Staff was amazingly friendly and it was located near many good restaurants.

Convenient stay, walking distance to food, shops and bars
Older built but kept clean and tidy

Nice location, had a kitchen inside the room
Stayed for one night, a bit pricy for what you could get in the same area. La Vela (5 star hotel 200m further) had a double room for around 90 USD per night, much more value if you are two people.
1) Shower head was loose, almost not hanging on.
2) The number of the room was written on the keycard, which is not secure if the card had been lost.
3) When checking out it seemed like the hotel tried to charge me for having some makeup residue on their white towel, first time encountering this at a hotel. The worker who brought the towels from my room seemed angry that there were stains and told the receptionist it would not come off in the washer. At home my towels always gets clean if there is makeup residue, but I got annoyed at the unproffesionality of the workers. If they dont want stains then dont provide white towels!

It was in an exciting part of Saigon, a bit outside the city centre but bustling and lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Also close to some tourist attractions as well as the war museum. Staff were very accommodating and helpful.
4.2
Away from the hustle and bustle from central area but not too far away where it's hard to commute there. Plenty of local food around the vicinity
I wish there were more options for breakfast.
Had to wait sometime for the water to heat up

Friendly staff
Too expensive laundry service

Spacious room, good bathroom
Breakfast is not quite good and require to order prior the next day. To noisy outside the room. As my window was in the private part of the street there was too much of rooster's scream

The front desk, housekeeping, and security personnel were kind, courteous, and very professional during my extended stay. The breakfast was tasty and the ice coffee was excellent. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is walkable and very safe. I stayed at the hotel for 21days (extended from 14 days). The view was spectacular and the location allowed for restful sleep.

Great location. Very near to the market with great places to eat. Jason on the reception was so helpful. Extremely welcoming and super friendly. Gave us tips where to eat etc, helped and accommodated us when we decided to stay extra night. Nothing is a problem for him, does his utmost to make you feel at home. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Jason

-The staff tries there best
- The picture don't reflect the reality. It looks much older and worn down. It could have been cleaner.
- The advertising is misleading, e.g. there is a TV but it has little use, the only thing you can do with it is use the YouTube app.
- There is a rooster next to the hotel that is very loud and active in the early morning

The location is pretty good as the market is at a walkable distance. The lady who got me breakfast was very cheerful!
The breakfast has only 4-5 options. I had to eat eggs almost every day since I am a vegetarian but eat eggs. The front desk team wasn't keen on accommodating requests. Fruits are the least options they can provide along with breakfast. They didn't give me green tea when I asked for it and said there wasn't anymore, which was rude and they handed over the red tea packets to me. I asked for a water bottle after consuming 2 in a day and was told to buy more water. I have never seen any hotel doing this to their customers. There should at least be 4 bottles provided in a room. I didn't find the hotel staff friendly at all!
There were ants on the bed and I insisted to change my room. They upgraded my room without any extra cost, so thanks for that!
Advice: Do not book the historical trips through the front desk staff. Rather, do it by yourself. They conned me by charging a lot of extra money, which I later learned from the tour guide. I got some of it back upon arguing, but they anyway made a good commission from the money I paid. So be careful!
My travel dates were- Oct 24th- Oct 30th
I wouldn't stay at the same hotel again

A good budget option in the area

It is a place with no frills but I was expecting that. The room was very big and very clean so that was perfect. The location was okay, maybe I was expecting it to be a bit closer to the main sites and with a more interesting way to walk there, but it wasn't a problem and I was aware it's no super central. There are some points of interest nearby and the area is full of very interesting eateries and cafes. Very lively and authentic.
They have a very awakward system for breakfast, it's not a buffet and you MUST tell them they day before what you want. There was only one Western choice so I ended up having the same - I adore Asian food but I cannot get out of my home country's habits in the morning and I struggle to have things like soup and veg and normal food really (even egg is a struggle but I got used to that at least). This is my bad and not the fault of the hotel.
The problem is... on the last day I did not tell them my breakfast choice for the next day (the reception is located in a corner so you can totally enter the place and go to your room without being seen and I had no reason to go there) and they RANG my room phone at 5:55 am (I repeat: FIVE TO SIX IN THE MORNING) to ask what I wanted. Seriously? Couldn't they just use my previous choice? Or do ANYTHING ELSE than wake up a guest at an ungodly hour? I know Vietnamese get up early but I don't. I have a lot of problems sleeping and mornings are horrible for me, so I was very, very annoyed (and I did politely mentioned it). It was my last day of holiday, I had to travel that afternoon and be at work the next day, so it was VERY irritating. They really need to change the breakfast process and re-train their staff that the only reason to disturb a guest at that time is if the place is on fire or something. Completely unacceptable and for this reason I would not go back there.
Other than that, the staff was nice and polite but one of them was a lot more proactive and generally helpful than the other. At first I thought it was because his English was also better than the other person's but actually I think the less proactive one also had good English so it must be that he needs more confidence/training to deliver good service and not just the bare minimum.

Staff are excellent & location is great, very easy to find.
Had stayed here earlier in the week & the room was exceptional. Not sure if because a larger room & a little more expensive they kept it better. This time the room was dingy, broken remote, tv crooked, dirty towel & shower head so rusty. Was disappointed as I really loved the room the first stay.

It is more like serviced rooms than a hotel as no facilities on site.

I came here for a 1 week period business trip. Location is nearby city center, you can arrive down town within 30 mins. Around the hotel there are many shops that can can visit for eating or buying gorceries. Reception staffs are amazing, speaking good english, also helpful. There are several menus for breakfast, all of them are ok. It would not be boring for a week staying. A good experice.
Shower water temperture is difficult to control, it is either too hot or too cold.
