Welcome to Mountains-To-Sea. This amazing home sits directly on a beautiful 500 ft wide natural canal which flows into the Intracoastal Waterway.

It's a beautiful house with tons of space and loaded with amenities (including an elevator). Beautiful sunset views over the intercoastal waterway and bridge with a peek of the ocean as well.
The Coastal Carolina Museum is down the street so it's extremely close to OIB's "downtown" area.
A couple of times I need to ask Bob a question and he responded immediately and he even checked in to make sure everything was well.
Great trip. Great house. Couldn't ask for more.

What a beautiful property and home! We had a large family stay for 6 days. There was plenty of room and everything needed to have a wonderful stay. Plenty of space and we needed nothing but food. Owner has thought of everything for a seamless stay. Very responsive and friendly. We plan to book this one again in the future. Thank you!

This property lived up to the reviews we had read. Not your typical, old and worn-out beach rental, with family photos and old furniture (you know the kind) in every room, but in every detail well thought-out and decorated as you would want your own place to be.
The kitchen was top-notch with everything you need: good knives, an electric griddle, a large pantry for all the food the families want to bring, etc…
We had a great week. The house has fantastic outdoor areas from the pool (in the shade mostly) with a TV there for the guys, to the deck(s),
The property owner, Bob, was responded asap, with any questions that arose. It felt like he really cared that we have a great time & that meant a lot to us!!!

This property was wonderful and had everything you would want while on a beach vacation. The pool, dock, and elevator were a great addition. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a huge plus! We enjoyed our stay and loved the sunset views across the canal.

Absolutely wonderful! The house is extremely clean and orderly with so much to do and entertainment in walking distance. The golf cart made getting to the beach a a breeze and the kitchen actually had sharp knives! Bob called when we arrived to make sure everything was ok and is so nice and responsive. We would definitely book again!

This is the second time we have stayed in this wonderful home. The home is well built and the amenities are unmatched. Everyone had their own personal space and we had beautiful shared spaces. The pool and TV was used every day. The kitchen is very well stocked. The location is perfect. Wendy, the woman who helps clean the house, and her crew were very personable and prepared the house perfectly for us to move into. Bob checked on us during the week to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. Our family had a wonderful vacation together. Beautiful place with so much to do. We took our boat, and the boys fished, we swam in the beautiful swimming pool, and spent several days on the beach. We also enjoyed the sunsets on the deck - lovely view. This was perfect for our family and hope to return again.

Rare find
This is our second year here at Mountains -to -Sea and once again did not disappoint. The elevator is a life saver. Bob is always attentive to issues that pop up. The house is spacious, well appointed and well thought out. Great views, a deep water dock for boats, and convenient to everything on the island. Extra bonuses: tons of spices, top notch cookware (we are all chefs), numerous kitchen appliances for entertaining, small containers of washing powder, dishwasher tabs, even some tupperware for leftovers. Ice machine! Beach toys for tots, beach chairs, bicycles, golf cart, pool toys. This place is exceptional in all areas! Just bring your toothbrush and a swimsuit.

Perfect Home
This property is more than words can express. This is our 2nd year using this home and it fits our family perfect. Our son brings his boat and the dock is perfect for it and for fishing and catching crabs. The convenience of the pool with 2 small grandchildren is perfect as well. The photos that are posted is just what you see in the home. Immaculate interior and exterior of the home and everything you need for a great vacation. We love this place and highly recommend it.

We stayed here last year and loved it so much we came back for another family vacation. Our ages ranged from 1 years to 92. The house is beautiful and has the best view and location. Bob and Sharon keep the house immaculate and think of everything a guest would need. They are great hosts. We highly recommend staying here-but take the week we want!

Perfect Beach Getaway
The home was even better than advertised! It was spacious, comfortable, and very well stocked. The location was perfect and our group spent hours on the porches, by the pool, and on the dock. The view was beautiful and interesting. The golf cart made it easy and fun to go to the beach and other areas on the island. The beach access and pier are both very close. The rental included more items for activity than we realized and that made the trip even more fun! The owners were extremely communicative and checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

One of Our Best Vacations
We all fell in love with this house, the view and the island. We’ve stayed in numerous vacation rentals through the years and can say this was the cleanest.
We spent a lot of time on the deck just taking in the view. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was incredibly nice, as well as an elevator that definitely spoiled us! The kitchen/pantry is beyond fully stocked - they have provided literally anything and everything you could need. We thought the pool was the perfect size and utilized one of the bicycles during the week. Being so close to the pier, museum, park, putt-putt and restaurants was a huge plus and very convenient. Bob took the time to call after we arrived to make sure we had all we needed, which was much appreciated. I would give this property ten stars if I could and would recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Love, love, love this house and all the amenities. The hosts were super helpful w/any questions we had and bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. Highly recommend staying here especially if you’re a family as the set up has owners suite upstairs w/kitchen and downstairs has the other bedrooms and additional tv area for teens (or parents) who prefer a little privacy.

Fantastic Experience!
We brought our family of five (kids-17,12, 10) and two friends who are graduating seniors. The house was so spacious with private restrooms for each bedrooms and the kitchen/living room//dining room was large and very functional.
The kitchen had any appliance and dish you could ever need. Decor was beautiful and functional.
The pool was perfect and they have wonderful kayaks, pool and beach toys and chairs.
The weather was cool but we had a wonderful time. We visited March 26- April 3rd. The island was very quiet and their were not crowds.
The owners are very gracious and helpful. We would highly recommend this wonderful home.

Great fall weather at the beach
Mountains-to-sea is a beautiful house!! The house and decor were beautiful and made our stay very comfortable. There was plenty of fun things to do from the pool, plenty of bikes, kayaks, to the dock on the canal. My mother wanted a house where she could sit on the deck and watch the marsh. That’s exactly what she got to do for a week.
The owner quickly replied to any questions by text and calls. The kitchen had practically any appliance you need. The stand alone ice maker was a treat! The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable.
I would highly recommend this house to friends and family.

We stayed September 2021. Wonderful home to rent. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mountains to Sea. Loved the pool under cover, it kept some of us senior citizens from getting sunburned. There is nothing about this house that isn't great. We brought our boat , the dock was a great addition.

SUPERB!
We've rented homes around the world and this is the best rental we have ever stayed at. It is as though someone who lives there just stepped out - everything is stocked so well you don't have to stress about not having basic supples. Excellent location! Golf cart is a major plus. Pool is lovely! Pool bar is wonderful for entertaining. 4 Kayaks were available and 6 bicycles, also 4 beach chairs, 4 life jackets, and squirt guns. There are no negative aspects to this home. Close to everything and lovely views of the marsh. Bob was responsive to our questions. We will be back.

My family absolutely loved this property! It literally had every quality you could want and need in a home. It was very comfortable, very clean and we can’t wait to go back! We typically try a new house every year but this house was just perfect for us and we look forward to staying here again! Bob and Sharon were a delight to work with. Very attentive!

Perfect Home
This home fit our family perfectly and was everything it was described on VRBO and more. So many things included with the home and close to all the stores if you needed anything. We enjoyed our boat rides in the afternoons on the waterway, concert in the park, worship on the beach, and the joys of the beach itself. This is a spectacular home and the decor was beautiful. Beautiful house and location. The owners thought of everything. Great vacation spot and things to do for all ages. Our family members ranged in age from 6 weeks to 91 years old. We plan on going back next year. By far the best rental property we have ever stayed in.

The Perfect Property
What a great property! We stayed here a few days prior to our ocean front rental, and I wish we had been here the whole time. Clean as a whistle on check in has all the amenities you could need and then some. Beautiful house, great location.
