In fact, I think the only meal we had at a restaurant was the lunch when we arrived.
Overall it was a wonderful vacation for our large family and we hope to do it again.

Best vacation ever. From start to finish our stay was perfect. Francisco told us not to worry about anything when we spoke to him in advance about our trip, and boy did he deliver on that.
He and his staff of 4 anticipated all of our needs and every single minor stress out of our vacation. The spacious home is beautiful - situated on the golf course with views of the ocean. It was impeccably clean, luxurious with plenty of room for our group of 13 (3 couples and 7 kids) to spread out and enjoy. The 12 person dining table offered some of the enjoyable moments of our entire trip - all comfortably gathered together.
All food and beverages were taken care of from the moment we arrived including Margaritas in fridge when we arrived, and delicious breakfasts every day ready when everybody surfaced for the day. There was never any pressure to sit down and being eating until everyone was ready.
The private chef Israel prepared some gourmet dinners for us (extra) including Surf & Turf, fresh Mahi Mahi (Dorado), Shrimp and Chicken Enchiladas, and Pasta and Pizza for the kids the one night we went to town for Dinner. They were better than most fancy dinners here in the US.
The two golf carts and SUV were perfect for getting around the safe and gorgeous community of Punta Mita - accessing the beach clubs, pickle ball, going into town, checking out the iguanas and mexican lemurs, etc.
Francisco is a master at his craft. Not only is he genuine, cool and fun, but he arranged every extra perf including really easy airport transport, surf lessons at a great spot for beginners, a fishing trip where we all caught a fish including a 35 lb Dorado. Other than cash tips, the property covered our costs and we settled up at the end which made is so much easier.
I would highly recommend this home to anybody looking for a zero-stress, luxury vacation where the staff is looking out for you every need.
One recommendation is to bring a bunch of $10 and $20s with you. The beach clubs include a 12% gratuity for drinks and food (both excellent), but the staff at the beach clubs deserve extra cash tips for their impeccable service.

The house has an awesome pool to be enjoyed by all ages. Its back entertainment area is very nice. The location within Punta Mita is great. You get a very nice view to golf fairways and ocean. The staff is extraordinary and plus they have one main point of contact (manager onsite daily) to help with anything you need. Highly recommended for family trip or friends. This is one of the few properties we could locate in Punta Mita with a perfect 5 star rating. We now know why so many guests gave this house a 5-star rating. Our trip was fabulous and we highly recommend this property. Everything from the meals that the staff prepared at the house down to the shower gel in the shower was perfect. Nothing was overlooked or missed. The staff, the house and the owner (who has great communication skills) made our visit a great one.

What you see (photos) is what you get: Beautiful, clean, & everything from the linens/beds to the golf carts and SUV are top quality and new. Francisco & staff were excellent and extremely attentive. FWIW - we had a large group across 4 families and our 1st night eating out became our only. Eat in, go out for drinks. Food/service/convenience/value of eating dinner in for a large group couldn't be beat. Communication/responsiveness from team was great.

Absolutely loved this property! The owner was very responsive and helpful with regard to all our requests! The house manager, Francisco, made everything so easy and was delightful to work with! More Than Met Our Expectations
We went to Punta Mita to celebrate some family milestones. From the moment we arrived at Joya Del Mar, our family felt totally relaxed and cared for. Francisco's favorite saying, 'consider it done'! He took care of us very well. Reina, Israel and Nuni also were excellent. We loved the layout of the house so that each of us had our own space, and the common area was a great gathering spot. The outside amenities were wonderful. The food very, very good. Hint: get fish dinners. The fish is so incredibly fresh. Everyone in our group of 11 wants to return to Casa Joya del Mar!

The house is fantastic for a large group. Everyone has plenty of space. We were celebrating the Parents 50 anniversary and they walked away saying a trip of a life time. The main reason is the staff they are incredibly and catered to each person to make them feel like a King or Queen. Russ was always willing to help out in the planning stages of the trip. Francisco is truly an ambassador of epic ability. Israel, Reina, Nuni and Karina took care of all our needs and at the end it felt as if they were part of our family. We can not wait to go back!!!!!!! Thank you

Everything we hoped for and more
We had very high hopes for this trip and the house and the staff more than delivered. Starting from our first interactions with Russ, the owner, all the way from our sad departure at the airport with Francisco, it was 100% excellent service and beautiful accommodations.
We have stayed in a few houses in this area and this was our favorite. The layout is perfect and spectacular. The big, great room that opens up to the outdoor pool area was lovely. It gave our large group plenty of space to all be together but never feel remotely crowded. The large square dining room table made every mealtime a delight and the outdoor dining area was also well used.
Francisco, Reina, Nuni and Karina were awesome at making us feel welcome and well taken care of. And we definitely enjoyed many nights of Israel’s amazing culinary delights.
The bedrooms were all beautiful and spaced out in a way that each felt very private and gave all of us our own piece of paradise.
We are already thinking about when we can return to Casa Joys Del Mar!

Wonderful
We enjoyed this wonderful home with 6 couples for a long birthday weekend in January. The house is perfect for a large group with plenty of space and beautiful view over the golf course with beach in background. The service from planning to throughout our stay was top notch for any need. The food prepared was fresh and delicious. Access to the beach clubs were a lot of fun. The area of Punta Mita is such a special spot in Mexico. We will be back. Thank you.

Everything about Casa Joya del Mar exceeded my high expectations.
The villa and surrounding area are way more beautiful in person than the photos. I would say the Casa Joya del Mar is an idyllic location for a warm weather holiday. Natural beauty extraordinaire, the perfect little town with everything you would need, top-notch restaurants and darling little boutiques - a 10 minute golf cart trip away. Gorgeous views, lush greenery, privacy, peace and quiet.
I was equally impressed with the people that took care of us, as I was with the Villa and Punta Mita and it's amazing activities.
My entire family received 'Four Seasons' service from booking through the stay, to our departure. Francisco is a true gem: delightful, fun and funny. Responsive to all of our needs, anticipating them before we did. We felt very fortunate to have him as our concierge, he has a wealth of local knowledge and knows how to take care of all members of the family and their various needs.
The chef, housekeeping crew were wonderful too.
I would 100% recommend the villa and 100% plan to return if I were to be so lucky.
My whole family fell in love with Casa Joya, Punta Mita and Mexico! warm weather, but also the warmest of people.

Property was First Class Operation
Prior to arrival the communication with the homeowner (Russ) and the concierge (Fransisco) was amazing. The two of them wanted everything to be perfect for you and your family. Upon arrival, Fransisco met us at the airport with a friendly smile and cold bottles of water for the ride to the property. Once you arrive at the property you will be amazed at how wonderful it truly is. The home and the people that staff the home are absolutely perfect. Fransisco booked all of our events and coordinated everything for us from dinners to daily events. We could not have asked for more in our 5 days in Punta Mita.

Vacation of a Lifetime! Best Food, Staff, Location!
Wow! Beginning with Francisco picking us up from the airport with cold water bottles - The pampering never Stopped! Every excursion was booked for us and attended to for the best price. Massages on site, Israel - the personal chef was Amazing!!! My family still raves about the food - loved by adults, teens and children - He pleased every taste & was attentive to allergies as well.
The house is one luxury after another! A split floor plan so guests are not on top of each other - bathrooms in every bedroom & with the workout room. My kids loved touring the area in the 2 golf carts which were so convenient to drive. You are secluded enough to enjoy your privacy, yet remarkably around the corner from the town & excursions! We enjoyed Paddleboarding, Jet Skiing, Parasailing, Marieta Islands, snorkeling, Swimming with Dolphins and more!! We can't wait to return and go Deep Sea fishing, four-wheeling & Ziplining through this beautiful paradise.
Relaxing by the pool every evening we enjoyed constant fresh fruit - delicious Mangoes! - and constant Pina Coladas. Every dinner was wrapped up with a new amazing dessert.
The House Staff kept everything clean and fresh, Linens, towels, extra pillows and blankets are all provided and kept up remarkably well.
We can not say enough wonderful things about this house and the people there to help you. Francisco takes care of any and everything & is truly what puts this home above any and all others! You won't regret it! Book this house ASAP - for the best vacation you'll ever have :)

Simply Superb
We just returned from 6 nights at Casa Joya and I can't say enough about how wonderful the whole experience was for us. There were seven of us, including our 3 teenage sons and my wife's parents. There is plenty of room in the house for more people. We spread out and still didn't use one of the bedrooms. The house layout is fantastic with a wonderful living/dining/kitchen area that opens up completely to the outside during the day while keeping all the bedroom doors closed keeps them nicely air conditioned. The use of the golf cart and the Suburban within the Punta Mita gates sets this house apart as we easily went out and about to the village, the beaches and the golf club. The house is beautiful, the Punta Mita development is beautiful, but the most amazing thing about this house is the staff of Francisco and Reina. Reina keeps the house clean and beautiful every day and Francisco is a master concierge, putting you at ease while taking care of everything you can think of including getting us a great chef for the week at a reasonable cost. Between Francisco and the chef, we had all meals covered and I highly recommend you take this option. We ended up going out for dinner just one evening because it was so wonderful to sit down at the table as a family each meal and enjoy the 5-star service from Francisco and his team. Any type of group could have a wonderful time here and I hope to be back again next year.

Perfect!!
"Lagos Dos" was spectacular!
This was our first time staying in a "home" with our family for a vacation. We have stayed at the Four Seasons Punta Mita a few times and loved the area, so when we saw the stunning pictures of Casa Joya Del Mar we thought we'd give it a try as our four children were older now (teens and college-age) and we needed a bit more room...best decision ever!
First of all, the pictures do not do this wonderful home justice. As we toured the property upon arriving, we were speechless. From the luxurious pool area (the new pool lounge chairs were perfect) to the beautifully decorated great room...the home is stunning. Each bedroom suite was fabulous! We played cards in the game room at night, watched movies upstairs in the entertainment room, relaxed by the pool during the day and after dinner. And the view from the pool...wow!!!! We felt very "at home" at Casa Joya Del Mar. But the home was not the only aspect that made this vacation one of our favorites...it was the service.
Francisco (we still mention his name all the time) and Reina, made this vacation! They were there for us when we needed them, but also very behind the scenes. Francisco was truly a professional!!...very courteous, knowledgeable, service oriented and a whole lot of fun! His fish tacos and margaritas by the pool for lunch..it just doesn't get better. The owners are very lucky to have found him. He arranged our outings(ATV's and boating), made our restaurant reservations, drove us where we needed to go, gave us a tour of the area so we were familiar with our surroundings when we arrived, and just made sure we were always happy! It could not have been better!
For our next visit, we will definately get the chef (Isreal) to come in more to cook dinner. He was wonderful...better than the Four Seasons and so much more reasonably priced!
Russ, Francisco and Reina, thank you for making our trip one we will never forget. We cannot wait to return!

I can truly say that everything about our stay was truly Amazing! Russ, the owner was so easy and accomodating to work with when booking our stay and it only got better frome there!
My wife and I along with our friends have been going to Puerto Vallarta for many years and we have had the opportunity to stay at many Villlas in PV and I can tell you that those Villas were Beautiful and had great staff but this Villa takes the cake. From the views to the decor to the swimming pool everything was Amazing...the pictures on the website do not do it justice. And just when you think it can;t get better it does with as Francisco and Reina took great care of us and catered to our every need. We all would highly recommend Francisco's Fish Tacos and make sure you get Israel one of the Chef's to make some dinners as his food is awesome and a must have desert is the Hot Chocolate Lava Cake...a definite must!
As the website says, the house is right on the Seventh fairway so we golfed twice so when we got to the seventh hole we hit our teeshots...mark our balls and then stopped at the house for breakfast once and lunch once (Where Francisco and Reina prepared great meals) and then went on to finish the round...really doesn't get better than that!
The only downside with the house is that you never want to leave it. But if you do we would recomment going to Margarita's in the small town of Punta Mita...Francisco will make the res, and going to the St. Regis Beach club for sunset drinks.
We will definitley be back sooner than later so thanks to Russ, Francisco and Reina for a great vacation!

Better than we could have dreamed of!!
My entire family (mom, dad, brothers, wives, and kids - 8 adults and 4 kids under the age of 3) rendevouzed in Punta Mita the first week of October 2011 and were mind blown the moment we walked in the door of this amazing home. The pictures do not do this place justice! The house far exceeded our expectations, and our expectations were pretty high. But, the house was not the greatest part of the vacation. Francisco (our concierge for the week) turned a week vacation into something people only dream of - we never lifted a finger. Francisco took care of all of our needs, whether it was day trips to Saulita, drinks, tours of the surrounding area, or anything else we wanted to do. Plus, he brought such a joyful spirit to work each day that we could not help but smile whenever he was around. The second part of the experience that turned a great vacation into an unforgettable experience was hiring Israel (the chef) to come in and cook for us each day. Israel made some of the most amazing meals we have ever eaten!

One week in Paradise
We spent a week at Casa Joya Del Mar wtih two other couples in perfect weather, playing golf, laying on the beach, being pampered by the house staff, and sampling local cuisine. I would return in a flash. This is the most restful vacation we have ever taken. The vistas are breath taking. The golf course is difficult to over rate. The house staff were solicitous and attentive. Francisco makes a breakfast worthy of the Four Seasons where he was previously employed and his fish tacos are to die for. We had a glorious time! It is worth every peso!

Our Week in Paradise!
For the past 3 years our family of 11 has spent one week each year at Casa Joya del Mar. It has become an annual event and we wouldn’t dream of spending our vacation at any other place. As our family has said “How can you compete with Paradise?” We can’t think of a better place to relax, unwind and spend good quality time together than there. Francisco, the always available, agreeable and friendliest concierge helps to set the stage for our vacation. Reina, the kind and caring housekeeper never fails to keep everything in tip top shape for us and is always there with clean towels by the pool, and a ready smile as well. We have also taken advantage of the availability of a 5 star chef, arranged by Francisco, who helps us to further enjoy our time together by preparing fresh meals that are custom-made to our taste and liking. As reluctant as we are to ever leave Casa Joya del Mar we have ventured out to enjoy zip lining, the nearby water park, golf and various beaches as well. Even though we have recently returned from there, we have already begun to count down the days until we can return to our wonderful Punta Mita family once again!
