5 bedrooms and 3 baths can be accessed from the driveway with NO Stairs.
Level walk-drive way, leading to the extra wide covered composite PRIVATE dock (with "Swin Easy Stairs" and boat tie up on two sides). Great for families with children and easily handicap accessible. High Speed Internet ..... Plenty of seating on patio and gas grill for cooking. Kitchen is fully equipped!
3 Large Pull Out Tables ..Each Seats 8.
All bed linens and towels are provided for convenience!.

The outside could have been cleaned better, the grill and tables had lots of pollen stuck on them, I had to scrub them so that we could use them.

Great but…

Great location and good swimming and kayaking from the dock/property. Needs a deeper cleaning. Also would have expected dish washing soap, dishwasher pods, dishwashing scrubbers, laundry detergent as well as body wash and shampoo in the bathrooms.

We had a great family weekend at John’s home celebrating Thanksgiving and Clemson football. We loved how close the home was to campus. It was a huge home with room for everyone and then some. Views from the dock were incredibly gorgeous. Really enjoyed our stay.

Lakehouse was perfect size with the eight bedrooms. Large kitchen areas. Just a short walk down to the dock and water where we spent most of the day and evening sunsets. Only suggestion is to update downstairs refrigerator (rack broken) and downstairs stove ;(surface area and door gets very hot) We had a great time.

The property was a great place for our large group. John was so easy and accommodating to work with. He responded quickly and made our stay great for our all. We enjoyed the lake and the fact that you could drive down to the dock. That helped our senior adults immensely. Would rent again!

Everything about this property was great. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy each other at the same time. Every year in August, our family tries to meet for a long weekend to catch up and spend some quality time visiting and of course eating!! The house was spacious and the two kitchens were definitely a plus. The lake was wonderful and we all enjoyed swimming, kayaking, making up a little friendly competition in both. The owner was absolutely great. He responded quickly and called, even after emailing to make sure I had the information I needed to access the rental. I would recommend this place again and I think our family will certainly be coming back...

This property facilitated our family of 8 adults and 9 children. Don't let the picture deceive you. The house had Jack and Jill bathrooms between 3 sets of bedrooms in addition to 2 more bathrooms. The two large kitchen eating space was super. We served breakfast upstairs and lunch/dinner downstairs. Our grandchildren were young so they lived and swam in lifejackets when on dock. We had 2 9x7 floating pads which helped for water safety. The water was deep at end of dock. It's a 15 minute boat ride to Clemson marina to rent a boat. Nice coves in area for tubing. A 14 inch catfish was caught off the dock!

Great place for the whole family! The walk to the dock is not too steep and you can drive your gear down if you need to. Lake is beautiful! On the website the bedrooms are numbered, but at the house the doors have letters. Makes it hard to figure out where everyone is sleeping. Owner is super easy to talk to and let know about things that are needed. Some beds and things may need a little update. But over all it's a great place for the family to hang out. Plenty of room! Glad we found this place this year!

We had a wonderful stay. The walk to and from the dock was no stairs! Yes, it’s a small hill but easier on the knees. The house was well kept and had everything we needed. The lake is deep at the dock, perfect for jumping and diving. The owner was helpful and easy to get ahold of if needed.

Great property, plenty of room in the house for our family of 24 celebrating my 70th Birthday. One of few lakefront properties where we were able to drive my disabled husband right to the dock! Lake Hartwell is beautiful and swimming off the dock was great for the kids! Friendly neighbors, fully equipped house, plenty of patio chairs for my large family. Fabulous week! Best Birthday ever! ❤️

Our family (ages 17 - 81) had a great time. We appreciated the eating areas and living areas on both floors.. Really liked having the gravel drive all the way to the lake. Our only suggestion would be to add a few more ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

My only flaw was the owner wouldn’t respond after my deposit was charged. My son put rugs in a closet due to tripping over them and my deposit was taken For them being gone I tried to contact him and not one response. I was charged for a broken makeup stand and I asked for pics and again not one word.

My extended family and I had a fantastic visit. The house was very spacious and the dock was perfect. In fact the dock was where we spent the majority of our time hanging out. The owner, John, was very friendly and responsive to our questions. Overall an excellent experience.

The property was truly as advertised. We had 20+ people and there were beds in bedrooms for everyone. No one on a sofa-bed in the middle of the living room. Large kitchens and gathering spaces inside and out. The drive to and from the stadium was the shortest we have had in a VRBO house. I am hoping we can get this place again.

Took 3 elderly relatives with limited mobility but was able to drive them down to the dock. We then put the wheelchair on the nice wide ramp and rolled them right to the boat. So thankful that they all got to participate. My uncle was even able to swim because of the stair ladder with rails to get out of the water! Would rent again any time.

This was the perfect spot for booking our mini family reunion. PLENTY of space with 2 kitchens to prepare all the food for our crowd. Loved that there are 5 bathrooms too. Open floor plan upstairs and downstairs to socialize and play games. The lake is beautiful with lush green clear water. We mostly hung out by the dock on the boat and on or on our floats. The property has plenty of shade. We’re planning to book again for next year.

We stayed here for the dabo football camp. Only 10 mins to stadium! 6 families and we had plenty of room. Got to enjoy the lake with our boats and fish off the dock also. Cooked out on the patio. Beautiful location! Would definitely stay again. GO TIGERS!
