This was a fantastic place. Clean, amenities, accurate listing. We stayed in mid July and the pool was fantastic for times when we didn't want to fight the crowds at a beach. The only downside is that there was very little open in the surrounding area (resort) for the summer. The listing mentioned shops, etc. But we found that all was closed except for a single restaurant. We had to drive at least 10ish minutes to get food. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.

Our stay at David’s was lovely. We checked in later than anticipated. David provided us with all the checkin instructions needed, including after hours check in location.
Upon our arrival we found the condo welcoming, clean with all the amenities we needed.
Make sure to set time to enjoy the Community pool and jacuzzi!
The Location of the condo is prime. You’re within walking distance of the skate rink, coffee shops & restaurants.
We will definitely be staying here again!

Never stayed in the village before. Now I never want to stay anywhere else. The ski locker and 35 steps to the lift/gondola is worth the price of admission. Skiing in for lunch and hot chocolate is an incredible savings.
As far as the rental. Very clean well stocked kitchen. Panini maker, rice cooker, insta pot. Very spacious.
Host was gracious and responded quickly to questions.
Thanks

We found this unit to be overall very nice and well accessorized, esp the kitchen. Unbeatable location. For the money there were a few nits…Main TV has 4+ remote controls, way too complicated and never could get it to work. Also some minor maintenance could help,eg., toilet seat and toilet paper holder are lose. There are a few more but I am out of characters.

Return family to this unit in Catamount of Northstar Village. Excellent location for skiing, very short walk to Gondola, as well as all the amenities of the village. Unit was in great condition and up to expectations. Would certainly return on trip back to Northstar.

We arrived at the resort from the Bay Area at 9:30. When we went to pick up the keys as directed by the owner, they did not have a record of our reservation and it took 2 more hours to finally get into the condo. It wasn’t clear if this was the owner’s fault or the fault of Tahoe Mountain Lodging, who the owner contracts with to let guests in. We only reached the owner after multiple calls and texts. There was no one onsite to help. For the price (premium winter pricing), I had higher expectations for customer service. Once we accessed the unit, it was fine and the location was very close to the main gondola and chairlift at the village.

Great place, as advertised. Very convenient for all Northstar activites.

This condo was well appointed as advertised. We’ve stayed at several condos in the village and it’s been one of the nicest - appliances, bedding, cleanliness. David was responsive and flexible. Thank you, David!

Came up to watch the Barracuda Open and had a fabulous Weekend. Would highly recommend this Condo

Wonderful place, exactly as described. Comfortable beds and furniture, close to the gondola, great fitness center, convenient elevator from parking to unit. Only issue was finding where to check in. The building had a different name than was listed on our instructions. We had a nice visit and highly recommend this property.

Unit was beautiful. Clean and fully equipped. Great location. Easy access to gondola, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend..

The location of unit is perfectly convenient to the gondolas and village restaurants/shops. The beds and linens are extremely comfortable. The open kitchen is roomy and well stocked. Unit is extremely clean. We had a great week at this rental.

Located in the Village, literally tens of yards from gondola entrance; rustic style with lots of stone, wood and leather; comfortable beds; well furnished kitchen; plenty of multi-media electronics; ground floor ski locker; and access to shared amenities.

We had an amazing stay! Phenomenal location and the property has everything you need for a very comfortable stay with your whole family. We will definitely be back!

Our second stay at this property and will be back for more. Fantastic location!!!!

The property and condo were definitely five star in all categories, however the village itself does not really have much nightlife and very few restaurants (3). Have skied mostly at resorts in CO, so I assumed it would be more like on of the state's smaller resorts like Beaver Creek or Keystone. I was super surprised that the village basically closes at 4pm. There is a Mina restaurant that was closed most nights, a very good Mediterranean restaurant that stopped taking customers at 7:30pm and was closed on Mondays and a Pizza Joint. No grocery store at the village...so in order to use the super nice kitchens in the condo, one had to drive into Truckee for provisions. That said, I would go to Northstar again, but only for a two night stay. Other than that...condo and complex was very, very nice!

The location of this condo is ideal! Steps away from the lift lines and restaurants in the Village. WiFi was fast and strong which is important as I had to work part of the time. Full kitchen made quick breakfast before hitting the slopes easy.

As described, thank you

A wonderful week's stay at NorthStar! There was lots to do an see at Lake Tahoe during this time of the year. We were very happy with the property rented and things to do at Tahoe during this time of the year.
4.8
The condo needs a few repairs and maintenance. Hair dryer missing in one bathroom. Some knobs and handles need to be tightened.
4.8
Our VRBO was beautiful once we found it. There are no signs anywhere for the buildings and check in is very difficult. Once you find the "right place" the people were friendly and check in easy.
4.8
Very clean and well furnished. Had all amenities as stated. A few deferred maintenances issues, i.e., blinds in primary bedroom and main living area were broke and did not function as intended, left front burner on stove malfunction and a number of remotes did not have batteries. Great location in the Village and only a few steps to gondola.
4.8
perfect & spacious location for our family of skiers @ middle school children; around the corner, steps to gondola. Beautifully appointed, high quality furnishings. With children, we've been regulars at Northstar Village bc it helps to park once and not have to drive or look for parking again. We hope to return to this particular unit.
4.8
Location of this property was phenomenal, with VIP parking underground. I would rent this property again!
4.8
This place was great for our summer trip to Tahoe area. Had everything we needed for our family of five. Close enough to major activities and we enjoyed location for the bike park. Communication with owner was great. No major complaints, would definitely stay here again.
4.8
Ideal location - didn't need to drive anywhere after we arrived. Very clean. I appreciate the "no shoes except in entry way" policy, since that's what we do at home too. Nice bonus items, like the foam roller. Best part was the firm mattresses because most rentals are too soft for my preference. Only hiccup was check in, since the owner had not provided clear instructions and I had to call him when we arrived at the address, but he was immediately responsive, so it wasn't a huge deal. I would definitely book this spot again!
4.8
We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again. We found the condo to be very clean snd the beds were so comfortable.Super easy stroll to the gondola too!
4.8
The condo was clean, great location, and ski in/ski -out as advertised. Property manager failed to respond to my message several days earlier concerning check in directions. We spent over 30 minutes driving around the property before calling property manager and he then sent check in directions. Paying over 800 per night for a condo, I expected better service and communication. However, the unit is great and as advertised.
4.8
Great Home. Close to gondola
4.8
Location can't be beat! Beautiful condo in the Catamount Building.
4.8
Unreal location to everything...50 feet from the Gondola!
4.8
Property was very clean and accommodating. We came at the time of COVID so a lot of the shops in Truckee and Tahoe were closed. :( We did not come to ski so we had lots of family time!! The views were spectacular.
4.8
We stayed here for five nights with a couple of friends for the opening of the 2020 ski season at Northstar. The property was clean and Covid rules such as only one party per elevator were mostly adhered to by residents and guests alike. The ski lockers were great but the gyms are currently closed, so there is no access to the hot tubs — that said, the master bathroom has a great soaking tub to help with recovery after coming back from the slopes. When we first arrived our reservation was unfortunately not in the front desk's system, but our host corrected this promptly (even though at first the wrong dates were provided). Other than that our stay went down without a hitch and we would happily return.
4.8
The location was ideal! The place was beautiful and super convenient snd cozy! I will definitely want to return.

This was the third condo we stayed in this summer at Northstar. All have been beautiful units with all the conveniences of staying in the village. But this was the most “homey” because of the little touches. Extensive spice rack and great cooking pans allowed to eat in more than usual. A great foam roller came in handy after a few days of hiking. And Roku let us watch our favorite Netflix shows like we were at home. We had a great week long stay!
4.8
We had a great stay here! Our original plan was to stay in Tahoe, however the timeshare did not have a/c. There’s been terrible smoke, and with 3 little ones we were very concerned about everyone’s lunges. Vrbo came to the rescue, and David was so accommodating and responsive! I was able to inquire and book everything within a few hours. Our vacation was saved and the room itself was very nice! Super comfortable beds, a/c, and a nice large kitchen: it all looks exactly like the pictures! Would stay again.
